I am the nursing mama of my almost 20 month old (I can't believe it!) baby boy. I have yet to get my first post-partum period. We are in the process of trying to nightwean (he nurses two times during the night and a couple more times during the day). I'm wondering what else has worked for folks trying to get their cycles to resume while still nursing.

Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone!

Cam, didn't want to let you hang out there forever. I'm a nursing mama without PPAF either. Joining the Nursing Mamas TTC helped get a lot of info. If you check the May, April versions, there is a lot about supplements. Seems like night weaning is the best.

Best wishes!

For me evening primrose oil did the trick, although I think flax seed oil might even be better. I didnt' know about that yet though when I used the epo. The epo made my 2 girl being born only 13mo apart.

Vitex could be another good one, but I have never tried with the purpose of getting my fertility back yet.

Is EPO okay to use while nursing?
