OK - a funny little secret! For many years, I was quite regular. If I was late, it was for a good reason (my 3 children). Now, my periods seems a little out of whack! I am late a fair bit - hence I run out and buy a pregnancy test! It is not inconcievable I could be preggo - we use withdrawal only as our method (which we both know is not too reliable).

In any event, I have become tired of buying preg. tests, and have taken to re-using them. I figure if I ever get a solid "positive line" - I would retest with a new one. Are used pregnancy tests at all accurate? (p.s. I know the manufacturer says they are one use only- but I figure they are in it for the money and not an objective source!)

HPTs use a dye and a reagent and once it's used it's used.
