I am 17 dpo and spotted a bit but no period yet. When I was cramping a bit and saw the blood, I was sure AF had started. This has never happened to me before, AF has always come within hours of seeing anything reddish.
My chart, I think, looked very good, triphasic and a possible implantation dip, but I tested negative 14 dpo, with a very sensitive test. According to the test, it was 99% on that day that the test was right.
I know this is one of those "must wait and see things" but I would still like to know how long the luteal phase can possibly be.
The only other thing I can think of that would prolong your luteal phase is if something's going wonky with your body, like endometriosis.

No, ovulation seemed quite clearly to be where FF placed it. However, I realize that nothing really tells us when exactly it took place, so in that sense it is possible. You know, that it takes place around when the temps go up, but no one can say for sure. I would think, though, that this is understood in the rules about luteal phase and such.
Good luck and I really hope that you're just one of those women who get late BFP's!
Heather8: that sucks. I've always heard that 18 days was as good as BFP too.
Anumaria: any updates?
I'm crunchy... Like a Dorito.
