Hi everyone,

@FyerFly , your PhD sounds very interesting. Much like you I organize and clean the house when I am in waiting mode. I also like to do things for myself- manicures, bubble baths, read a good book. Or try to do some tourist things in our town- a museum etc. Also I have started a couple blogs- one on my journey through infertility and one about money management- my passion.

Hi @Melinda1980 , the month is certainly flying by- other times it feels like it couldn't move any slower if it tried. I hate waiting. LOL! Glad you are starting to feel better dear. Sorry you are still spotting. The unknown is hard and trying to plan around it is even more difficult. I am also a planner and this feels like it is so out of my control.

I agree with Melinda1980 @apeydef , I think her body is still trying to get back to normal. Glad you are doing the grad club. I will change the link.

Sorry to hear about your negative tests @mamalovehm

AFM: Cramping and waiting for AF to show up. I keep trying to remind myself that this is a good thing. Every cramp is one cramp closer to doing our IUI. I know it sounds dumb but I just need to feel like we are moving forward.

Hi everyone else!

Well, now I don't know what to think. AF was due yesterday. I am a grumpy *&@$, but no other pregnancy OR period symptoms. I usually cramp for a day or two before my period.

Took another test this morning, 15ish DPO. After 2 minutes it was negative and I had to tend to something else. Totally forgot about it, went to throw it away 10+ minutes later. So of course it has a line on it. I'm thinking it's an evap.

So more waiting. Of course I've been drinking, and not good about taking my prenatals, so I am starting to worry that it's positive and I've messed everything up. I was PERFECTLY behaved last cycle and got a BFN, so I sort of slacked this cycle when I got to 10 DPO with no symptoms. My other three pregnancies all had symptoms within the first week after conception.

Move me to waiting to O
AF came today. Going to take next month off as my sister announced that she's going to get married in March...and being 6 hours drive I don't think it's smart to be that far away. I'm bummed cause she knows we are trying and when she found out today I'm not pregnant she went ahead announced they'd be getting married in March...only reason she doesn't want February is she "doesn't like Valentine's day"...so I guess I'll just put my life on hold. Feeling annoyed.

While I'm hardly an expert... I do think that putting your life on hold for your sister is just going to make you resent her + the wedding. If you got pregnant this upcoming cycle (assuming today is CD1 and you have a 28 day cycle) your EDD would be April 16. Personally I'd just go for it and cross that bridge when you get there. I've stopped living my life in a world of "what if" because it just makes me crazy.

@MakeItSew , try using evening pee. Sometimes it's a better indicator. As for behaving and not behaving, I was in a similar boat. For the 8 months we consistently were trying and planning, BFN every month and late and inconsistent AFs. The month we moved and I decided no more trying until we were in our permanent home, I got my BFP. Keep in mind I decided to start drinking again, I was super stressed with the move, and one my dogs ate my bottle of prenatals. Now I'm 5 months pregnant, all thanks to that "break" and "slacking" I was doing. Hope it's your turn!

OMFG this is so frustrating! I'm broken out like a pizza-faced teenager, I have an itchy rash on both legs, I'm ravenously hungry for Korean food all day every day, I'm peeing every hour, I'm cranky, my back hurts, my BBT chart is now triphasic... and I tested negative this morning. 11dpo. This NOT KNOWING is driving me up the wall!

Hi there...

Please put me in waiting to O, CD 9

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I'm not sure where we are headed right now. I decided to just not talk about the whole ttc thing with DH. I think that stresses him out, the actual planning to ttc and trying. I think that if "it" just kind of happened he would be happy. I'm pretty sure he is aware that I'm somewhere near O and he has actually initiated dtd, which hasn't happened in awhile, the meds he has taken kill his libido. I'm pretty sure the new stuff he is taking is starting to make him feel better and they don't seem to affect his libido as much as other meds he has been on. Thank goodness for that, lol...prior to his taking meds for depression he was ALWAYS in the mood and hopefully he gets back to normal in that respect, I missed it, lol. So I'm trying not to stress or think about it, still charting but not obsessing. Maybe ill have the same luck as others who have "slacked", so FX.

