Thanks Judy for hosting this thread!

I like to see a nice, new thread. I sure hope this month is as lucky as the last.

Nope. Kharen signed up to be June threadkeeper, but she became pregnant way before that.

Hello All-

I am trying this again! Thanks for directing me to the June thread.
My DH and I will start to TTC #1 at the end of June. I am a new member, and I am so glad I found the MDC, b/c I really wanted to surround myself with positive energy with other women who share "Mothering" ideals.

I look forward to meeting you all!
Cheers,
Rhon

AND....

Rhon

These women are the absolute best! While I do hope your time here is short and sweet, if you end up staying awhile you will be in excellent company. Good luck with your TTC journey (and welcome to your 30s!)

Wow, I am on a roll with posting today!

Anyway, I just started experiencing a burning sensation below my navel and on the right side--a pain I have never felt before. Anyone else experience this?

And, I signed up to be April threadkeeper and got a BFP before then too! (Maybe it will work again?)...

Aimee, no I haven't had that, but I'm still stalking your chart since we're total cycle buddies! And, our temps are pretty similar.

Rhon, Welcome! This is a great, supportive, understanding group of intelligent women. It's my pleasure to be in their company, and hope you also find a home here!

Kiya, I KNOW. Already the halfway mark of the year month! And summer solstice in a few weeks? Wow. This year is FAST.

Hugs to everyone!

Welcome Rhon!

The burning sensation went away (only lasted a minute or so) and then I got a similar feeling to mittelschmerz pain. Weird, right? Especially at 9DPO.

Yep Michelle, our cycles look quite similar. I will stalk yours and mine.

Here's looking to a lucky month!

Subbing!

Stephanie and Rhon!

Thanks for hosting Judy. Thanks Christina for hosting last month - boy you had some excitement with FOUR graduates! May the threadkeeper's luck be with you!

Michelle my first loss was a chemical pregnancy so I can't totally empathize with your loss, but I wanted to say I felt nervous the next cycle when I didn't take my doc's advice to avoid for one cycle. It's a strange conflicted feeling, where you're excited about the possibility of being preg again but scared of what might happen. I'm stalking and wishing you all the best!

Happy early birthday Kemi!

I can't believe it's June either! Holy cow, where did the time go? I really can't believe that I'm almost 1/2 way through pregnancy. I'm super excited b/c I scheduled my big 20 week ultrasound for June 8! I'll actually be almost 19 weeks but shhhhh. : I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl!

Dee, mommy to Miss M 11/07 and little Miss I 5/10/10!

Hello all,
Why does it feel so psychologically refreshing to start with a new thread? Thanks Judy! And welcome to Rhon and Stephanie who are new like me.
On my third cycle of charting and was so proud of last month only to grow more and more confused with this one.

Not nearly as bad as my DH as this is all new to him and he just thought he understood the regularity of it all. Do most of you keep your DH up to date on the ups and downs of it all? My husband is Japanese and I think he never in his wildest dreams thought he would be so aware of a woman's internal cycles!

Wrapping down the school year is bringing a sense of calm and looking forward to great summer plans in the US is exciting! Have people had success with charting and traveling. I am quite keen to try to keep it up...

Hey ladies! Happy June!

Christina - Thanks for hosting May - you did a great job! Thanks too for the houseblog info! I've never seen those sites before - I will definitely explore them! Weird about your AF... I'm sure everything's fine. Maybe your body is just regulating itself...

Michelle - holy cow you have a lot of fruits and veggies! Do you grow them for yourselves or do you sell them?

Rain - congratulations on your demotion! I know exactly what you mean about being a supervisor. It's the most challenging thing I've had to do in the last 5 years of my career. I'd be happy to have a break from it!

Welcome Rhon!

Aimee - Could it be implantation ????

Freya - I share most of my ttc and charting progress with DH. He seems interested. It's kinda put us on the same page with wanting a baby and having a common goal.

Me - just moving towards Oing next week. Started temping again this morning... My big news is we'll be booking our 10 day trip to Kauai tonight! Woo hoo!!! I can't wait! We'll be going June 9-19! Now THAT should help my 2ww go by faster!!

Hi to everyone! TGI almost F!

