What do you guys know about this stuff? I was just reading the boards at FertilityFriend and it seems that a lot of folks over there swear by the stuff. They say it gives them lots of good fertile quality cm and makes them ovulate earlier. I had never heard of it before.

Anybody have any experiences with it?

Hey, Chrissy, i don't really know too much about it, but I know it contains Black Cohosh. That's an herb that just scares be a bit. I think it's so powerful, it should probably be taken under the supervision of a midwife or herbalist or someone who REALLY knows a lot about it. Also, I think my mother was looking into that for menopause. She decided not to take it though -- because of the black cohosh.

I'll keep checking back. It would be great to learn more about it. Also, I really do swear by the Female Formula. Cohosh-free, too. http://www.zand.com/products/index.php/4_38.html Sorry, if you're tired of hearing about it. It's just when I went off the pill a few years ago, I didn't have a period for a long time. Female Formula was the only thing that worked for me. I used this and it kickstarted me. I had periods again, I ovulated again, I was in rhythm with my body again. This time it seems to have done the trick, too. If it worked half as well for you as it did for me, you'd be all set! But, that's just my experience.

I'd be interested to hear other's stories of Pinkham. FF really says so many good things about it.

Best wishes.

Spark and her four firecrackers.

I used to work at a historical society and we had lots of ads for LP from 100 years ago. It's not a new thing. I had no idea they still made it. I think it does have some cohosh in it, also other herbs. I am not certain, as I don't have the info in front of me, but the "old" version I am familiar with had a high alcohol content. I don't believe the current version has this any longer, but it did "seem" to help with some "women's ills". lol. I did a search and found it contains, "7 natural medicinal herbs traditionally found to be beneficial in menstrual and menopausal distress. In addition, it provides iron, calcium and vitamins C and E to promote general well-being and health."
