thanks! your chart is looking quite lovely too!

well guys, i promised myself i wouldn't poas unless my temp was over 98.00, and it was 98.01! this is the longest my LP has lasted so far. how exciting! so i had to force myself back to sleep after temping at 6:30am, but i got up to poas around 8:45 since i just couldn't hold it any longer. at first the test looked like a BFN, but after about 5 min i took it to a window and noticed the faintest and squintiest of lines. so now, nearly 30 min later the line is there and easier to see, although it's incredibly faint and i'm now outside of the 10min "safety zone."

normally i would be the first to say, no it's a BFN, buuuutttt...my bff and i each used one of these tests last month, and when we got BFNs there wasn't a darned thing to squint at or imagine as a line. : not even hours later when i picked them out of the garbage to check one more time (i guess i can take the bag off now) so now i'm left wondering if this is really it, or if i happened to get a really screwy batch that has one dud and two good tests. arg. so i'm picking up a FRER later on. i'll use if my temp is still up tomorrow, and spend today wondering about what might be.

trick or treat indeed! i wanted the treat of a BFP, not this tricky ambiguous BF?

How exciting! I'll be thinking about you until I hear the results of the FRER! Wish I were a few more dpo so I could test too.

Thanks fir the virtual hugs. I haven't tested again, I thought I would wait a week and see what happens with my body, whether my temps are up or down, how I feel, etc.

Aly, did your bff have a spotting period or was she like really bleeding? Just curious.

Gillian, I agree - I feel better today than yesterday, and now I'm just concentrating on this cycle. Going to try to help the healthiest sperm meet the healthiest egg, yippee!

Wow, I just spent half an hour catching up with this thread. I haven't really had the heart to participate very much this cycle. We're still absolutely TTC, but obsessing about it before O never makes me feel good. Before O I'm still feeling the failure of the previous cycle - it's only after O that I feel hopeful.

Um, Wednesday Check-In, I guess.

Date: 10/31/07 (Happy Halloween!)
Cycle Day: cd 16, probably 1 dpo
Appointments: None
Symptoms: None. Last cycle I had very tender nipples at O time, and this cycle there's nothing. Last cycle I checked my cp every day, too, but then I had this light spotting that I mistook for implantation bleeding, and it was probably just my cervix being irritated by all the poking. This cycle I'm leaving it alone. I don't generally get ewcm, but last night my cm was abundant, creamy, and sticky. Not ideal, but about as good as it gets for me.
Testing: In previous cycles all my positive OPKs have been on cd 14. This cycle I got a negative on cd 14, but I don't think the conditions were great for the test. It was also my last OPK, and I didn't buy any more. So who knows.
Thoughts: I don't know. I'm frustrated. Previously, I'd be really hopeful right after O, and stay hopeful until a few days before AF was due. Then I'd keep just enough hope to be crushed when AF came, but really I would know that it hadn't worked. This time I'm pessimistic from the start. Maybe that will make a difference this time around.

Babydust to everyone, with an extra pinch for all of us in cycle six.

N,: Wife and Wannabe AP Mamma. 11/08. 9/09. Wishing for a , but wondering if I should.

OK, So I have a random question that I was kind of embarassed to ask since drinking while TTC is a nono. But we're all TTC family here, so I guess its OK :

So, this Saturday DH, BFF, BFFs BF and I went out to this crazy Halloween party at Ink, this really fun nightclub owned by Miami Ink. I promised myself before I went out that I would only have a drink or two and that would be it. Well, I kind of got caught up in the fun and hooplah of never going out, and DS being at MILs overnight.... and I ended up going wayyyy overboard. I woke up Sunday with the worst hangover I have had in my entire life, and everything that comes along with being hungover :Puke

I had promised myself to start OPKing on CD8, so I went ahead and did so. It came out as a half dark line/half faded line. The next morning, it was pretty much the same, but that afternoon it was light, yesterday morning and afternoon they were almost non exsistant. Buuuut then yesterday night and this morning, they are considerably darker.

So. My question is, the first dark ones did not come with any other real/noticeable symptoms only hypochondriac ones i created after seeing darkish lines. And the ones that are getting darker now are a lot closer to my normal O date of CD16. I'm thinking that maybe because I was so very dehydrated, that the LH in my urine was as concentrated as my urine itself. Does this make any sense? Or could my body have started to think about Oing, but decdided to back track since I was so sick? Am i going bananas? Overanalyzing?

Insight? I pretty much never want to drink again, EVER.

luna - I will be eagerly stalking your chart for crosshairs.

I am doing well in the last week of my 2ww. I think my chart looks really good but that doesn't mean much. I have terrible back pain which I haven't had since my last BFP but I am telling myself it is from working out....I don't want to reinforce my false hopes.
I agree, Paz, I am rooting for you!

Hehe. I am a chart stalker too. I'll have to check yours out!

If everything goes according to plan, it'll be spotting today and AF tomorrow.

My back hurts too... but so do my triceps and abs so I KNOW it's from working out!!

And, I always think fingersex too.

luna I'll be stalking your chart too!
Aww. I know how it feels. When I got my BFN last cycle I was like "just hurry up and start, you evil Aunt Flo!!!" : so I could get it over with and start anew. LMAO @:

Well, I am trying not to get my hopes up *too* much, but who am I kidding, I will probably obsess this 2WW again. I think it will be slightly easier to cope since I've been temping, however, because I will have ovulation pinpointed more accurately & be able to keep daily tabs rather than being completely in the dark and worrying over "symptoms".

Wednesday Check-In (stupid computer was acting up)

Date: HALLOWEEN
Cycle Day: CD 13, I'm pretty sure 1 DPO
Appointments: The 13th... a check up for post D&C
Symptoms: cramping a little
Testing: Never again am I using OPKs. To stressful and I didn't get a positive. I got an almost positive so I think I would have gotten a positive the night before had I tested. I didn't because up until 5pm they were negative.
Thoughts: I had so much sex, my cervix hurts We're taking tomorrow off.

slowtime We can be test buddies if you want? I plan to test on the 11th or 12th... how about you?

pazerific I hope it's a true BFP!!!

She bleed for real just not quite as heavy but DEF more then spotting. It happens to alot of women my sister was here when I wrote that last reply and she said she had a period after a BFP also...I would wait a few days and test again or go to the DR and get him to do a quantatative.

What kind of test did you use to get an early BFP? I am debating if I want to try to test tomorrow or not. Thanks!

Hi everyone!

Things have been really busy this week, so I haven't had a chance to post my check-in so here goes...

Name: Connie
Date: 11/1/2007 (ok, now we need a Nov TTC in your 20s)
Cycle Day: CD 25 (I'm thinking I ovulated on CD 23)
Appointments: Nope
Symptoms: I'm REALLY breaking out (but I also ran out of face wash and have been using some crappy brand until I get my normal stuff)
Testing: Not until Nov. 13-15th. I'm going to try and hold off until the 15th, that would put me @ CD 39 (2 days longer than last months cycle)
Thoughts: Well, I really hope that I ovulated on Monday, but only time will tell. I had a temp drop and some high temps after CD 16, but they didn't stay high, so we'll see if this temp drop is actually it.

Ok, now I'm off to read up and see how you ladies have been doing!

Life loving Mama, married to DH, Mama to DS1 , DS2 , missing our , and another boy born June!
