So I've been trying to chart and although I've had 2 full periods before this cycle, fertile CM at the right time, my temps seem low to me. There's been a shift but my highest temp has been a 97. I'm wondering if this could be due to bfing and how bfing affects your bbt?

I found that, if I was ovulating, my temps were normal, while TTC- about 97.7 and below before O and 97.8 and up after, with pregnancy suspected when I got to 99. My second and third children were conceived while breastfeeding their 15-month-old older sibling.

I temped from 1 month PP to 18 months PP (when we finally got pg). Even when I started O'ing my temps were still only in the high 97's at the highest (pre-pg, or not nursing, they'd be in the 97's at the LOWEST and well into the 98's during my LP). I looked into PP hypothyroidism, but apparently it's common among some nursing moms to just have lower BBT's altogether.
