Checking in! 7 dpo and still no AF! Let's hope that's a good sign of things to come. We are going to put effort into TTC next cycle (since July is a good month for a babe around here) and I think a longer LP is on the horizon.

Good luck! I would also love a July or August Baby. My first birth was a homebirth. LOVED IT! I highly suggest investnig in a birth tub rental. It was heaven. :

that's a great improvement shell_ell! I asked you on the mothering tree whether or not you are using any kind of supplements, and didn't check to see if you are. I took b6 for my lpd when ttc dd, and it didn't help. Now i'm using vitex.

Cheryl, (naturegirl) thanks... my midwife has a tub she uses, but we've seriously thought about renting our own so that we can labor without her longer. We'll see.

Jill, I didn't realize you were the same person. LOL! No, I'm not using supplements. I tried the B6 for a while then decided just to let my body take over, and trust that. DS's sleeping habits have drastically changed now, so as he's sleep longer stretches and thus nursed less at night. Unlike you, I don't have a history of LP problems, so I think it's more or less an extension on natural infertility. (But just as frustrating. )

i'm sure it is! Maybe with riley sleeping longer things will pick up!

naturegirl: I wish our midwives would have let us rent a tub! They were kind of weird about it... Not that i would have had time to use it! Dd was born in three hours.

Psssst....Shell_Ell ... you know me too (from TMT)! (shhhh! ) Sending ~*~*~*~long luteal phase~*~*~*~ vibes your way!

Jill...you can change my ds to 12 months if you'd like. Good luck with the in-laws!

You know...I really should pay attention to what cd I'm on ... I should be keeping track of these things now, huh? I think severe lack of sleep (sick kids) has reduced the number of my functioning brain cells to next to nothing!

Yeah ksmama : :

Looks like it's cd 1 today or tomorrow for me. 58 days and no O and just started to spot, so another anovulatory cycle for me. : I knew something was going on hormonally because the last 3 days I've had the feeling of wanting to smack my dh or jump him. : I've had very little patience with dd too. I've also had lovely night sweats, depression, and acne. My dh suspected AF was coming too, but was too afraid to say anything. :

I don't think I've been having milk supply issues the last few days, but that could be because it's an anovulatory AF. I do notice I'm getting the aversion to nursing feeling I always seem to have before an AF. :

I went right from AF to AF I guess...I had an early mc last cycle, the bleeding stopped on the 8th, and then started up again as (I'm guessing) an anov AF on the 24th. So I'm really confused about what my body is doing.

I'm hoping that maybe once this AF is over my body will be on track fro a while and we'll be able to catch an eggie. On of my close friends is newly pregnant (due the last week of May) and I hate feeling jealous! We actually started trying at about the same time (9 cycles now) so it's doubly hard.

Hi!

I had joined this group a couple of months ago (my name is still on the 2ww list :-), but had to take a break because I was getting too stressed with the whole TTC with a wacky cycle thing.

Anyway, I'm back. I'm on cd 33 and still no o. This is my third-ish pp cycle.
Dd is 13 months old, and still nurses many many times during the day, and probably a couple of times during the night.

Can I pretty please be moved to "waiting to O"? Many thanks

Hi, I'd like to join your ranks. I'm still waiting for my period here, with a 19 mo dd. My dh is 42 and we're really wanting #2 as soon as possible. I think I am going to get pro-active about it now and try to have 5 hour breaks from nursing during the night. I forsee some sleepless nights in my future.... Wish me luck!

zak and wombatclay...

SO sorry to hear about your miscarriages - and hoping you caught the eggie this cycle! I got pg 3 weeks after having m/c and my sister did as well.

Why is time creeping by so slowly??? Oh, yeah...I'm waiting to O and ttc and keeping track of every day of my cycle....:

Jill...I bet it's just the lack of sleep that threw your temp off - I'd say, if you get decent sleep the next two nights and get higher temps both mornings to disregard last night's temp.

Can someone remind me how long you have af for in a normal cycle? I'm on cd 5 and still going... Maybe I don't remember because I've spent more months without af than with in the past decade! :

I'm on day 6 and still going, too... I'm really hoping to have a "normal" cycle on this first one, and I think normal in the past for me was 5-6 days of AF. Waiting to o!!

mama_nym, thanks for cheering me up. CHECK TMT! SHE WALKED!
oh, and my af is usually around 5 or 6 days. Since it's your first, it could be longer.

mama_nym- My AF is usually 7 days, normal cycle or not.

Thanks Jill This time AF seems especially bad. A combination of dark chocolate, Rescue Remedy, and hot baths seems to be helping my mood thankfully.
I hope your temp goes back up. I also think the lack of sleep messed with your temp.

Oh and the downside of eating so much chocolate. I can't sleep

jillybeans...WAKE UP!!! What good is it if I'm stalking your chart and *I'm* awake and wondering and you haven't entered today's temp yet (most likely because it's a Sunday and you're snuggling in your nice cozy bed while I"m here with crazy kids who got me up eeeeaaaaarrrrrlllllly! (and you tell G that she's not allowed to walk yet...she's still a baby!!!)

Hi girls. I'm new to this part of mdc land. I am REALLY new to charting.....like a week new. But I'm pretty sure I o'd on the 13th and am now 19 dpo with temps recently around 98.2. I want to be prego but also wouldn't mind if I wasn't. I'm looking foward to charting! I'm sure it gets old though....so would rather be prego.

My cf's have been dry consistently (for the week I've been observing) but just yesterday have started to have creamyish fluid. Can this be a sign of something? I guess I'll test tomorrow am.

If nursing, is it less likely for us to have sore bbs? My only signs are really sleepy and peeing more frequently.

Thanks mamas

Sooooo....more confusion!

I've been spotting red/pink, not enough for a pad but consistently there for the past 5 days...though today it seems to have stopped. I had an early mc last cycle and am SO not getting my hopes up...especially when the spotting/bleeding started a few days ago.

However, I've been feeling really off and I had a HPT hanging around the bathroom. So I poas this morning expecting nothing...and got a really faint line within the 5 minute window.

So now I'm really REALLY confused! I don't want to tell Dh yet since the mc last cycle really hit him hard (harder than me I think because in a way I was just happy to see I was ovulating and that things were "working"...I was really upset but there was that silver lining for me which dh just didn't see at all) and since I have been spotting/bleeding for 5 days now and everything I've seen online says implantation bleeding only last 1-2 days and since maybe it's an evap line or a false positive from my mc or...well....I just don't want to hope.

? ? I think I need to sit my body down and have a nice firm chat over some decafe coffee.

I don't have any other hpt in the house and I don't want dh to know I'm buying one...so I may not be able to test again till Tuesday. Bleh. I just want to know one way or the other, you know?
