I was told that Dollar Tree has OPKs. Does anyone know if this is true before I make a special trip? I have had good luck with their pregnancy tests so I figured I would try them out and see if my luck continues. Right now I have OPKs from babycreation.com and they are making me nuts! : The control line is so faint that it is hard to compare a test line to it. : Thanks!

It appears they do actually have an OPK. I don't know about the quality but here's what I found on POAS.com

i think some carry the OPKs and some don't, but you could probably call them and ask before you drive out there.

Tara - Thanks for the website - I didn't think to check there.

pazerific - I always feel silly calling about that sort of thing I guess that would be my smarter option though before I start going to all the local $Trees looking for these tests.

i know what you mean! i hate the fact that they're individually packaged there because that's a lot of little boxes to buy. i made DH check out when i bought 4 HPTs there a month or two ago.

How much are they? Are they actually only a $ since it's Dollar Tree? I have one about 2 miles from my house so I figured I'd run over there before my aerobics class at noon. I'm thinking I want to check with an OPK this cycle since my 2 other cycles had such different O dates. I don't want to miss it!!!!

I would assume they are $1 but I don't know how many OPKs are in the $1 pack? Maybe someone who has used them will see this post and reply. I may run out at lunch time and check it out myself.

Well, just got back from Dollar Tree and mine doesn't have HPT's or OPK's! AT ALL! NONE. Oh well. I got Equate HPT's (WalMart) and Answer OPK (CVS). We'll see!

Bummer! I went at lunch and got some OPKs at $Tree - so we shall see what luck I have with them. I don't usually have much luck with OPKs but there is always a chance.

I put + because I couldn't tell if the lines matched! It looked good to me so I went with it. I woke DH up this morning for some lovin' and we went at it and then he couldn't get off! Ugh. I sure hope we can make it happen tonight and it's not too late. It's only CD11. I wasn't expecting O until at least tomorrow. We'll see.

i got pg using the dollar tree opk tests. my ob/gyn is the one who told me that the dollar tree carries them and the pg tests.
and don't worry about calling around for them, at my dollar tree they keep them up front near the registers because it's such a hot item!

Maybe that's why I couldn't find them! Maybe they're up by the registers! I was looking in the personal care items near things like deodorant and tampons. Oh well, next cycle maybe (pending we're not successful this time).

My $ Tree has OPKs--that's all I can find because they always sell out of HPTs immediately. Never used them, though.

Mine keeps them with the tampons. The first $Tree I went to only had the pregnancy tests and the OPK spot was empty. I found the OPKs at the second store. Must be a hot item! They are more expensive than the Online Cheapies but they definitely seem to work. Let's hope I get a BFP with them!

:
Not all Dollar Tree stores are the same. The one nearest me is always out of OPKs - there was ONE there for about a month and I bought it last cycle. I doubt they have restocked it, because they practically never do. : They nearly always have TONS of the pregnancy tests, though, unlike what mchalem said about her store.

And the Dollar General (different corp.) near me always has a spot for pregnancy tests with the price & name of the product, but they never have them in stock.
