This is my 1st time hosting a thread, so bear with me ladies...

Anyway I am cd30 of my 1st pp cycle & I am finally getting some sticky cm so I guess that is a step in the right direction. We won't actually ttc until probably June so until then I am just trying to get back in touch with my body & fertility signs. I never wake up at the same time, so I am not temping just listening to my body & useing a fertility saliva scope thing

Spring is comeing up this month. Spring is a time of fertilty. Hopefully we'll have lots of sucess stories as a result

Hi. I am still 2WW... No AF today and a BFN too, but I didn't get a BFP till AF was six days late when I was pregnant with DS so... I'm still holding out. I seem to have an awful lot of symptoms... and I feel like I am going insane over this CRAZY TTCing... I am soo emotional! OH and if you want you can can add DS 12/05 next to my name on the list. Thanks!

Wife since 2004. Mommy to DS (2005) and DD (2008) and my hopefully VBA2C baby DD due Feb 2012!

Thanks for the new thread!

Can I be moved to 2ww please?

I had decided if this cycle didn't end in a BFP that we would take a break. I"m not sure if that is still what I want or what . . . I guess we'll see at the end of the cycle.

I had an appt. with a specialist to get some preliminary testing done (hormonal, ultrasound to look for possible problems, etc) set for March 5. I got a call last week to tell me that I have been bumped due to scheduling problems to APRIL 29!!!! Yeesh, I am so frustrated. To get another referal and get in with another Dr would take 3+ months, so no point in looking for a different dr. Hopefully there is a cancellation and I can get in earlier . . .

I STILL have no EWCM. I can see that as normal when you have a smaller babe, but My ds is THREE! Shouldn't it be back by now?!? SO frustrating.

Amy, have you tried evening primrose oil to help increase ewcm? I hope your appointment with the specialist can be moved up.

Well, I got a temp drop this morning. Since this is my first cycle charting, I'm unsure. It looks like I might get my period today or tomorrow judging from other charts I've looked at. Does that seem right? That would be a really short cycle for me!

Thanks Hanny! How are you feeling? Good I hope
Yup, did that fairly early in this journey. Might be worth another shot, though.

Well, I guess I just started AF! This charting thing is the coolest thing ever! I have to say this is the shortest cycle I've ever had, but I guess my body is still wonky from whatever happened last cycle. I'm so grateful to be able to more fully know my body this way! I think a 12 day luteal phase is in the realm of "normal", right?

edited b/c I guess it's a 11 day luteal since this is day 1 of next cycle

Hi Ladies! On CD13 here and I expect to O any day now. Things I'm doing new this month: 100mg Vitamin B6 daily and I'll be using Preseed for the first time. My LP has been 11 days and my EWCM hasn't been very abundant lately. So we'll see.

Nice to see you Naturegirl and Hanany!! Hope you are feeling good!

Good Luck Ladies!!

I'm going to try Preseed this month, because of my scant EWCM. I don't know if it will help, but I'm giving it a shot. Have you ever tried it before? Just curious.

I'm trying pre-seed for the first time this month too. I've heard good stuff about it so here's hoping! I took b6 last month but I still didn't have much ewcm. Just a tiny bit one day. Does anyone know if you can take Vitex and EPO at the same time? I'm taking just Vitex right now.

hello nursing mamas TTC. I have been TTC for about 8 months now while nursing my 2.5 year old. And, I am 39 years old so no spring chicken. I know that you can get pregnant while BF, but I wonder what others experiences are? I hate the idea of weaning my son (who is here) for a potential child that isn't here (does that make sense?). Some days he nurses alot and other days he nurses alot for short periods and we still night nurse as needed, but usually at least once during the night. Thoughts ladies?

What is pre seed? :

I am cd31 of my 1st pp cycle. The last 2 days I've had sticky, stringy cm & quite a bit of ferning on my ovulation scope. Today no cm & very little ferning. I don't get it. Good thing we aren't really trying for a few months.

We I am on CD 6 of my 4th PP cycle and I am getting a bit worried. It took us 9 month with baby #1 but the others 2 that turned into babies and 2 that I lost at 13 and 9 weeks happened right away. I don't temp becuase I am awake too much with my nursing toddler to have it be right anyway but I feel like we have been DTD around the right time. so I don't understand why : keeps showing up.

I can't believe it's March! We went away for the weekend and so I missed the end of the Feb. thread. I would have said that I'm ready to be moved to success stories! Those sort-of shadowy "somethings" have turned into nice lines. EDD Nov 10. Feeling really good and wouldn't have suspected that anything was going on yet if it weren't for charting. The little things that I am feeling (light crampiness, tiredness, swollen lymph nodes) wouldn't set off any alarms by themselves.

Hey, Hollin! We were in the Jan 06 DDC together! Hurry up and get to the Nov 08 DDC so we can do it again, OK? Good to see you! If I remember correctly, you're quite petite, right? Maybe increasing body fat would put you over that estrogen threashhold to ovulated? Good luck!

attached2mason, I hope your appointment goes well - that's so frustrating that you have to wait, though!

Re: Pre-Seed/EWCM: Have you all considered real egg whites in place of EWCM? I conceived all three of my pgs with them. I heard about it in Taking Charge of Your Ferility and it's not nearly as tricky or weird as it sounds. And they're way cheaper than Pre-Seed.

Chic2Chic, Where are you?! We haven't heard from you since 11 dpo (or did I miss somehting?). You've got to know *something* by now, right? <Crossing my fingers>

Good luck, everyone!

just got back from a great weekend trip -- and AF showed up :

so, please move me back to waiting to O

i was really hopeful for this cycle, as it looked like we had timed things perfectly. (looks like i O'd when i thought i did, which is good to know, anyway)

on the bright side (since i always try to find one), my birthday's in a few days & i'll get to celebrate properly! also, i used to think that having such short cycles was a drag as AF seemed to be here all the time -- but hey, that just means i'll be O'ing any day now!

good luck to all the nursing mamas.

congrats because!!! I so hope I'll be due with you in November! I'm about the same weight as when I concieved Alden but yeah I am on the thin side and I'm wondering if my body just knows it can't handle nursing and pregnancy? I don't know.

It sounds like you could have a short LP, mama, but remember even when everything is "perfect", a couple still only has a 25% chance any given cycle, so hang in there. I charted although I was awake at random hours, I just set my alarm... surprisingly my temps were pretty steady, too.

Some days he nurses alot and other days he nurses alot for short periods and we still night nurse as needed, but usually at least once during the night. Thoughts ladies?
I'm 38 and nursing a 2 1/2 year old, so we're in the same boat. I'm right in the middle of our third cycle TTC, so it's a little too soon for me to be drawing any conclusions about how fertility and nursing will work with my own body. My son nurses only twice a day for a total of about 25 minutes, so that's different from your experience.

I am also committed to child-led weaning and mothering the child I actually have right now -- but I don't know if I would feel the same after eight cycles of trying, like yourself. I honestly think I would move toward weaning, at least starting with night weaning!

How are your cycles? Do you ovulate on a regular basis? Any "near misses" as far as pregnancy? Our first cycle TTC in December I had a chemical pregnancy, so at least I know something is working. (I'm assuming that having just one chemical doesn't mean something is actually wrong.)

This is a question that comes up over and over here. There is no easy answer. I wish you lots of luck and fertility!
