Would you move me to waiting to be ready, please? I'm sitting out this cycle so that I won't be 8.5-9 months pregnant at the time of my brother's wedding (which will be a 5 hour plane ride away, so I wouldn't go).

Bummer, but I'll be back in the game once I reboot. Good luck ladies, I'll be rooting for you!

I dont know what to think....I went on the pill over 2 months ago to bring AF back, (dont flame me...I hated doing it, but the clock is ticking..) and it worked (bled pretty much the entire month plus a semi-regular period) BUT, now I am on CD39 (could be 40) and I am not pg, and no signs of AF. I started to chart this month, but was all over, and stopped.

I am getting so frustrated!!! We had lots of trouble TTC ds, and now beginning to face the fact its happening all over again. DS is 2.5 and does nurse, usually once in the morning, and then maybe once throughout the rest of the day. The pill killed my supply, DS is verbal enough to tell me so.

Any thoughts??

tempestjewel ~ thank you for starting the new thread.

monocyte ~ when I went on BCP the first time (many years ago) I skipped one period and had a long cycle like you're describing. After I finally got AF, then I started having normal 28 day cycles.

Hey Mamas!!!!

Well here we are in February and I'm still waiting and waiting and waiting for AF to show up. :

This is probably TMI but....I keep cramping, everyday I'm cramping. And I'm oh sooooo cranky. (DH is really, really tired of the crankies. : ) Anyone else going through this kind of stuttering starting? I know I'm not preggers, at least I'm pretty sure I'm not. I've had two tests come back negative. All right, enough complaining.

Thanks tempestjewel for the post! Good luck ladies!

Becky, any sign of AF? I thought she was showing up at my house but now I am not so sure. I got home and there was minimal on my tampon. So now I have a pad on seeing what is going on. I should know more in the a.m. I am not holding out much hope because I got this bloody show right on the last possible day and I never really spot but just start. It should be full force tomorrow. I am still : for you Becky and any of the rest of you WTK.

Thread looks great Tempest Jewel!

Monocyte - I wish I had answers! Are you willing to try the pill again if AF doesn't re-show? I totally understand desperate measures! Hugs, mama!

still waiting on a first pp eggie here.

DS is *almost* weaned - he nurses a few times a week, for less than a minute when he does nurse.

DD though, nurses on cue day & night

I think I'm waiting to O.... not sure though. I had EWCM, I had the nice high, soft, open cervix.... now the mucous is gone and the cervix is closed but the temps are still low--- so either I did O and it's not showing up in the temps or I stressed myself out enough that it shut off and I haven't yet (or won't this cycle).

Welcome rubyslippers~ hope your stay is short & sweet.

Thanks for starting the new thread, tempest jewel!

So sorry massaginmommy & catgirl! Big s.

I wish mine would hurry up & get here because I have the worst pms I can ever remember. If I had the option, I would go stay in a hotel so I don't do any more damage. I am so hard to be around.
My temp started to dip a little but I still tested, bfn .
I am so frustrated with this whole process. Does anyone wish they could be re-programmed not to care? I try to fool myself into taking it easy but it just never works out that way. I am obsessed! I sometimes wonder if it's really even the baby that I want because what I'm feeling so jealous of is pregnant women & their beautiful bellies... all of the hope for the future. I know that a baby is really what I want but the belly comes first!
Have you noticed the "birth stories" banner on MDC? That beautiful belly?

ANYhow. Happy ground hog's day. Kelly

: ITA!!

TY for the hugs & support everyone. As bummed as I am, in a way it makes me even so much happier to have my DD (if that's possible). I think about all the women who can't get PG at all, and am so grateful that I have one baby. Plus I just pigged out on a Taco Bell crunchwrap supreme - it is to die for! I highly recommend it to everyone on CD1.

On another note... I need to vent. I told my mom (big mistake) and she said, "You've only been trying 3 months. You're making this into too big of a deal." Ummmm.... okay, coming from the woman who got PG without trying or even knowing she was PG when she was 20 & then 23 years old AND she BF for very short periods of time so what does she know anyway.. Thanks for the support, mom. I'm 36, would love 2 more babies, and am obviously not a fertile Myrtle. Why do I ever talk with her?

Welcome rubyslippers!!

massaginmommy ~ I'm sorry you got the witch, too.

YES!!! Completely! Oh I soooo wish that I was one of these people that is mellow about TTC but I just can't be for some reason! Sorry you're having a hard time Kelly.

Nada new here... 9 DPO and trying to hold off on the testing. I'm 50-50... some s/x but I dunno... last mo I had no real s/x and was pg so who knows. Here's my chart http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/sassyone

((hugs)) massaginmama and catgirl.

beemama, I'm really only thinking belly but when I think of a real wiggly little baby and crying and actual birth...anxiety sets in a bit. this is the first month we've actually been trying and i am sooo annoying myself. like early yesterday morning I was just sure I wasn't preggo and was kinda feeling bummed. then last night my boobs maybe seemed a bit sore so immediately i think, maybe I AM pregnant. it's ridiculous...

anyway, I'm debating about when to test. if I was still on my regular 28 day cycle, I could test today (i have the 4 days before period test) but if I'm on the 32 day cycle (like last month) then I shouldn't even think of testing for 4 more days. I have 2 tests...I'm 12 dpo. is it ridiculous to even be thinking of testing?

Thanks for the welcomes. I hope my stay is short and we all get together in the due dates club! I am not charting yet just trying extra hard around days 14-21.
It's so cool to be able to chat here. I haven't told my immediate family thet we're ttc. I had such a hard time with them phoning every day when my baby was due I could just imagine my MIL calling to see if AF was visiting