Happy Friday! June 1st. Wow. Amazing how the time seems to go by fast, well unless you are in the TWW! LOL.

My temp was up today, so I ovulated. :

Also, I ordered the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility from amazon last week and got it in on Wednesday--since so many people here had mentioned it. I am amazed. All these things I didn't know or understand about my body up until now. Why don't we get taught this when we are teenagers?!

So now that I have read the book, i'm going to try to start charting my CF, and maybe just maybe i'll gear myself up to actually check my cervix! LOL.

Oh, I noticed a few people put "subbing" in their posts--what does that mean?

Have a lovely Friday and a great weekend!

Love and hugs to all!

Hi,

May I join this group? I'm 30 and TTC. We have no live children, but had a miscarriage January 1st this year. I know nothing about the charting on this site, though I have been charting NFP for two years.

Dee I so laughed alound with your post? Did you mean to be "punny" (May, may?) because I DEFINITELY read it as punny and cracked myself up.

I am getting so excited for your u/s. I am going to go ahead and say boy for you. No real reason. I just "feel" boy. Of course I completely felt "girl" for myself (and it was SUCH a boy) so please don't hate me if she has girlie parts. My sex sensing wires may be crossed.

Freya - Good god no way did my DH know ANYTHING about my cycles or the intimate details of TTC. It was best if I just jumped him when the time was right and kept him completely in the dark. Otherwise he felt tremendous pressure to preform AND felt like I was just using him for his sperm. Now he is by no means stupid and he was clearly able to infer where I was in my cycle based on my behavior (and various female products that made apparences in the bathroom) but we never openly discussed specifics. It just worked much better for us that way. I was always a bit jealous of women who could share such things with their partners, because there were times when I felt ALL the responsibility and it was quite lonely (TG for this thread, right?!). But, on the other hand it was also nice because when I got AF I didn't have the same kind of pressure that I think other women do - I never felt like I "let him down" or anything. He kept a much more balanced "it will happen when it happens" attitude and never ever got his hopes wrapped up in a particular month.

Happy Friday ladies!

My breasts have been sore since the day after O, and this morning they were finally back to normal. So, I just figured that was it, probably BFN, right? Well, I was sitting here at my desk, totally obsessing again. During my lunch break, I decided to break out my pee stick (I bought another pack this morning on my way to work) and waste yet another one.

I got a faint BFP.

I am still sitting here in shock. I am totally going to test again as soon as I get home of course. I just keep thinking that that pee stick was defective.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.:

I just had to tell someone, so I thought it should be you guys!

Will keep you posted!

welcome rhon & melanie!

thanks for the new thread, judy. i hope this is a very lucky month...and it looks like aimee is starting it off...! :
what brand of test did you use?

i guess i have decided not to chart. a few years ago, i charted away hoping that my then partner would be the one to have a child with...but thankfully, that obviously never happened. i have bad charting memories - and yes, i know how silly that sounds.

judy - i also just received tcoyf...maybe that will cure my charting block.

happy weekend to all!

Melanie!

Okay, I just got home from work. I left early with a fake sickness. I think that it is okay to take a half-day on the day that could possible change your life, right?

Anyhoo, I just took another test. The first test was Clearblue Easy +/- and the one I just took is Clearblue Easy Digital. It says "Pregnant". Woohoo!!!!

I guess that means I cannot be August threadkeeper. I am sure someone wants to jump on that, because it seems the lucky thing to do!

BTW, how long will this test read "pregnant"? I would like to wrap it up as a anniversary present to my DH.

Oh, I hope this month has a record number of BFPs. to all!!!!

: Congrats Aimee!!!! :
: :

I don't think the "Pregnant" message lasts very long at all so take a picture if you want to keep it!!!

Nondigital tests will last awhile (I finally tossed mine after 14 weeks because they looked gross - but the BFP was still clearly visable)

Thanks so much everyone!!

I am very excited, but I am still have lingering doubts. I am just so afraid of everything that I have read about chemical pregnancies. I took this early, so I am hoping that it sticks! I am, by nature, a worry-wart, so this is normal for me.

I am patiently awaiting DH's return from work.

Awww, Michelle. I am happy we got to be cycle buddies for a while.

Thanks SarahJen! I just took a photo of the test.
