Hey you all!

The appointments are easy, but the driving has been exhausting. After the trip tomorrow for IUI, we will have put over 1500 miles on the car this month, no, actually in less than the last two weeks ....

The trigger shot sucks. My hip/butt has hurt all day and I feel grumpy and ready for all this be done..... Of course it hasn't helped that my sister is due and I am working full time and going to school....

Sorry about the whining. My dp has been wonderful -- she has driven the last two trips and will drive tomorrow so I can sleep there and back -- just thinking about her right now is making me smile.

I work at Planned Parenthood -- we have family planning, prenatal and pediatrics here all in one building. The RE gave me copies of my ultrasounds yesterday #1 of my "lush" endometrium, #2 of my right ovary with good follicles, and #3 of the biggest follicle as he was measuring it.... I took them around to the staff in the clinics and showed them off like they were a baby. The prenatal staff and midwives were WONDERFUL and supportive, the family planning staff and pediatric staff looked at me like I was crazy, but wished me well......

I don't know what is up with this, I handled the Follistem shots fine, but ever since the trigger shot last night, I have been tired and whiney and my ovaries have hurt and I feel like I need to pee all the time. IS THIS NORMAL? It feels gross. You know, I have NEVER experienced ovulation pain, maybe that is just what it is..... sigh..... I guess I will just have to wait and see....

Sending you all baby dust.... hope you all have fun with the bd'ing projects..... Me? I like my RE. but, , it just isn't the kind of fun you all are having!!! :

Seriously,

have fun!

Birdwomyn - I also had my first trigger shot this cycle. It didn't hurt when she gave it, but I was very sore all that day and the next. Couldn't even sleep on that side the first night! Then, I had terrible ovulation pain on the side where my follicles were, the day I had my IUI and the next morning too. I didn't notice an increase in my grumpiness, though I didn't ask anyone else for their opinion: , LOL.

Arduinna-so am I-no ferning pattern at all yet on my Ovulens. We're BDing anyway. I'm a little concerned-especially since I actually had ferning DURING my period. So weird.

Ok, silly question...

I just started taking prenatal vitamins this week, I had been taking a regular multi and a folic acid supplement. Anyway, I've been feeling a little bloaty and a little crampy.
Has anyone else had an experience like this or am I a freak?

Kelly, I am sorry to hear of your pain and cramping -- and I am expremely glad to know that it may be "normal" for after a trigger shot. We know I developed follicles on both sides but that the left side is so messed up that those eggs will be useless.... The pain I had on Tuesday night / Wednesday day was incredible -- like some of the worst cramping I have EVER had.... and on both sides..... of course, since we were TTC, I couldn't take my usual stand by (ibuprofen) for my cramps and go to bed... I had to spend close to 5 of those hours in the car driving to and from our Dr...... Ugggg

I REALLY hope I get pregnant so that I don't have to so that again!!! Of course, I went from that into my nephew's birth -- my sister had a really difficult time with labor and it probably put my trigger pain into persective a little.....

Thinking of you ALL!!!!

Adina - I first noticed your new title yesterday !! I figured you had already seen it. DDDDC?

BTW - I was feeling a bit optimistic about my 2ww today, so while I was shopping, I bought a package of newborn onesies . Not sure that it will help me get a + this time, but it makes *me* feel more positive !
