Ok, I'm TTC and I am in the 2WW period right now. My question is, how soon is too soon to be experiencing symptoms if you were pregnant? I've had cramping in my bottom, dull aches and cramping in my left pelvic area and I'm urinating more than I usually do, considering I'm not a big drinker and hardly ever go to the bathroom(very bad I know). I still have 9 days before I can take a PT, so I'm thinking I just may be going crazy. I have a 14 yo DD, and 11 yo DD, so I don't really remember what it was like. Anyone else experience any kind of symptoms this early?

I have a friend who said she knew she was pregnant right away! You may be one of those people. Usually symptoms start around implantation time and that can be as soon as 6 days after ovulation. Good luck!

Lol. That's awesome. Yeah, I have 2 DD's, but they were with my ex. Now that I'm only the lonely I'm going the donor route. This is my first round and I'd be on cloud 9 if it did wk and it was a healthy viable pregnancy.

Girlspn, my BBT is still high, gaining temp each day actually. I've been going to the bathroom frequently as well, but who knows. The mind is a very powerful thing. I've POAS twice, knowing it was too early, and got BFN's; I'm due to POAS for real on Fri, or Mon, if I use the early detection one. What do ya think? Should I do it Mon w/the EDPK, or just wait til Fri since I've already gotten 2 BFN's. The suspense is KILLING me!!!! Nice to know it may not ALL be in my mind. HAHAHAHAHA. I'll kp you guys in the loop.

franluvsbubba, I started testing at 8dpo because of the nausea and got bfn on 8,9,10 dpo. Got a very very faint lines on 11dpo that could've been evap lines. 12dpo was faint bfp. Actually I was encouraged my by temps. It spiked after ovulation, stayed high, then rose on 11dpo and has stayed up.

Good luck!!!! How many dpo are you?

franluvsbubba-- two week waits are so terrible!! I bought a bunch of cheap hpt from the internet because I get the itch to POAS so bad. Even though those cheapies were all BFN even until now. I tested with 2 other generic hpt brands along with those cheapies, and one of them showed faint lines by 10dpo but I couldn't say it was bfp. By 11dpo, both brands had super faint lines that I can only see clearly 10 minutes. I read some ladies get bfp by 8 dpo! It just varies so much depending on when the implantation is.

Today is only 15dpo for me, so only 4 weeks along. I was a little worried yesterday because AF was due. Dr said to go in for an ultrasound in 3 weeks, which seems like forever after this 2ww!!

FX for you!!!!

Thanks girlspn. I'm so glad ur AF didn't come smile.gif Mine is supposed to come Sat, and like clockwork I always get crampy in my back 2 days before, so I'm going to be REALLY paranoid and stressed come Thur. My BBT is still high and I'm just praying it stats that way and that I have conceived. Let me know how ur doc appt goes, and I'll check in on Thur and let u know if I think AF is coming.

Hopeful05, after you ovulate your temp spikes and then remains high until you get AF. If you conceive ur temps should remain high. I think I read somewhere that if you experience a temp drop after you've already gotten a BFP, you may end up miscarrying. But I'm not positive do don't quote me on that.

girlspn, I now have tender breasts AND nipples. I was worried tht AF was maybe coming early cause I've been a lil crampy in my back. But I can't imagine it'd come THIS early. My temp did go down a lil, but only by .2, and that can be just a fluctuation cause I wore less clothes thn I usually wear, who knows. Anything new with you? My 2WW is almost done!!!!! Woo-hoo!!!! If I can just make it to Fri, that's when I can test and expect an accurate answer. Oh how I hope and pray it took! Oh, quick question, I've read on here and other forums about Moms taking progesterone before they even know they're pregnant. Do u know why? I took progesterone suppositories in my first trimester, but obviously I was already pregnant. Just curious. L8r smile.gif

fransluvbubba-- progesterone helps prevent early miscarriages if the woman is deficient in progesterone. Progesterone is needed to sustain a pregnancy. You have to start taking it after ovulation if you do need it. I read it's too late to start progesterone after pregnancy is confirmed. Most women who take progesterone have either miscarried before due to low progesterone, or have confirmed short luteal phases from charting.

I took a few more tests (just 'cause I've got them and can't help myself), and those cheap test strips are finally showing light BFP at 16 dpo. I've also stopped taking my bbt and just go with it instead of worrying about everything. My first u/s is still 3 weeks later.

The last few days of the 2ww are the longest, lol. Good luck!! FX for you!!!!

Lol. I was going to take a test today but COULDNT FIND IT!!!!! I almost passed out. I ended up getting a blood test at my docs today. The results will come in tomorrow!!!!! I'll let u know as soon as I know. The nurse said if it comes bk neg and AF dsnt come on Fri, I should come bk the following wk. I'm surprisingly calm and just can't wait for some answers finally. Funny to think that you're 7 days ahead of me. Glad those cheapies are still showing up BFP's. BTW, whts FX stand for? Lol.

You can absolutely get symptoms before implantation due to early pregnancy factor - about 2 days after ovulation/conception, the blastocyst signals the ovaries to make EPF which prevents the body from rejecting the blastocyst as a foreign body.  In my case, I had sore/lumpy breasts, tiredness, cravings and heartburn long before my BFP at 9 DPO.

FX means "fingers crossed."  Good luck to you!

Ikr!!!!! Can u BELIEVE I POAS tonight?!!!! Remember how I said I wanted to in the mng but cldnt find the test tht I had at home? Well my crazy self went to the Walmart while my youngest was at gymnastics to get her food for break; I couldn't resist temptation even though I just had blood work done!!! So I bought one. Anyhow, of course it was a BFN. The funny thing is I'm still not too worried. Now, if my BBT has dropped any tomorrow I'll prob cry. I know the numbers can fluctuate a little. How much is too much tht I should be worried about? Hoping my doc calls me EARLY!!! Ok, this paranoid, obsessive lady is going to browse FB and thn head to bed. Nite!

fransluvbubba, it's still early!!! it's not over until it's over! I totally understand. I started POAS on 8dpo and saw nothing until 11dpo, and still super faint and uncertain. Can't wait for your update!