Congratulations to all the recent BFP ' S!!!!

I've been keeping an eye on everyone and so happy to see you doing well. I'll be back soon and catch up on personals, it's such a pain on my phone.

@MakeItSew ...that sure doesn't look like an evaporation line to me. That line is most definitely pink and in my experience evaps are grey. So FX for you...take another test and share the pic, if you don't mind....!

AFM... I'm just trying not to let stress enter my world and just enjoy the summer and do what I enjoy. Time to go soak up the sun!!!

I took another one, and this time watched it like a hawk. There is definitely a line. It showed up around 3 minutes in, though it's still really faint.

Here's the picture

So if a line is a line... then I guess I'm a BFP. I'm honestly completely caught off guard. I was sure I was out, and made a whole bunch of plans assuming as much. Not that I'm gonna change them right away... with my two previous BFPs ending in miscarriage (8 and 12 weeks) I'm not really holding my breath.

So... yay I guess?

Congratulations! I know it's hard not to worry (sorry, I haven't introduced myself, I've kind of taken a break and not stress about ttc, I was more active in previous months) I'm so sorry about your losses, I know that sounds trite, there aren't any words that can make you feel better. Just know you are among many wonderful women who have suffered losses and understand your wprry. I have had one late 1st trimester loss and at least 2 chemical pregnancies so I understand that celebrating when your worried is difficult beyond words. Try to have hope though and I'm sending much positive energy your way.

@Melinda1980 ..I'm not sure if I "said" anything upon your return, but wanted to be sure,...I am so sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking. But I'm so happy to see you are strong and moving forward. I'm praying for your cycles to get back to normal and for your rainbow..

@ charmedseed. ..((hugs)) I'm so sorry. Stay strong

@Anna1979 ...you've got a great plan in motion...I don't think that those supplements were any coincidence, they were meant for you.

@ SeattleRain...hi there! I'm sorry the doctor isn't willing
To do much of anything for you. Sometimes I think the doctors take the 6 month and one year rule a little too rigidly. If you feel like more should be done then don't let it drop, you know you body beat, and if you don't feel like her decision, would you be willing to look for a doctor who is more willing to listen?

@ tinytina...I'm getting excited for you. Hopefully this time next month we will be symptom spotting with you! I am really impressed with how well you have handled the many setbacks that were thrown at you and you and DH don't let it hold you back. Kinda like a freight train
Nothing is going to stand in the way of your dream and it it tries you stomp right over it.

@ badwolf ..good to see you doing so well! Try to just take it one box at a time. ..you'll get there. Hoping that I'll be where you are while I step away from the stress of ttc..and believe in His timing.

@dis caleata. ..not knowing sucks! I'm with you there. ...your chart looks good and lots of women don't get positives on tests until 16 and even 20 dpo (check out some charts on tcoyf! BIG FX!!!

@ apeydef...good to see you! I can't believe how fast, yet slow time seems to be going.

@ perkier. .Hi! How are you? So glad the beginning of your TWW was spent on vacation. Go anyplace fun? Happy to see you sticking to your plan. Saturday it is...I'll be :nerd
@radiowave . .hi neighbor...the oppressive humidity of Baltimore is No fun. I grew up in the burbs nearby. After college i moved a bit nothe and crossed the line. The area just got too crowded for meand i love all the little towns that i npw live around. Dh and i come back tp visit though and really have a blaat. Tons of fum sruff to do. I spent a summer during college, waitressing in a fun restraunt, at the place I believe your visiting for vacation. Hope your having a great time. I'm sorry to hear that this process has become so much more complicated than you thought...I believe all will go well for you FX
@ Srella...congratulations! ; hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!

Shoot, I want to say hello to so many friends, be back later, family calls!

Thank you!

Oh hey, does anyone know how many days your temps need to stay elevated above the usual luteal-phase level in order to call it a triphasic chart? Mine have spiked way up above normal both yesterday and today, but I don't know really if that means I have a triphasic chart. Hmm.

