I'm so frustrated. My doctor called yesterday with the results of my recent bloodwork and there's a problem. Not quite sure what's going on but I have to go see a specialist and I was adviced not to ttc until this is resolved. OY. Can somebody please ask the universe to leave me the f*ck alone?! I feel like I should be exempt from bad things happening to me since Nazir died. :
Dang...
Anyways, hopefully I will be back on the ttc wagon by Sept.

On a brighter note, I will be heading to Montreal this weekend for my 6th wedding anniversary

Shannon-I really hope that everything works out and you start feeling better soon. This is yet another difficult obstacle to deal with to get to your beautiful baby that's waiting for you.

Hello, All!

I think I might have O'd. But, I have been taking EPO this cycle . . .LOTSA wet CM, but now I've heard that it LOWERS YOUR PROGESTERONE!!!!! ACK! My rise (if I did O) was certainly not great . . .it's lower than it's been in the past, which wasn't high to begin with. I keep wondering if I've messed things up further with the EPO. On the plus side, if I did O, it was early . . .maybe that will magically help my LP problem, even though I know your LP is supposed to stay the same no matter what.

Anyway . . .

Welcome to the new people (hope you're in and outta here!) and welcome back to Kara . . .

Shannon, GET BETTER, woman! Geeze!

Alexis, good to hear that Mike was open to seeing a doc. You two seem to have such a fabulous relationship! I learn so much from your posts!

Korin: Pics, pics, please, of this shawl!!! And thank you for posting the tip about the thermometer (taking the temp 2X). Good to know!

Erika: Maybe the O date is today!

phoebekate: I'm sorry that this temp thing is crazy right now! I hope you find answers soon!

angst: What's up with Prochieve? I never knew prog. would
have side effects like that! Ugh. I gotta be on the lookout for extra moodiness when I start taking mine again.

Maya: Happy Birthday! But boo hoo that your mom isn't coming! You must be feeling a little disappointed . . .but then again, I guess you can fantasize about the new babe and great new job! Is your mom rescheduling?

ETA: SweetTeach, we cross-posted. . .ack! Yes, I am in TOTAL agreement that the universe owes you more than it can ever repay. You are getting a special place in my thoughts tonight . . .I hope your trip is relaxing and joyous!

Hugs to all!

Miz- thanks! I feel like I'm so pitiful in this thread sometimes...

Johanna- thanks! Do you know who Jean Shindoa B..(can't remember) is? I saw this quote a couple of years ago and I also feel very moved by it, so I put it in all of my online sigs.
Quite the long cycle you've got there, eh? I had that problem last month too and I think I will this month as well. I think I'm O'ing now and I'm on CD27. :

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on here for months (ever since my friend Gristastic was a member, she got her in March, woohoo!). I've decided it's time to introduce myself, since our efforts to TTC our second child are officially underway. I have been charting since January and have not ovulated yet : I have a 21 month old dd who still nurses several times a day.

I feel like I know you all already and I'm so happy to finally join in!

SweetTeach - I am so sorry your mysterious problem has put ttc on hold, I would have offered to step and start running the universe for you but I think Korin's going to do a sterling job. And I am sure she spells better than me too.

Korin - thanks for asking your ND coworker about my temps, was it the fact that they are usually stable post O or this morning's ever lowering shinanigans she thought was weird? I presume the latter? If it repeats itself tomorrow I may do something about it but its kind of hard cause I have only met my new GP twice and my homeopath is back home (interstate) so my contact with her is phonecalls at home which I try to limit it to family catch ups and emergencies... I feel rude bugging her with my small issues all the time cause she gives out her home number to far too many people, many of them with REAL problems (like death, dying or babies due :-). My old GP back home is a family friend (she married my mother's ex and they are all close friends) so I could call her at home but again, feels bad, worse even than my homeopath.

Does anyone know what the stats are on implantation? Like the best odds of conceiving with GIO x-days before that was recently posted? How many women implant 6pdo, 7dpo, etc? Isn't 9 or 10dpo kind of late?

