How long did it take to show up? It looks like an evap to me.

nope, evaporation lines are colorless.

it's a positive.

i use those tests and the dye they use is really weak. my first 2 tests looked like that. and i was pregnant for real.

congratualtions!!

True, but if it didn't show until after 10 minutes, it could still be neg.

It looks grey, not pink. I'd wait 2 days and test again. Good luck

I use those tests too..and have gotten evaporation lines ALL THE TIME. I can't really tell on the picture what that is..but generally my rule is if I have to squint, hold it in certain light, roll the test around, or it looks different depending on the angle around, or otherwise manipulate looking at it other than just looking at it straight on..it is an evap line. Your line does look evap to me, because the look of it changes depending on how far or close to the computer screen I am..close up it looks kinda pinkish..but further away it definitely looks gray/colorless and seems to fade as I get further away from the screen.

If you go to www.peeonastick.com they have great advice about evaporation lines

It looks positive to me. It goes uniformly accross the stick horizontally. I would think the evap lines would go vertically as that is how the urine is sucked up them. I would go buy a digital and double check. I hate to wonder

It looks pink, but it totally depends on when it showed up. If it showed up within the 10 minutes, it's prolly pos. If it showed up after, it's prolly an evap line.

No an evaporation line is simply a line where the positive would have been if it were a positive. There is always SOMETHING there. Sometimes the way the urine dries, you can see a gray, colorless or ghost line where it would have been positive if the tester were pregnant.

Looks pink to me. : My second lines on my tests at 14-15 DPO were pretty faint. With that kind of test I got a nice dark positive at 17 DPO. Link to pics in my sig.

I've never had an evap line that would show up in a photo. If you take another test in a few days it should be much darker. Or, alternately, try with another brand. Congrats!

Happily parenting our snuggly wild child since 2007 and her little brother since 2011!

That looks positive to me. My first tests with both my girls were so faint I had to squint and hold them up to the light, etc. But they were both real! Did you try a different test yet?

Well I have a evap line that looked just like that a few months back. It showed up pink and everything and I wasn't pregnant. It about drove me nutty. Try to test in a few days with a different brand.