@MakeItSew Congratulations!! Stickydust!!

In order to be triphasic you just need 3 clear levels of temps. That's it. If it dips down right away then I wouldn't call it but if it stabilizes then yes. Triphasic doesn't always equal pregnant but it's a good sign.. at least it has been for me. This last BFP my chart looked like crap.

Kyle and Jordan - Married June 22nd, 2013

My chart -

One loss - March 2014 (5 weeks)

BFP on June 13, 2014 - EDD 2/25/2014
First Beta at 12DPO-186. 15DPO-598!

Hi everyone
@MakeItSew that's a pretty little line in my eyes! thinking of you, hope you get a sign that everything is going well to make you feel more certain
@tinytina glad everything is moving in the right direction for you! Excited for you to move on to the next step.
@ayme371 glad to hear your husband is feeling a bit more like his usual self, those changes must be hard on both of you.
@mamalovehm sorry to hear about the less than ideal timing for your sister's wedding. I know it's hard to balance wanting to be a good sister and wanting to do what's in your own family's best interest. I too have an important family event that involves flying across he country in May...DH and I have decided not to put our TTC on hold to work around it. It's just too important to us to possibly miss "our time" plus I know my family would be so thrilled anyways that if it ended up that we couldn't be there I hope they will all understand. I'm not suggesting that you should do one thing or another, just wanted to share my similar experience so you don't feel alone in whichever decision you decide is best for your family.

AFM: please move me to TWW I'm on CD20 (7 dpo) today and nadda sign or symptom of anything going on in there. I have short cycles and should know by this weekend if my pre AF spotting has started. I'm not even getting the urge to POAS yet so I think traveling for the first week helped on that front. So we shall see...

@BadWolf 92087 glad to see you here with a BFP! You too @apeydef . Nice to see some familiar names with good news.

Thank you everyone else for the sticky vibes. I don't even know what to think at this point, I'm so afraid to get my hopes up. I took another test this morning and it's a pretty clear line. So now I play the waiting game. We're not waiting until it's "safe" to tell people, since I probably won't consider it "safe" until some period after the baby is born. Maybe college. I figure if someone asks or it's otherwise relevant we'll tell them.

I did have some spotting yesterday, but I also had some uh, other issues (lets' just say I'm not getting enough fiber in my diet), so I'm not even positive it was related to the pregnancy.

Sorry, I feel a bit guilty still hanging out here with my little pink lines... is there a thread for people too paranoid to join a DDC?

@HappyMama2013 and @MakeItSew I agree that putting my life on hold isn't ideal...I also know that I have a very small family with both of my parents passed (my Mom 7 months ago) and I couldn't not be there or take the risk of traveling at 36 weeks when I've had a previous early babe. We've decided to skip this cycle and I'm going to go visit an old friend I haven't seen for years and drink lots of good wine...and get back at it in August!

@MakeItSew congratulations! I wish you all the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy. Would also be great for you to pop in here from time to time.

@mamalovehm its going to be hard to break out of the ttc habit this month for you, but I understand your reasons. You never know- the drinks/relax time off with your friends could be just the boost you need to get back at it in August with an immediate BFP fingers crossed.

@every one! I haven't a lot of time for personals right now, but wherever you are in your cycle, I hope you are either a) enjoying bd'ing like rabbits b) keeping sane waiting for that second line catch up again with y'all later.

AFM- should O within the next few days. Been a little too relaxed with temping so I don't know how reliable an indicator that will be this month.

@apeydef ...I'm pretty sure I remember when you got your bfp, I was stalking the thread for a while before I actively joined in. I was much more involved prior to the last 2 months, just was getting too consumed and stressed about ttcw. Between my age and DH being so much up in the air about the whole situation, let's just say that I was beginning to lose my mind and had to take a step back from the every thing . I'm sorry if my comment was confusing, I thought I remembered that you had moved recently and were overwhelmed
with unpacking..sorry if I mixed you up with someone else, I was talking about unpacking when I mentioned boxes.
Thanks for sticking around to cfeer us on! It's encouraging to hear success stories!!!

