I am new to charting, but find it unnerving that my BBT has been between 98.2 and 98.3 during AF. Does anyone know why this may be happening? I am taking the temp at the same time each morning without even talking before doing so. Do some pople just have higher temps naturally?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

CD1 - 98.3
CD2 - broken thermometer
CD3 - 98.2
CD4 - 98.2
CD5 - 98.0
CD6 - 97.9

Often it's a resideual effect of progesterone from the luteal phase of your cycle.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if that's a big deal? I'm just so scared that something might not be *right* with me.

If your having a temp rise at O time and it stays high for about 2 weeks before AF then the extra days of high temps during AF aren't a problem. I assume that the temps drop back down for at least a week or more before O right??

This is my first month charting, so I don't know what will happen. I think I need to relax and give it a full cycle before I start getting so worked up. It's hard not to worry though. At the end of the month, do you think you could give my chart a look-see and let me know what you think? I would certianly appreciate any help I could get.

Thanks again.

sure no problem if you want you can pm it to me (if you don't want to post it)

Since it's your first month charting I wouldn't worry about the temp numbers, or assume they are too high during AF (can't compare them to anything yet). Everyone is different, these may be normal temps for you??
