Fertility friend says I ovulated yesterday so I am 1dpo. Please move me to the 2ww.

I definately felt O yesterday. I went to Target yesterday morning with my friend and had horrible pains in my abdomen. I thought maybe my cyst had burst. I kept having to sit dwon because i was so sore. I was worried I wouldn't be able to have BD with DH that night since I was hurting so much but after a hour or so it started to feel better and by the time DH and I BD'd I felt fine. So I think the clomid just caused a painful O. I can't believe I am finally in the 2ww since we have been waiting to TTC since last May when DS turned 1. YEAH!!!

: Linda

Sharonann: for that

mommatsa

Jill- I hope this is the cycle for you:

I am so glad I O'd, I haven't been in the 2ww in over 2 yrs. One side affect I don't like of clomid is that my nipples are killing me and it hurts so much to nurse DS.

Good luck to everyone:

Hey ladies!

My Dh, DS and I just moved back to Colorado after being in Arizona for 6 months. We had no luck with TTC last year. WE are praying that this is going to be the year and the month for us! Woo-Hooo!

I will keep us all in my prayers!

I moved you

i think the BEST thing about this thread is it keeps me in check -- it keeps me for being me centered.

I want a new baby -- I ahve been TTC for a while, I am fustrated ....

but then i connect with all you other mommas -- adn I get so caught up in YOUR TTC and your stories -- it keeps me from being all ME -- I remember to pray not for me to get pg (a selfish pray if there was one) but for Jilly and Jen and everyone else.........and I have to remember my situation isn't that upsetting when i get so excited with Jen and her finally O-ing and so on --KWIM?

And then its not so much about me. And I can feel sorry for myself, but then I come here and find out you have been tryihg for 6 months and I want it to happen so badly for you!

That's what keeps me coming back!

sharon: good luck hon.

heatherB:ya, you're supposed to dtd earlier if you want a girl, BUT all it does is increase chances of a girl. I know so many people who have been dissapointed using this method to concieve a babe that is the "wrong" sex. Then I point out it brings chances up from like 50/50 to 60/40 or 70/30.

jen: YAY! Break out the martinelli's i had an awful time with O this time on clomid too. Hurt like crazy. Welcome to the 2ww!

So my temp was the same, which is good. It is the highest temp on my chart. 6dpo today, dd implanted at 8dpo, so i'm waitin waitin!

Aimee and HeatherB - Thanks for the BD talk... Dh said the other day, "I don't like to feel like we BD on a schedule." Good recommendations...

Okay, big dip yesterday, and huge rise today. I'm hoping it's implantation dip. My temp is the highest it's been this cycle today 98.7. I know it wasn't o yesterday because CM wasn't fertile. I think I'm 7DPO today and ovualted on CD20... I'm so hoping and praying... Anyway, it's exciting to see something going on with my chart no matter what it is...

If you'd like to take a look and offer your 2cents... I'd love to hear it...

Not good news here either...:

My results are back HCG was 172 at 21 DPO but they were at 93 at 10 dpo. so they haven't even doubled in 1 1/2 weeks. My prog. is only 12. I am going off the progesterone and now just have to wait for the m/c.

Sorry about the copy and pasting of this on the other threads. I just don't want to re-type this over and over...

Hey ladies! I'm in the 2ww, I think. 2dpo I believe

I MOVED. Just downstairs, LOTS more space, but also LOTS more $$$ so that sucks. We're pinched but doing okay I guess

Lots of BD this cycle so I'm hoping some spermies made it!

Went to see my m/w about pre-conception and possible progesterone check. She said to test 2 days prior to AF if not spotting and if BFP to call right away and she'll get me in for a b/t and a progesterone check and probably supplament there. Who knows

Naturegirl, I'm so sorry.

Thanks to everyone for the Happy BDays!

Aimee- we did BD on my BDay! AHAHH

Eastkygal- my DH is justhappy to BD whenever.. thank goodness. He feels like he is on a mission when we TTC !!!!

No O yet... check out my chart (in sig).

On Mon I went to a LLL meeting and before it really started I was chatting wtih the leader and mom that was there and mentioned that I was TTC and they flipped out on me.. They told me it was too soon that I should wait until DS is at least 18 months to try and made me feel like crap. I reminded htem that I had 1 PPAF that was 2 days and light, so who knows and they were like "oh you never know, you can get pregnant before you get PPAF" I was like "uh yeah.. that is what I WANTED!!!!!!!"

I have had similar experiences at LLL. It's disappointing when you feel like others are offering unsolicited advice AND judging you unfairly... I do agree with the sentiment that the children we already have need to be taken into account first when deciding on future babies, but who is to say that offering them a sibling close in age isn't a wonderful and lifelong gift??? I think a lot of it is jealousy (maybe their DH said no more children, maybe they have difficulty conceiving, and maybe they are just rude busybodies who want to impose their unwelcome ideas onto everyone else!) I can see saying something (kindly!) if a mom wanted to get PG at 3 or 4 mos pp, but your baby is a year old.

I struggle each day with this issue just for myself, the last thing I need is a guilt trip!

Let me just say that it is definitely not the place of a LLL leader to say something like that!

I do think that we all need to take our lo's needs into consideration though, and I can tell from the conversations I have had with all of you that you are! I know there are days when I feel like giving up ttc just because I know how much my lo needs me, and I can't imagine bringing a new, even needier baby into the mix. But I am close to my brother and I love that about our relationship...we do everything together and he is my best friend (okay, other than my dh and my mom, but you kwim).

Anyway, that was out of line!

Naturegirl- my heart is sad for your heart.

Re: LLL comment. Lately I have become so frustrated with how hurtful women, esp. mothers, can be to each other. All of the judgement out there is so not helpful to anyone. There are millions of ways to raise happy healthy children, creating a family and parenting is very difficult, everyone makes decisions based on their own circumstances and values...where is the support? Isn't LLL suppose to be about support? It just makes me sad. Sorry about the

That is one thing I really like about this tribe and my playgroup, everyone is so groovy, supportive and nonjudgemental. Thanks everyone.

J&J- Happy dpo!

Ugh, sorry for the negative LLL experience. Myself, my DH and I use protection (barrier method) during the first 12 months because I don't want to get pg before a year because I don't want James to have to wean early, kwim? As it turned out I got my 1st PPAF 2 weeks after James was 18 months. It worked out, although if I'd have known even with the meds that it was going to take so long (2 months activally trying, 6 months not preventing) I'd have TTC'ed a while ago!

MKHC ran into this same thig jsut recetly.

I am willing to bet at least one other momma here IS a LLL Learder -- I have JUST STARTED the process to become one -- and i have a looooong ways to go -- but

What I do know -- is that comments like the above are sriictly a NO - NO. A leader is supposed to offer information, facts, and not opinions and supposed to offer suggestions of ways to make things easy for the mom and baby, but are supposed to accepot -- without judgemtn -- whatever the mom wants to do.

An example I was given was a mom of a 2 mont old who wants to wean -- you have to be supportive. try to offer as much data as you can and see if you can help the mom solve the issue causeing her to wean or offer ideas she might not have thought of and offer her support -- but int he end you can't tell her not to, or that it is a bad idea, or anything else...and you then need to help her do it is the most gentel way possible.........

so really -- I know you did NOT do this -- but if you went to LLL asking for help cutting back, or groupig feedings (my goal that we are no closer to) or night weaning or whatever to encourge fertility......they should have been much more helpful.

I am sorry you ran into this -- but -- please don't be discouraged. you are looking out for your child -- and part of that is giving your DC a sib......
