I have only had my cycle back for 4 months, we've been ttc for 3 of them and Leif is nursing to fall asleep only, about 3 times a day. Last month I had sore nipples during my 2ww, but then i got af. No I have them again...Does that mean anything, like maybe I am o-ing late?
I have been temping, but I am not that great at it yet, and am thinking about getting the opks for next cycle.
thanks for any suggestions
gabby
Gabby, I often have tender breasts or nipples the few days before AF. It's usually a PMS symptom for me, though I often also have tender nipples right around O as well. I agree that it could mean that you are Oing late and then having a very short luteal phase - are you temping? It might be worth a shot for the next couple of cycles just to see where your body is at, kwim?

She said the bleeding was just a sensitive cervix. Something that some women just have. She also thought it might be a little more pronounced when ttc because I am taking progesterone and could be having some breakthrough bleeding.

She is also consulting with a fertility specialist about my charts because she wants my lp to be longer. Ya, me too! : She kind of thinks I am worrying about nothing and that I got pregnant 6 months after first ppaf and it has only been about 3-4 months since so just to give it a little time, depending on how I feel about that of course. She said if I feel the need to do something urgently she could refer me to the specialist but if I don't feel that stressed about it, she really doesn't think I have to.

She really helped me to put things in perspective. Especially when she said that 3 of her births last month were with women in their 40's and one was her first baby. I have many reproductive years and my bean will come, eventually. But we will DTD tonight and keep our fingers crossed!
Woohoo Cheryl! I am so glad all went well for you, and hope you caught that egg!! I have some close friends who are going through IF (infertility) right now and I know what you mean about having it all put into perspective. It will happen when it is meant to.... but that doesn't mean we're not entitled to hope and then complain every month another cycle passes with a

Sarah, I only took it 2 cycles, but I really felt in my gut that I should stop taking it. I'm not sure why, but before I started to take it, my O date was back to pre-pg range, but once I started to take the B6, my O date for both cycles was pushed back 4-5 days. I know it isn't supposed to affect ovulation though. Anyway, I guess it's still wait and see what happens tomorrow.

I would consider discarding those 3 high temps seeing as you know they were due to fever - you can alway put a note on your chart so you remember why you discarded them, but once you've O'ed, I don't think it will have any affect on your CHs (crosshairs).

Yay elly! Go catch that egg!!!!

Now for me.... I am 7dpo and my temp dipped this morning. Not low enough imo (in my opinion) for the hypothetical implantation dip, and I was a little crampy this morning - TMI (too much info) but I guess sometimes when I need to have a BM (bowel movement) I can get pretty intense cervical pain/cramps ~ does that ever happen to anyone else? Then again, I am not the most regular person so I think that is probably why, as well as the angle and sensitivity of my cervix at certain times during my cycle...
Anyway, no more cramping since this morning and I am still desperately trying not to get my hopes up... though if my LP makes it another day without any spotting or AF, I most certainly cannot complain. But I am expecting to see spot tonight before bed or first thing in the morning

Oh I am sure I will still complain a little and feel There is no stopping that!

Gabby, my nipples are extra sensitive just before O also. I always want it to be pregnancy though. :

Go Go ellymay! Hope you catch that eggie!

zulu, a trip to London! Sounds fun. Hope it is a great trip and doesn't interfere with the babymaking! I hope you O soon. Those long cycles are no fun.

My temp went up this am so I definately think I O'd yesterday! WooHoo. My poor hubby is feeling like a sperm bank lately and it took some convincing to get him into the "mood". I actually gave up because I didn't want him to feel like it was just because I was ovulating. Needless to say the backing off really helped and the rest of the story is rated R...

So I am pretty sure you can move me to the 2ww also.

Hi!

I can't remember when I last posted...

Anyway, I think I o'd some time in the past week or so (I'm not charting this month). Can I be moved to 2ww? I do wish I could look at my chart and know what dpo I am... but it's sooo much more relaxed to not be charting No unnecessary, useless obsessing This month. I plan on replacing the battery in my therm if I'm not pg this month, or at least paying attention to CP and CM.

: for everybody in the 2ww!

CONGRATULATIONS on the bfp(s?)!

Ooo, ooo, I finally had my thyroid checked (since my temps are low, etc) and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It kinda sucks, but it's nice to know that I wasn't just making up the symptoms...

Talk to ya'll soon!

That is soooo funny

Sounds like you have a great chance this month!!!! :

I have a question for veteran tempers who cosleep/nightnurse:
Which affected your temps least....movement or timing? My temps are ALL OVER THE PLACE! Most mornings DH gets up right around 530 and does my temp then, but like this morning, DD woke @ 430 to nurse so I temped then and it was like 95.9! I never know when she's going to wake to nurse. Probably doesn't help that I go to bed @ like 1 or 130.

But, on a good note I'm having EWCM! I've never paid attention before and never thought I'd get so excited over CM: Too bad DH and DD are sound asleep in bed....maybe during tomorrows am nap.....

Also, when do you use OPK's? Now with first seeing EWCM or earlier?

I can't stop staring at my chart. I think maybe I might have O'd on day 25? I guess it is still too early to tell. I tend to have a stairstep pattern of rise and I often have a fallback rise. It seems sort of unlikely, but what do you guys think? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/c3975

Your circles are open so it looks like you have been taking your temps at differnet times which could be making them look like they are all over the place but it looks to me like you O'ed when ff says you did....Good Luck I sure hope you catch your eggy!

Hey Sharon, I'm a chart addict too. For me it's like looking at an abstract painting and trying to figure out what it all means. It's getting weirder every day. I can't make sense of it.

[QUOTE=Linzie2;8102767 My temps are ALL OVER THE PLACE! [/QUOTE]

i know that if you are having anovulatory cycles your temps are all over the place. that is how it is with me. unfortunately i have nothing normal to compare to for myself since i never temped pre pg.
i don't use opk's so i am no help there.
the one thing i have learned is that if you see ewcf go attack dh!! when i finally get some i will be so excited i will probably dance naked around the house, so i understand where you are coming from!!
good luck!

Thanks for your input, ellymay! I hope that you are right. We don't have a chance to conceive this cycle (because I guess you have to actually have sex in order for that to happen), but it is a step in the right direction considering I have only O'd one time this year.

Hey Jen,
It IS very addicting. One of the girls I work with brought her 6 mos old in today and it made me have total baby envy. This can't be good for my already established obsessing. It is only bound to get worse.

I don't think I agree with FF on your chart. It doesn't look like you O'd yet. You're still early tho, so I'm sure there it is still possible you will this cycle. BTW, I'm no expert, so don't take my word for it.

Bella I hope you get a few more days in for your lp. Or, perhaps a BFP in a few days!

I totally know what you mean Zulu, I have about 3 clients right now all due in September and it is sometimes hard not to be envious of their growing bellies. (I was due in Sept. with my m/c) I love to play with the little babies and can't wait for my own.

Welcome rmzbm to the 2ww! When is your predicted test date?

I had another high temp today so tomorrows should confirm O but I am 99% sure I O'd already anyway. If I make it...my ff suggested test date would be Tuesday, May 22nd! I will probably start the POAS marathon on the 20th though. :

I'm going to say it; Bah Humbug! Dh slept in, is making jokey insults (he thinks it's funny) and is in general making it a bad day. Add to that the UTI I have and the fact that my temps are all over the place and FF says that I know longer have a recognizable pattern. Urg, sorry for the vent.

Exterior temps don't have an influence on my basal temps do they? I wouldn't think so but dh suggested it, so I thought I'd ask.

Here's my wacky chart;
