I'm getting so frustrated with ttc! I feel like I have just been WAITING and WAITING to get pg - meanwhile, since I know I'm "Going to get pregnant anyway", I've let myself go a bit and gained some weight that I'm NOT happy with! So, I decided I'm just going to do it, lose 15-20 pounds! I'm hoping it will take my mind off ttc a bit, and hopefully I'll be one of those people who get pg when on a diet and/or losing weight! I figure this way, I have *something* to look forward to - either being pg (and of course going off diet) or able to fit into my shorts and feel good!

Anyone else feel this way?

So with you on that one.

If I am not pg this cycle, I am taking a couple of months off and losing this unfortunate amount of weight I have put on.

I figure then at least I can wear low rise jeans and be okay with it!

I hear ya! When I starting ttc with #1, I read stupid what to expect book, and started eating for 2. Well, it took 9 months to get pg and I gained like 30 lbs! I am doing WW right now, figure I'll get pg when I get pg. and skinny in summer, what a refreshing idea!!!

I actually was on WW throughout my first pregnancy. I was eating better than I had ever been in my life, and was gaining a good amount for the baby, so everybody was happy! I was down to my pre-pregnancy weight within two weeks of giving birth. I imagine I actually lost some of the fat while I was pregnant, while still gaining for the baby. I've not been so disciplined this time around, though. But, on the plus side, I have been exercising a lot more, so I'm in much better shape!

Good luck!

I'm with you on that too Jody. Last couple of months I have been eating much healthier and getting good exercise. Either way , pregnant or slim sometime in the future. Hopefully pregnant, then slim.

Mama to 12, and 9 and 3.

I am so with all of you. I have been struggling so hard to loose my belly it is taking forever. I just love the lowrise jeans but they are not so appealing when you have this wod of fat hanging over them I am also focusing on getting in better shape and trying to take my mind off ttc for now. But boy do I want another baby
