broken thermometer - Mothering Forums

my temp is still up... or at least i thiink it is my thermometer broke and af hasn't shown up yet.
my question is, do i get a new thermometer and start recording temps or do i just wait it out until af or a bfp shows up??

I would wait until AF or a BFP to start using the new thermometer. I switched BBT's midcycle during the winter and it really screwed the chart up. I had all these high temperatures and the issue was that I had a crappy thermometer. So I would wait until after I get an answer either way before using a new one. That's just my 2 cents. I hope that you don't need the thermometer anyway because of your BFP....
