Thanks for the encouragement. Unfortunately, I'm out. Temp dropped and AF showed this AM. On to the next cycle!

Hi everyone. I am brand new to this website and brand new to this thread. I tried reading most of the posts so I can catch up. I had a miscarriage in March of 08 (due date would have been Sept 27, 2008). I just had my first real period last month so I am back on the saddle and am in my 2ww. According to FF I am 5DPO, but I have a feeling its more like 4. I don't have any symptoms, but really hope it worked! I temped and used a clearblue easy fertility monitor and I am pretty sure I actually ovulated on either Saturday night or Sunday. We BD'd every day from Thursday to Monday so I hope we caught the egg!

Olerica - I am so sorry to hear what happened to you.

Everyone who had BFP's this month - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Everyone who is in the AF club, I'm sorry. It's crazy how let down you feel when AF arrives.

My fear is that it is going to take us a long time to get pregnant again or that something is wrong with me after the miscarriage. We weren't even trying for the first one, we just were not being careful and it happened right away. I am just so nervous! If I am 5 DPO (according to FF) when should I test? I guess I'm still temping though so I figure if my temps do not drop after 15DPO I will test then, but I have an addiction to POAS even when they keep turning out negative. This is so frustrating!!!!

I hope you don't mind me joining so late!

Hi Michelle - welcome! You could always to a really early test and POAS on day 10...so that would still keep you in the July 2WW.

Anne

Well I'm 7 dpo today but couldn't stop myself from taking a Dollar Store test this morning. : It was BFN, of course - no surprise there. It was kind of fun just to do it though.

Since yesterday morning, I've been having big waves of nausea, though, so that's one item for the "probably" colum. And slightly more sensitive to smells and the sight of yucky things, which is highly unusual. But...I'm still not getting my hopes up too much.

I'm going to try to hold out til Monday to test again, but I don't know if I'll make it! Is anyone testing today?

I was SO tempted to test this morning but I was a good girl and resisted! I'm 10 DPO and my temp is still going up! The last two months I started seeing a gradual drop around 8/9 DPO so this is VERY exciting to see!!

Amy-Your symptoms sound promising!

I just got back from the doc. My iui was last Friday morning, (it seems so much longer) so this was the blood draw for the progesterone test. I asked her to call me with the results. They usually call only if you need a supplement.

I've getting a bit schizo about this whole thing during this last two weeks (Yes, I am/ No, I'm not). I want to know the number, dagnabbit!

I should know by 4pm. So. What number am I hoping / looking for? I've read so many different numbers on the net, I'm confused.

I'm 8dpo / 7dpiui. The nurse told me I can't / shouldn't test until the 31st.

Yea. That is going to happen.

Hi all! First things first - good luck to everyone! I hope you don't mind me joining so late but I thought I would get to know my 2ww sisters asap

With the help of opks I determined that I O'd on 7/14 so I'm 11dpo now. I guess I'll test on 7/28 (though I'm pretty sure I'll end up breaking down tomorrow! )

Funny you should post this. Just when I finished reading the sentence, I got the call from the doc.

The level is 6.7. It's low. They are going to have some progesterone supplements delivered tomorrow. Then I test on Friday. Positive, come in. Negative, try again later. Either way, stop taking them.

Sorry. Should have finished the thought.

Friday I take the HPT. If positive, don't take the morning dose, call and go into the doc for more bloodwork.

If negative, stop taking, let nature take it's course, and start planning the next round.

And I live East of Denton, in Anna.

Congratulations herins! Wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months and beyond with your little bean!:

It's early in the AM here on 10DPO and I forced my self to pee as soon as I woke up so I wouldn't be tempted to POAS! No sore bbs, no increased fatigue, no symptoms...I had lots of symptoms with DS but I keep telling myself that every pregnancy is different.

Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations herins!!!

So, I got a VFP (very faint positive) today. It's only day 8, so I know it is totally inconclusive. But I didn't have to tip it at a weird angle, or hold it up to a window or anything. And I actually tested yesterday too, and didn't see a line at all. I know it's way too early to be sure, but it's kind of fun.

Here's a pic. It actually doesn't show up in the pic as well as you can see it in real life, FYI.

I can definitely see that second line!!! Hope that line keeps getting darker!!:

AAM Af showed up in full force yesterday. Should I count my period as having started on thursday when I started spotting?? Or friday when it got a little heavier?? Usually it doesn't matter, but I have to start taking Femara on CD 3 (either today or tomorrow-not sure which to pick!!) Scheduled my lap for thursday... really nervous. I get a little bit hysterical after anesthesia... crying and carrying on. I am having surgery @ the hospital I work @, and am going to be so embarrassed if someone I know sees me acting like a fool!! (I have had surgery 3 times... and have done this all 3 times- so I KNOW its going to happen!!) I told my husband if my Dr sees me acting like a crazy person he is going to think I am not stable enough to have another baby!!
lol

I actually asked my RE about this. According to him, you start on the first day of normal flow, which would be Friday from what you said.

I personally think it depends on whether you can get by with a liner, or if you have to bring out the big guns.

Yep - according to Taking Charge of Your Fertility, CD1 is the first day that you have regular flow (not spotting).

As for worrying about how you act after surgery, I would not feel self-conscious about it! I'm sure the recovery nurses, and doctors, see that all the time. I've only been under anesthesia twice, but I was crying hysterically after both, too.
