I want to try to lengthen my LP by taking B-6. How much extra should I be taking each day (I have 100 mg tablets)? I tried to do a search as I am sure this has been answered here before but "B-6" is not a long enough string to search. TIA!

That's a link to one woman's struggle with a shortened LP and her use of b-6

Chie, my pharmacy listing is on Nursing Mamas TTC. You can check it out. I'm not sure it's been 100% effective, but things are looking good so far. I'm on dpo 12. Let me know if you have any questions about my list.

Vitamin B6, pyrodoxine hydrocholoride, is a natural diuretic, and helps the liver metabolize your proteins much better. It will help alleviate hyperemesis gravidarum ( a fancy name for morning sickness), and keep your body functioning well through out your pregnancy.

So if you take it before being pregnant, be sure to keep taking it.

Also: the B vitamins all work together, so be careful of taking too much of one without all of them.

I also heard that B6 also helps you dream better/more at night.

"Doctors are men [persons] who prescribe medicines of which they know little, to cure [treat] diseases of which they know less, in human beings of whom they know nothing."

I've just been taking 1 b-6 pill, 100mg, a day along with my prenatal which also has b-6 in it. My LP has lengthened about two or three days.
