Haha!! I asked the moderator to delete mine since I was late getting it up. I've been OOT all day at a wedding and forgot to post it before bed last night.

JohnsCeltic---I'm still happy to do the thread if you only took it because I didn't respond today. I don't want to put any extra stress on you, especially since you were just ThreadKeeper! Let me know.

On a positive note (read "I need to vent" for the negative), my temp finally made a huge jump today! It had been climbing but so slowly that it made me almost doubt if I'd O'd even though I really, really thought I had. YAY!

please add me to "ttc #1", i'm 21 and my name is rachel. thanks!

Hello Ladies,

I've been gone all week so I'm not sure what I missed.

If you remember, last week before I left I was about to ovulate. Well... I'm still 'about to ovulate'. : I have no idea what's going on with my body but this is the longest cycle I've had in a long time (I'm on CD 39). And, all the other long cycles I had were in the year after BC, so this one has no explanation. I did take 2 trips so I guess that's it. I just didn't realize my body was so sensitive to travel. FF is actually giving me dotted crosshairs for CD 31 but I KNOW I didn't ovulate.

Anyway, that's what's up with me. I hope everyone is doing well!

I was going to volunteer and you beat me to it. I'm okay with being threadkeeper, maybe we can split the month?

No, I don't want to take it from you if you want to do it. I just wanted to make sure you weren't doing it just because I was late! I didn't want to force it on you! Maybe I'll pick up next month.

i'm checking in again for this month! I think I'm about to o which would be very early and I'm thrilled about the possibility. maybe after 11 months post.bc my cycles are on the road to regularity?

Gillian, sorry about the travel delay. I'm sure that's it, I had the same happen to me two cycles in a row! hopefully it won't be an anovulatory one.

welcome new ladies!

Monday Check in:
Name: MMM
Date: Dec 3rd
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 10
Appointments: Acupuncture on Thursday and then again the following Thursday to aid implantation.
Symptoms if they apply: Nil
Testing: Will start OPK's on Thurs.
Thoughts:
I suspect that I had a chemical pregnancy last month.

I'm a bit concerned about my temps - I've just come back to charting again and find that my temps are VERY low. I'm dealing with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and my current levels indicate that I'm ok but the low body temp would suggest otherwise. Could this be a concern for TTC?

Monday Check in:
Name: Jennifer
Date: 12/3/07
Where are you at in your cycle: CD59 (3dpo I believe
Appointments: Follow up with Dr tomorrow
Symptoms if they apply: tingly boobs, strange cramping today
Testing: I'm going to hold out until at least the 11th and then as the dr for blood test
Thoughts: I think my body had decided to get on track. I believe vitex was the cause for my wacky cycle :, I've also noticed that the pains that were really worring me and caused me to go the dr have disappeared since I stopped taking vitex on CD46. I guess that is my bodys was to saying don't try to fix what isn't broken. I'm not getting my hopes up and fully expect AF to show sometime in the next week (I usually have a 12 lp), after 60+ days I'll be happy to see her.

Could someone tell me what is "triphastic". I have come across this comment refering to charts a few times, but always too long after the comment was made to ask about it. I just know it is something really obvious, but I just have to ask. TIA -R

Triphastic is when there is a second temp shift in your chart after O.

Thank you for that! So, does the second temp shift indicate pregnancy? implantation? Sorry if this seams dumb, just haven't come across this info yet. Maybe I should have taken the complimentary TTC course at FF. :

theoretically, it indicates pregnancy, but i've personally had triphasic charts and not been pregnant. i've heard that this is actually quite common...

Hey ladies. I could have sworn I was going to AF early or get some sort of spotting or something today b/c when I checked my cervix at one point this morning, it was soft and felt almost open again....nothing ever came of it except tons of creamy CM and now it's back to being around the middle and closed...who knows. I had this really cool moment a few nights ago at this drum circle and (not quite sure how you guys will react to this, please don't judge) I had taken a few seeds that contained LSA (the natural plant form of lsd) and I had this really open, amazing moment. I was talking aloud, as were many of the people around me, but since the drums were so overpowering, no one was really listening to eachother. I've always been a fan of the idea of spirit babies, and that night I decided I would talk to mine. I told him/her that we loved them so much already and couldn't wait to hold them, that I couldn't wait to feel them move inside of me, told them what an amazing dad they're going to have, and that we were ready whenever they were. I can only hope I was heard. After waking up the next morning and remembering this few minutes, I suddenly felt so much more at peace with us having a baby. I feel like I let go of a lot that night. It's a neat feeling. I don't really have anywhere else to share it (most people around here would think I was just some crazy druggie or something). Anyways I'll be 8dpo tomorrow, gonna try and hold out for another week but we'll see. This is a no-vitex cycle so I don't really know how long to expect it to be.

I'm a bit : since the last few cycles I've O'd on CD19 or CD20. Nothing particularly stressful or different. I just figured that's when I O'd. (Before that I was anovulatory due to stress for a few months, and before that I was not charting.) I was having a nice drawn out, but seemingly predictable, evolution of CM from dry through stricky and creamy and a good three days of EWCM.

Well, come CD9, out of friggin' NOWHERE I have EWCM. Again yesterday (CD10), and now this morning my temp is up more than .2º C! What the hey?? Not that I'm complaining, I mean, I'd LOVE to not have to wait so darn long to O, but I was totally not expecting this! :

Fortunately, DH is a good sport and doesn't mind some extra BDing.

I guess we'll see tomorrow if my temp is still up. :

Monday Check in:

Name: Anna
Date: Dec 3
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 26, 12DPO
Appointments: none
Symptoms if they apply: I have had a stomachache but honestly I think it may be a case of overindulgence! Slightly sore boobs but I'm beginning to think this is just common in my LP.
Testing: BFN at 11DPO and 10DPO. Will test again if AF does not come on Thurs or Fri. Friday I would be "late" so probably then.
Thoughts: I 100% do not think I am pregnant this cycle. I know I am being pessimistic but I trust my gut feeling. I feel silly for wasting 17.99 on a 3 pack of FRER! and wasting 2 of them... : oh well, if the 3rd is a BFP at any point in time, it will be worth 18 dollars. Strangely enough, although I used to be against temping, I am anxious for my next cycle to start, so I can begin doing just that! I have a feeling I O at a different time then I think, though I swear I don't and I think I will be one of those ladies who gets pregnant right away when temping. I hope anyway! :
Anxiously awaiting Thurs, so AF can arrive. It's a strange feeling to just know you're not pregnant this early. I really want to maximize my chances of conceiving these next couple cycles. I would love, love, love a fall baby!

Monday Check in:

Name: Laura
Date: 12/3
Where are you at in your cycle:CD 4
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: n/a
Testing: after Christmas
Thoughts: this is cycle 5 of ttc for me. I really got my hopes up last time, but I'm optimistic that we've got this system down by now. It'll be really nice to have Christmas wrapped up in all of this because I'll be really, really busy and distracted during my TWW. Also, I wasn't sure how I was going to handle announcing a pregnancy at Christmas anyway (if I'd gotten pregnant last cycle), because we are going to my aunt and uncle's house and they just lost a baby at birth (from known issues) a month ago. If get pregnant this cycle, I probably wouldn't tell anyone until mid-late January or even February.

Laura , wife to Jeremy : since 7-23-06. MFI caused by a Robertsonian translocation; starting DIUI cycle #5, this time with injectables. Trying to hang in there.
