Hey, I figured that if it's actually possible it's a true positive, TTCers would love to know about the freaky breast milk- pee theory. So yeah. I am SO BORED today. I have to wonder though, what could possibly be in breastmilk that even diluted would cause a positive. I pee'd on one a while later and it was stark white negative.
Exactly why I shouldn't buy many tests...I would totally end up experimenting. I am bored too...pretty much everyday for 6 months now. I have been waiting on Canada Immigration for almost a year : I'm not allowed to work, so I have very little money, so I can't do anything fun that cost money. I finally got word the day before yesterday that I can now apply for a work permit and that takes 40 days to process. So in a little over a month I can get a JOB!!!!
And I've been accepted by immigration...I'm officially (almost) a landed immigrant!!!! Wooohooo. Now all I need is that BFP and this will be the best week ever! Contrary to what the CBC Radio told me last night...that this week has been deemed the most depressing week in a year.

Hi, I'm new to the board. Can you add me to the Waiting to O list. This is really my 3rd cycle TTC. But since I just signed up to MDC I'm going to count this as my 1st cycle and hope for the best :!

My DH just started working from home so it's sort of weird having him around all of the time. But he loves TTC. We even BDed after lunch because he was so happy AF was over. So even if I'm not blessed with a I know how lucky I am to have a DH with such a great attitude about the whole thing.

Alright, TMI. I'll be quiet now.

Has anyone ever heard of bibliomancy? It's when you ask a book (any book, usually the dictionary) a question, then close your eyes, flip through the pages, and stick your finger on a random word.

Yesterday I asked a self-help book I found in the bathroom if I was going to conceive this cycle. The word I landed on - no kidding - was "patient."

So does that mean, "Summer, be patient - you will see whether you have conceived at the end of the 2ww." or (noooo!!!!!!) "Be patient, Summer, for you will not conceive for 5 years." Or does it mean, "Summer, wtf are you doing using this weird trashy self-help book as a divination tool?!"

If my temp doesn't go up tomorrow, I expect I'll be on here soliciting opinions about why I got a positive OPK two days ago with no temp shift following it.

Try bibliomancy! A new low in obsession.

Dreams in digital- I like your magic 8 ball...

So I asked The Riverside Shakespeare the same question and it says..."further".

AAM-Yes, Invisible Nipples are my superpower!

So how many of us are testing tomorrow AM? 4?

Hhmmm...Breastmilk, when I have an extra test I'll have to try that .

I'm considering testing tomorrow, but only if my temp goes back up. Tomorrow will be 10 dpo.

I asked another book and got: "anticipation"

No kidding. Thanks, I knew that much.

I just did this and it said "ask again later". Does it mean in 11 days?

using bibliomancy, I get..."attend"

I think it's saying I should attend to my workouts and the kitchen instead of playing around online!

So if I take 'further'....It could mean 'you got further this cycle than last cycle'

Or possibly 'you'd get further in TTC if you lost some weight'

Using Bibliomancy I got... "Salon"
I'm thinking of testing Saturday...(cd 33) I should probably wait longer, but it will get it out of my system at least... I guess that means I should be moved to waiting to know although I'm not convinced I've actually O'd yet.

Maybe I'll just keep up with the bibliomancy to pass the time

Welcome aboard and no worries I have not met a lady here with a TMI limit yet! Do you have a chart we can link to?

I wanted to complement your attitude and so nice to see your DH shares it, sounds like you both are starting off really great!!!

have fun looking around all the diferent threads, you are sure to find a few places you feel right at home. A great browsing tool is to just click on the New Posts link (its in the shaded bar near the top of the page.) for the rest i encourage all forum users, this board and others, to search search search, everything have been asked before and the wealth of info available is amazing. Again welcome!!!

Well at 10 DPO I got the testing out of my system...BFN (I didn't even splurge and use an early detection). Still sore bb's, still sleepy, temp up this morning to the highest temp I've ever had.

Good news, Frog no blood yet and temps still up!!!!!

weeellll....BFN
I'm still staring at the test, waiting for the second line to show.

Boobs still sore, no blood, nipples still the prettiest pale purple!
I have a huge backache, but that's probably not important.

AND I couldn't find my thermometer this morning, I had to pee so bad I rushed to the bathroom right away to test. So I don't even know what my temp is. Bleh.

I love the direction in which this thread's gone!

Using bibliomancy - "outrage". WTF??

The magic 8 ball - "I doubt it".

Well that's just peachy!

Really though, I am pleasantly clueless. I'm approximately 10 dpo and have no obvious symptoms, though I *feel* like I'm peeing a lot. I've been having to get up at night to pee and I usually don't have to do that. Also, I've been really hungry and have had sore nipples since O day, as well as lots of creamy cm ever since I O'd.

So, who knows? I may cave and test on Saturday morning, at 12 dpo, but if I can I'd like to hang on and just wait for AF to show up.

Laura , wife to Jeremy : since 7-23-06. MFI caused by a Robertsonian translocation; starting DIUI cycle #5, this time with injectables. Trying to hang in there.

Please explain to me. Heteronormative??? What does that mean? Basically what I am imagining is turtle as a 1950's housewife complete with a girdle and a hoop skirt and perfectly done hair and make up. She greets you at the door every day with a martini and a cigar and asks you "How was your day dear?" as you walk into a perfectly clean house with super on the table. You know, like straight out of Pleasantville, except with lesbians.

By the way Frog, don't give up hope. I have been stalking your chart ever since the weird dream thread (yeah, I know, a weird chart stalker, but hey, you have it in your siggy, it is so hard to resist). I think it looks promising. And, those digital tests are not very sensitive, from what I have read, so it may take a few more days to get a positive. I just have a good feeling, oh and you would be due around my DD's third birthday, so that would be another good thing!!

I feel pretty good about it...I know you can't see all my signs since I'm not VIP member, but I had O pain from CD21-24, Fatigue CD22-23, and the classic chin pimple to accompany the +OPK so I think it's right. What interests me is that it is much less of a slow rise than my last chart. Last cycle I slowly climbed from 97.6 to 98.3 over 12 days. This time I get there in half the time. Today is the highest temp I've ever had...I hope that's a good thing and not an oncoming cold or something.

I question our BD timing though two days before O and my cm sucks.

Here's the wiki on heteronormativity but in the broadest sense, it's the assumption that the only normal sexual relations are those between a man and a woman and that each sex has "natural" roles in life. If you're a woman, you should do things like cook and keep the house in order.

Right now, turtle's home full time. She doesn't fit the heteronormative definition of "woman" other than that and the fact that she loves to cook, though when she first started calling herself my heteronormative retro dyke housewife, she didn't "look like a lesbian"--long straight blonde hair, make-up sometimes, traditionally beautiful. She would occasionally greet me at the end of the day in a dress and heels, and always with dinner made. Other than dinner being made, the rest of the ensemble was a joke.

Now, her head's shaved and she mostly wears carhart sweatshirts and men's pants while doing her housewifely tasks.

She also routinely tells me that if I don't start acting like a good Christian wife, she's going to call my priest.

We're nuts--I guess that's the short answer.
