Still no O. I think. cm has basically dried up but temps haven't changed? Although I don't know how reliable they are with a night nursing toddler?

Subbing is subscribing to the thread. If you post, you get subscribed, so when there are new posts it will show up in your CP and if you choose to get email alerts you will get them.

Are you taking your temps after at least three hours of sleep each night? Even if your sleep is not regular, I've been told that is pretty reliable. I personally don't temp because my sleep is so irregular. I am an insomniac, so sometimes I don't fall asleep till morning and then wake with dd a couple hours later. Or I do my bulk of sleep in the middle of the day when dd isn't with me or had interrupted sleep the night before.

I have always had really heavy periods and they will sometimes freak me out when I'm sleeping. I can totally imagine having a birth dream and waking up thinking my water broke or something.

Happy Halloween

Mama Mia: My dd isn't 14 months anymore. She'll be 18 months on Nov. 3rd. I'm still waiting to O as usual.

My dd is almost nightweaned so maybe the change will help. I'm around cd 30 or so. Still hoping for an ovulatory cycle.

Thanks for the welcomes! Jillybeans- we have good taste!! Maybe we can do it again, how about this month? Does that work for you?

I usually have a 10 day LP, does that mean I can test on the 10th day or do I need to wait longer for a positive? It hasn't been that long since I've done this but I don't remember anything!!

Thanks for the explaination.

As far as temps. I usually take them around 7 or 8 am. I do not get 3 hours of sleep before that. But I do just roll over and nurse my boy. He usually wakes up around 5ish and then when he wakes again I take temp. and feed him at the same time. So I usually get 2-2.5 hours between those feedings but sometimes it isn't a real deep sleep. Kind of semi-conscious...I just can't make myself take that temp with the first nursing, just toooo tired.

Sarah: I would wait, and maybe look at supplements or progesterone to lengthen your lp. Ideally it should be over 12 days. 11 minimum. The embryo need time to implant and start production hcg to be detected. It isn't high enough, usually, by 10 dpo.

Mamma Mia, please either take me off of the success list for March 2006 or make a note that that pg miscarried. It's kind of hard to see that on there still.

I'm plugging away here. CD...somewhere in the middle. Didn't O until day 28 last cycle, so I'm not looking for anything yet.

I've lost 30 lbs and counting!

Kristen, happy wife to Jeremy; Mama to dd (2/04) and ds (8/07) and two miscarried babies (9/05 & 5/06). And beginning to believe a baby may really be coming this summer.

I think I'm in the 2ww.
Question: does anyone know if tender breasts may be a sign of pregnancy? It's pretty unconfortable when I nurse ds.
I think I'm starting to interpret everything as a sign of pregnancy...

Yes, tender breasts can be. They can also be a sign of AF, as I found out next month. I hope it's the former for you, but don't want you to get your hopes up too much and be crushed!

Happily married to my dh, mama to ds1 (01/2005), ds2 (07/2007)  and dd (07/2009).

Well....it's back to cd1 for me : I got af while trick-or-treating with the kids.

Please move me to waiting to o.

I just wish this nausea would go away - it's been 5 or 6 days now and it's really starting to tick me off! :

Too tired to write anything else....hoping dh gets home soon to help me carry sleeping children up to their beds! (They just kinda slept where they fell when we got home from t-o-ting! )

Well my temp shot up today but I am also : so who knows. If I did in fact O there was no bding going on recently so now I am waiting for . No chance for me this month. I guess there is always a "chance" but lets just say I am FULLY expecting this month.

Holy cow you ladies are fast! Can I be added to the list under "waiting" or whatever the first catagory is? DS is 9 months and we were planning on starting to ttc as soon as he turned 1 in january, but it seems like I will be traveling through Jan and part of Feb so we are really starting in March. I have had no ppaf yet so we'll see if it's back by then. AF returned at 12 months with ds 1 but I was working 3 8hr days by then so we had a big no nursing block, which I'm not having this time so we shall see what happens......I'm also still tandem nursing.

I need some feedback girls. I still haven't had a PPAF but since nightweaning six weeks ago I have had some great fertility signs like every week. I know my body is trying to ovulate but I'm not temping so I don't know what's going on. i have been having something like ovulation pain for a week now. It's mostly on the right side and the only reason I know it is my ovary is because when I was TTC with ds I took clomid and had very painful O pain in the same spot. I have been bloated and had a few sort of twingy cramps. Why would it be like this for a week and could it be a cyst? I've never had a cyst before but I would think those are painful. This isn't painful, it just feels like a pinching sensation and it's stronger at sometimes. I have also thought about ectopic PG, I've never had one of those so I don't know how that would feel either but I can't be ovulating for a week. If you have any suggestions or experience I would appreciate it.

Please move me to 2WW--I'm actually 10 dpo, but I've been so busy with our recent move to post. I'm dying to test, but I only have two pg strips left! Plus my temp kind of fell this morning. I can wait a few more days, right?

Good luck this month, mamas!

Hi all,
I'd like to join in. I have a 2yo dd and this month will be my first cycle TTC #2. I am cd1 today, so waiting to O! I charted October as a warm up and O'd cd18. I got my first PPAF 17 months PP and have been very regular since. (10 months ago) In fact, my last 5 cycles have been exactly 30 days each! Charting is challenging with a co-sleeping, nursing 2yo, but my chart looks surprisingly good for all the eratic temp times. I'm hoping this is a good sign!

I'm very excited, because we were going to only have one child. Then DH suddenly changed his mind! Now, I've got serious baby fever. My first baby was very intense and her babyhood very difficult, so I have not been ready before now.

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here. Will start TTC #2 soon. AF right now. I have no idea how to track my cycle. I had my first AF since ds was born last month and this is only my 2nd AF since. My last cycle was 44 days. How do you suppose I know what CD I'm on or what days I'm going to ovulate?

Thanks!!!

Hi everyone
Can I join in? I don't know much about TTC or how to track my cycle either, but we would like to have another dc.

I have a ds who is going to be 2 (on sat!!!) and he is still nursing very well. I've had AF back since he was about 16 or 17 months old, and it seems to be pretty regular (and it's going on right now). Also, I'm 39 years old and dh is 44. Anyway, that's where we are at. Ds is our first (although I am a birthmom of a dd who is 19 now).

So, hello everyone!

Cool! Many of us newbies are cycling together! Hopefully lots of August 2007 babies.

To those who have questions about your cycle:
The website fertilityfriend.com has lots of useful info. You can chart your cycle free too. I also read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." I think it's a good read just to be aware of what's going on with your body, even if you don't use FAM.

Good Luck everyone!
