Shannon, I've even heard something about girl fetuses making you sicker because of the increased hormones (theirs+yours) but I'm not sure it is true. I'm one of those luckies that doesn't get very sick, and both of mine are girls.

Anna, if you get a beta, and your numbers are super high, it could be an indication if twins...I think an ultrasound can't pick up gestational sacks until about 5 weeks or so...You're like 3 weeks pregnant, right?

Elena, nice to hear from you! Hope you're feeling okay.

You ladies are doing so awesome this week!! Tons of BFP's!

Congrats to Jodi!!

And, congrats to Shannon on your precious girl!

I hope to have some news of my own soon. I'm really relaxed about TTC this month for some reason. I think it's b/c I'll be going to the specialist on Monday and hopefully he can "fix" whatever's wrong. :

ALL RIGHT PREGNANT LADIES! Where is the babydust? Don't you know you are supposed to dust the rest of us when you get pregnant, and when you drop back in to announce the joyful news that you are having girls or your pregnancy is going well.

COUGH IT UP!

Yea Jodi!

As for me the test was negative again. I woke up at 2:15 this morning because dd was barfing all over herself and then me. We took a bath and I knew my bladder couldn't handle holding it in warm water so I POAS then. Nothing. I'm so confused.

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

Yaaayy Jodi!!!
Just keep repeating: "A line is a line," OK?

I'm in **********, BTW - so we're due to be hit hard starting around lunchtime. Still have power right now (obviously) so I indulged in a hot shower & made a batch of cookies while I still can. No work today, so I can sit here and pester you people until the power goes out. Or I could pack, since I've got a cross-country move coming up in 2 weeks. That would be much too sensible.

Megan - a good friend of mine didn't get a BFP from a stick with either of her pregnancies (both healthy kids) until sometime after 6-8 weeks. I guess she didn't secrete HCG into her urine very much, or chemically modified it somehow, or something? Anyhow, it showed up on a blood test pretty early...just food for thought. I'm KHA for you! Hope Amara feels better - the pukies are the worst.

Hello Everyone. I'm new here. I've been lurking on and off for a while, but this is my first post. First, let me just say congratulations for all the BFPs and 2 for those who need them.

I have been TTC for 7 months now and this is my first month charting. I'm at CD 21 and I may be waiting to O or waiting to know, my fertility signs are a bit confusing. Will someone please take a look at my chart and let me know what they think? Does it look to you like I've O'd or not just yet. FF gives me dotted crosshairs on CD18 if I switch it to research. Any input is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa

Come to think of it I was 6 weeks pregnant with dd and both tests were really light. Does that mean anything?
I wish I just knew for sure. I might make an appointment today.

Welcome, Lisa! Hope you have a short but enjoyable stay here in the One Thread. I looked at your chart but I can't say for certain whether you've O'd or not. CD 18 looks like a possibility but then again it also looks annovulatory - so far anyway. Hopefully you'll get that clear shift soon!

Jodi!! You sneaky little poster you. Waits until the last minute to announce the BFP.
: Congratulations!! :

Congrats to all the BFP's!!!! YAY!!!

I'm having a good day today because AF arrived. So I had a wonderful 28 day cycle and o'd when I thought I did 14 days ago. All seems great except for the 6 day pre-menstrual spotting . I'm taking the Vitex and B vitamins in hopes to correct that next month. I think I need more progesterone.

Also feeling a bit nervous but really mostly excited that this month is IT.

Good luck Carolyn! I'll be following your posts to see if this was the month for you. Only a week until you can test, right?

to all the newly pg mamas and to the rest of us.

Lisa - it looks like you haven't O'd yet, to me. How long are your cycles usually? For instance, I've never O'd (that I know about) before CD 18 or 19, and didn't O this cycle until CD 23. But, for someone who normally O's on CD 12, that would be different, you get what I'm saying. The + OPK makes me think you may be O'ing today, esp. if you have EWCM again today. Maybe some of the other ladies here will chime in, some of them are much more expert than I am at chart interpretation. I put you in the "waiting to O" list, but I'll happily move you wherever you want to be, just let me know.

Megan - I'd definitely get a blood test, then! You may be one of those late + on a pee-stick kinda people. I really hope this is your turn!!! Let us know, OK?

Pepper - Good luck this month! I hope you're a 1st cycle BFP!

Kate - Thanks for the reply. My cycles are pretty unpredictable. Usually around 25 or 32 days. This is my first month charting, so I don't know when I normally ovulate. I don't have EWCM today, so per my + OPK I'm thinking maybe yesterday, but looking at my temps, day 18 was my last one under 98 which is where most have been. I just keep looking for some good news (or at least news, so that I can stop guessing). 7 months has felt like a long time. I know it isn't, but it seems like the people who tell me that were all pregnant before they were really trying. Okay, enough with my rant. I'm starting to feel really self-involved. I'll be back later to do personals. I really appreciate the support.

I think we missed it this month. Big fat surprise there! I took an OPK just a little bit ago and it was negative. My temp. was way off this morning so I discarded it. I'm still having strong o pains though so I think we'll GIO tonight. :
