Today is CD2 and the thermometer is broken already. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm going to exchange it today for a new one. This is my first month of charting, so I'm wondering how this will effect the outcome. Any thoughts?

Another question, my alarm clock is my 2 year old ds. He sleeps in the same room and wakes between 7 and 8 each morning. Is this okay for charting or should I set my alarm for 6 and then go back to sleep? I would prefer not to set an alarm b/c I would hate to wake DS, but I want to have accurate results.

Thanks so much.

I would not worry about the thermometer at all - it shouldn't affect your outcome at all, especially since it's so early in your cycle.

I also definitely wouldn't set my alarm for 6!! Temping within an hour each morning should be fine
