Anovulatory cycle and early 'period'?
I am pretty sure (even though I'm not 100% sure) that I just had an anovulatory cycle. I had none of the signs I usually get - painful ovulation, lots of CM, etc. and I also started 'spotting' (thick brown stuff, not straight on blood) 2-5 days earlier than usual (day 27 instead of day 29-32). I am experiencing light period-like cramps.
I suffered miscarriage and had D&C on April 14th and ovulated just 2-3 weeks after the D&C, had a normal, be it long, period on day 32 and so I expected even this cycle (cycle number 2 post-miscarriage) to be normal. But alas, it doesn't seem to be anywhere close to normal.
What does this mean? Is it normal? Should I consider today as the first day of my new cycle? How does this even work when it comes to anovulatory cycles? I'm sorry, I'm totally new to this and as I'm planning to TTC soon, I'm a little freaked out by this.
