Crystal - if you're like me coming off of bc pills... well, let's just say if I ovulated this cycle it'll be the first "normal" cycle I've had. And no, no af. Still going to wait on testing though.

Crystal - I stopped taking them in November of last year (January is 13 months that we've been trying).

Ok, now my stomach is all anxious because I'm all anxious. Stupid temperature had to do something unexpected. I will not get m hopes up, I will not get my hopes up...

Teneal - I can't test today as I'm already at work (gotta love it - not! ) I still think I should wait until Friday to be sure though. What about everybody else? Should I test or wait?

Oh man, I'd leave and go to the nearest $ Tree tell them it was my lunch break. Altho every time I've gotten a + with a $ Tree test I always go out and by the more expensive brand and try again. Like FRER ro something like that. Ok, well I'm gonna say that everyone else will tell you to wait.....I'm just not that patient of a person I suppose. Can't wait to hear your news tho, keep us posted with every detail today....hehe

Tomorrow is a day past your longest LP right? A test should show a clear BFP by then if AF still hasn't shown. But it depends, do you want to know either way even if it's a BFN or do you want to live in the possibility until the possibility is gone on it's own? I kind of enjoyed living in the possibility which was why I decided I wouldn't test early anymore.

You don't have to get your hopes up, I have them up for you.

Details I can do... Leaving, I can't (I'm a teacher - we're not allowed to leave the building unless we get permission ahead of time and there's no way that I'm going to try and explain to my AP why I want to leave). It's 10 past 8, so I only have to be here until 3. I'm still convinced that af will show up.

Well, I'm glad that somebody has their hopes up (realistically, I think mine are too). I don't want to know, especially if it's a bfn but I also want to know. Who knew this was going to be such a difficult decision??

I don't really feel anything. I'm probably more thinking that it will. It's not like I've got cramps or anything... actually I have NO signs of anything. Which is very frustrating.

My cervix points kind of to the left. I can't feel the opening either.

Lately I've had some real pains on my scar from my hernia surgery. I had this surgery a year before DS was born so I'm sure it's not affecting fertility much but it makes me wonder. Why would I be getting these pains all of a sudden.

Oh Christy I know this waiting sucks but I'd wait and test in the am if it were me, fwiw. My fingers and toes are crossed for you. Any symptoms, can you tell?

Crystal - I teach high school. And my chem class just gave me the BEST present in the world - $50 gift certificate to a steak house. I love them (they almost made me cry!)

I'll consider testing in the am (ugh 5am... I hope I can coordinate myself enough to pull that off).

How's everybody else doing? Lily, Ity, Ocean, Stacymom?

Exciting, exciting, exciting! Christy's temp of course.

I think tomorrow or Friday a.m. would be great - gives you a little more time to feel like it is possible but a few days before Xmas (assuming your family celebrates it) to recover from disappointment if it is BFN or AF arrives. But keep us informed about how you're feeling in the mean time!

Stacy - hope you got the BD in...

Sorry I wasn't much luck as threadkeeper for everyone. :

Lily - sorry about the bfn.

Crystal - I can't keep my pee in the refrigerator at worK! For one I don't have a container to put in. For two it takes me an hour (about) to get home.

Sarah - I wouldn't worry about the "bad" luck. I think it was just bad timing.

Tenk - you make me laugh too!

Update... nothing. I had to pee pretty bad after my 2nd class (but I was also very bad and had a little coffee!). Otherwise I have no symptoms of anything except being a little hungry - I've been munching all day (another student brought me a Christmas/birthday present of this yummy concoction - bascially chex mix covered in peanut butter and then covered with powdered sugar), but otherwise nothing. I was a little crampy when I had to pee but I checked my cervix and nothing (kinda medium and still firm, no spotting). The crampiness is gone now, so maybe it was just cause I had to pee.

Christy!!!!! Test, woman, test! There's bfp's flying every which way on the One Thread, but none of them would make me as happy as you getting one! You just like keeping us all in suspense, don't you? My students are crazy this week- how are yours?

Lily, sorry! Hopefully nexy cycle won't involve a trip to the hospital!

DH got home late, late last night. When he called to tell me that his boss was taking him out to dinner for Christmas, I tol dhim he had to wake me up when he got home so we could gio. He couldn't believe what he was hearing from me! He said "The only reason this is ever happening is because you want to get pregnant!" My response? "Are you complaining?" He wasn't.

So yes, my friends, he woke me up at 11:30 last night, and afterwards I promptly went right back to sleep.

So I had a slight temp jump this morning. I'll have to wait a few more days to see what happens. I'm just not ready to give up on this cycle yet. I think if it shows a clear o pattern, I'll leave things alone and keep trying with supplements the next few cycles. But if this cycle turns out to be annovulatory, I may look towards talking to a Dr in the next few months. Ugh. That means I have to find an ob that I trust. Bah humbug.

Hey, anyone want to show pictures? It's fun to have faces with names. This is my current favorite of me with my girls. Abby is five and Ashlynn is 3 1/2.

All right, I have to at least go shower and get my kids dressed sometime before noon today. We're making what I hope will be our very last pre holiday Target shopping trip this morning. It will probably be a madhouse. :

Violin teaching, doula-ing Mom to Abby, (8) Ashlynn, (6) : and Max (11/13/08) Diagnosed with Metopic Craniosynostosis. First surgery 5/1/09, Second surgery March 2010.

Stacymom - thanks! My students are mostly ok. They keep asking me if we can have a party (and our principal has made it clear NO parties), but otherwise they're ok.

Ok, I'll cave. If af doesn't show today I'll test tomorrow am. I dunno if that's good or bad. Everybody cross your fingers for me!