@MakeItSew Congrats!! Awesome stuff!
@FyerFly A number of my good friends are urban/transport planners, and DH is considering a career shift to transport modelling. What are you focusing on?
@jenjy Good to see your name pop up! How are things going?
@tinytina IUI by the end of this month is amazing news. Have you guys chosen a donor?
@discalceata Any news yet?
@ayme371 I hope your DH keeps feeling better and more like himself. I think it's easy to stress people out with the 'science lab'. Hoping for so many good things for you!
@HappyMama13 Are you planning to test or just wait and see what happens? I agree travelling for the 1st week is super helpful. A holiday should be mandatory for everyone in the TWW!

Hi everyone else...

Ok eagle eyes, I need some line spotting assistance because I am a bit impaired in the seeing-red department, and don't want to ask DH to line spot. Yesterday I was feeling sort of heartburn-y, which is really uncommon, but chalked it up to the lentil pie I had for lunch. Today's 12DPO (and the 4 year anniversary of my first official date with DH!), and I got what may or may not be a line on a FRER. I color-fiddled with one of the photos and pushed up the contrast in effort to see something, and I feel like I see something super faint, but I could also be wrong. I wish these tests weren't on the red/green spectrum!! It's really hard to photograph faint lines.

Whaddya see, folks? Am I delusional? Likely...

(wow, please ignore my bitten ugly thumbnail)

@perkier congratulations! That's certainly a line my dear

AFM- I've come online because I can feel a row brewing and I just don't want to confront DH about it, he doesn't deserve my irrational rant (so I'm offloading here- sorry!)
I'm on CD12. I O either CD14 or CD15, and we have been bd'ing every night for a few nights. DH is going out tonight, so I come home and casually suggest a bit of funtime before he goes out- and he tells me 'no thanks, I had some solo playtime before you came home'!!! My ego is hurt, and more importantly I'm cross at the waste of swimmers. Any other time of the month I'm sure I couldn't care less- but on CD12? Grr Mr!

Now reading that back I do know I sound a little crazy- I know there's plenty of bd time before O, just feels good to get it off my chest- thanks ladies!

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well.

Just hanging out, trying to relax. Waiting for AF to actually start (spotting right now). We order our sperm donation last night- we both agreed on this particular person. He just seemed like a great fit- personality, education levels, and even in appearance. I am so happy with our choice. When is the best time of day to do ovulation kits?

I wish I had all the answers @MakeItSew . I use a pill organizer right by the bathroom sink to remember all my vitamins. Hope you can relax dear. Congrats! We ain't kicking you out, stick around as long as you want dear.

Hi @mamalovehm , my gut reaction is that you should continue TTC -you never know when it will happen and I worry that you will resent your sister if you stop trying just for her. I had a similar thought-process due to my graduation from my Master's program next May. I thought I might skip a month or two so that I could ensure that I could go to it but I am starting to change my mind. What is my priority? I agree living in the "what if" is not working for me either anymore. Glad you made the right decision for you dear.

Hi @badwolf092087 , isn't funny that sometimes not trying makes all the difference

Hi @discalceata , I think not knowing is the hardest part.

Hi @ayme371 , hope not trying and a more relaxed approach will help. I hope that you all can keep me calm early next month- we are looking at being able to do the IUI the last week of July. I am starting to get really excited now. Honestly, I keep holding on to the hope that we will get to be parents.

Hi @apeydef - love that you keep checking in, hope you are doing well dear

Hi @Anna1979

Hi @alivewithyou and @radiowave

Hi @HappyMama2013 , I am getting super excited about the next steps. Fingers crossed for you dear

Hi @alittlemischief , I cannot blame you for getting mad at your hubby dear. Sorry hun

Hi @perkier , I see a line too. Congrats!

Hi @jenjy and @birdies_mama

Me 28, DH 30 , 2 Kitties and working towards having Baby #1.
