When does temperature start to drop before AF shows here ugly head?

My understanding from TCOYF is the temp usually goes below the coverline the day of, or sometimes the day before, menstruation.

Remember, if it is just one day with a lower temp, and it's not below the coverline, that's just normal temp fluctuation.

I think this is another thing that varies by person. I still have a high temp ON the day I start AF, then it goes down over the course of the next 4-5 days. And I don't mean spotting either, I mean the real thing so there's no mistake
This is a bummer since I can't rely on high temps to mean possible good news.

For me it does go down on the day before I get af. So I do get some advanced warning and time to prepare myself :-(

I hope yours will stay up for 9mo though!!! :-)
