I tested and it was negative like it has been for the other 10 months I've tested. I guess its time to schedule dh's sperm motility test.

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

okay, I stupidly POAS. And got a very very super-duper faint shadow of a line, but my husband can see it too. My camera battery promptly died, so I'm going to go get a new one and post the photos I took. I'll take more tests later in the week as well to confirm.

Ooh, Anna, how exciting!!

: : : :

On another note, why is Clear Blue Easy the way to go...? I am loathe to spend more than $50 on it .... just curious.

Interestingly, two other women I knew who are my age (38) conceived pretty easily. One looked up her ovulation dates on Yahoo using their calendar and did it that way -- the other bought OPKs and never used them, being pg already.

Megan...

That's a hug for every negative.
I'm so sorry. Is there any chance that it is too early to test?

Ok chart day 14 -- no EWCM yet, not much of anything yet except DH's swimmers (which are floating so I am pretty sure that is what it is). Still GIO EVERY nigh...

So can someone explain to me what the cervix should feel like when getting ready to O? Just softer and open?

And from a bit or examination it seems like my cervix is tilted to one side -- the opening I mean. What does that mean? Anything? Normal? Am I a freak?

Anna, it looks like a line to me! Looks a lot like my line on 12 DPO (late implantation). Can you pee on something else? Have any extra OPK's hanging around? I'll be waiting with baited breath! How many DPO are you?

I don't have any OPKs. I have more HPTs, but I'll wait until tomorrow. Here's my chart: http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/4b049 Now you will go
But see, I think that I dropped 2 eggs, one of which was 2 days before the crosshairs, the other being at the crosshairs.

Okay, if you did O 8 days ago, then the + today wouldn't be weird, it is possible. 6 days ago would be about the earliest I've ever heard of, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I'm dying to see what the other two tests look like...

Or a beta. Can you get a beta?

I'm kind of impatient, can you tell?

Anna!!!! Great chart, btw. I agree, it looks like you O'd on CD 22 & 24 (we're cycle buddies this month - I'm volunteering to host AF for you, OK? ) That picture is great! Hope tomorrow's is even better! Oh, and BTW, twins can cause an earlier BFP, since there's more HCG floating around. I'm sure you knew that, but just wanted to mention it.

Megan 2 have you rebooted? If not, I say KHA!

SharonAnne - Those people are really idiots I'm sorry you're having to deal with their inane comments. It's amazing what people say - don't they have a brain-mouth filter?

ETA: Morgan - nope, that's normal (variant of normal, but normal all the same). Cervixes are strange little creatures, and can be found lurking virtually everywhere. Forward, backward, sideways, under the couch cushions... :LOL ok, maybe not there, but they definitely move around and can tilt one direction or the other.

Guys my dh is the best. I told him this morning that the test was negative right after I POAS.
Then this afternoon he came home with a bracelet that I have been wanting. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT
He works with the lady who makes them and I had told him after it "sold" that I would like her to make me one for Christmas. What a great guy, huh?

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

And no AF yet (I prefer AF or period, haven't wrapped myself around rebooting).

Wow, Megan, that's gorgeous. What a lovely DH!

(Yeah, I usually mentally say AF too, but I know a lot of people here prefer the "reboot" term...what's a girl to do? Anyway, I hope AF stays far far far away from you, alright? )

Congratulations! May you have nine healthy months, followed by a beautiful birth of a happy child!!

As for me CD 1. I'm rebooting

I personally prefer "reboot" to "AF" which I can't type without cringing, but I think people should use what feels comfortable.

OMG people SHUT UP ALREADY!
SharonAnne, I hear exactly the same thing (we are moving soon, too) For one thing, it oversimplifies it and makes it sound like we're doing something wrong (thinking about it too much or paying too much attention to our cycles, being too stressed/unrelaxed

I've basically stopped talking about it with anyone except these boards after the whole "don't tell Kara we're pregnant" routine my cousin and his wife pulled a few weeks ago.

It's like someone who doesn't have kids giving me parenting advice. Sorry, but if you aren't ttc and going through this roller coaster ride from hell, than please don't tell me what to do "better" or "more" of .... especially freakin' relax or focus on something else.

Lookie, Sharon Anne, I whined, too 2

No time for personals, just wanted to say I'm still here, still reading, and trying to post when I get a chance.

by the way, Anna, your posts always make me think - girl, I hope your pregnant with twins cuz you have these cool posts archived about how you just "knew" you know?

Okay, making no sense now, so off I go ... and most especially this board!!!!

I think it is actually a shortened form of menstrual period, (in other words, the period of time during which you are menstruating). But your interpretation makes a lot of sense too.

Anna, you're POAS again tomorrow?