OMG, that was a HORRIBLE typing error to make, wasn't it? I don't know if *I* could remain friends with myself! :LOL

But actually, I don't know what's worse -- limiting GIO or becoming a half-time Republican! Um.... let me get back to you on that one, after this month is over! : : :

SweetTeach - I don't who Jean Shindoa B is. I actually got that quote from a tag on a tea bag. LOL! I looked it up and found the quote everywhere from everyone. Its an amazing quote.. In fact I had it on my sig line in my e-mails for quite some time.. I should put it back there Except I saw it as "we are not human beings having a spiritual experience but spiritual beings having a human experience." Basicly the same thing.

Yep, long cycles. And I'm almost positive I didn't ovulate during this one.

Chiromama - I actually made an appointment.. needed a physical and a pap anyway. March of last year was my most recent. Closest appointment they could get me in (and not even with my doctor) was August 21st. Uhm... yeah.

Velveteen - yeah yeah yeah... (see above)

RaggedyAnn - thanks

kate-astrophe -

alexisyael - girl, you crack me up! I'm feeling all right I guess. Tired. I think my lack of vitamins is catching up with me. I'm veggie so I have to be careful and I'm still learning how to get all my vits via diet. So far I'm not so successful. Need to buy more vits (hubby gets paid tomorrow, hopefully its in the budget). I think I'm getting anemic (its a usual battle for me, when I'm not careful).

For interesting commentary check out my woo woo thread.

I'll tell you, once I'm actually ovulating and such, I should have NO problems getting knocked up... lord knows we GIO enough. :LOL As a matter of fact, if I don't go now I'm not getting any......

*poof*

sweetteach, that really sucks. luckily i don't run the universe, cos i can barely run my own life , but i'll have a word with the powers that be

korin, i recignize that annoying friend of yours. i just had a big blow out with a friend who was constantly preaching about the newest guru/book/workshop that changed her life, never asking if I even felt I need it, you know? I think that's called projection... :

katy, we had two stormy days, but we didn't lose power and it's passed now. generally we've had pretty amazing weather here, though, not typical for england at all!

mizelenius, I'm actually kinda relieved my mum isn't coming, but peed off at her cancelling last minute, ah well.

to everyone who is waiting to O or test.

I had a fabulous b.day. Dh threw me a surprise party with a big old chocolate/strawberry cake, then we went out to hear our friend playing with an incredible singer/songwriter from SF, Jolie Holland. If you're at all into blues/country/folk/jazz/amazing female voices, check her outhere. Boy it took me right back to the coffee shops of San Francisco, the fog, the ocean, playing music with Dave...aaah. A little homesick for it all but couldn't have been a better b.day hearing them play, and having him here meeting our little boy. .

Korin's chart. Looking good. Can you recommend a knitting book for beginners?

I'm on CD 60something. Arghh. No AF in sight. Every twinge could be her. I just want to reboot.

Amy I hear you about being in that just want to reboot position..I've been there before, though not there right now.

tara -Happy Birthday to Makenna!!
And happy belated birthday to Muse--sounds like it was a great celebration and a yummy cake! I just finished my cake finally today! yum! (my bday was 2.5 weeks ago).

B&I are in the midst of trying to choose a new donor-always a weird process, but kinda fun too!
The last one worked well in the sense that I got pg quickly, but since I've had 2 m/c we thought this was something we could change. But I'm worried I've left it too late for trying on July 19th/20th (which is when our IUI is currently scheduled).
We'll see.. we may have to go with the old one for now...

mom23..sounds very promising!! good luck!

Sweet Teach-- sorry to hear you'll have to wait, how frustrating! I hope its something that can be fixed easily & enjoy Montreal, one of my favourite cities!!

phoebekate...I'll try and get info on implantation for you..I used to have all this stuff memorized but have put it out of my mind in taking a TTC mental break.

gotta go to work, crazy day!
to all!
