Pepper- You can use FMU to get the best results. However, I always test again in the afternoon after holding my urine for 4 hours and limit my fluid intake.

Kayda- Just to let you know, with my last pregnancy the only symptom I had was a yellow discharge. As a matter of fact, I told a close friend I don't have any symptoms except the discharge. Sure enough I was pregnant. A lack of symptoms doesn't mean a thing.

Jaci- This is my first month on clomid. However, it wasnt ovary pain after bd but pain from being dry. It was like having an internal rug burn. It hurt for about 3 hours. I had ovary pain before normally around o but this was just raw. Also, you can ovulate even if you go off clomid because it builds up in your blood. Likewise, the first month on clomid may not produce results until the second month. At least that is what I have researched on the net. Did you get pregnant on the clomid or was it when you went off the clomid? My opk was negative today which it is normally positive around cd9-10. So I guess clomid is going to delay ovulation. Also, did you use preseed or eggwhites as a lubricant. What if my mucus is hostile. I tell you you take a pill to fix one thing and it breaks another. Go figure. This whole thing is making me crazy. I am sure you know what I mean. What dose did you take. I am on 100mg. Like I said before I don't have any side effects as of yet which leads me to believe I don't have much of a build up. I am going to do another opk in about 30 min. This morning's opk was a smidge darker than yesterday's but as you know that may not mean a thing.

Can I ask you ladies to take a look at my chart? FF gave me an ovulation date of CD 15 (which I agree on, to an extent). DH and I did not have sex that day, mostly because he was too sore (heh). I totally do not begrudge him that.

Do you think we still have a chance to get pregnant? Part of me thinks I actually O-ed on the night of CD 14, because I had some major cramps (which I wrote about upthread) in my pelvis that night. We did have sex that night.

I know I'm obsessing, but I need reassurance right about now.

As far as symptoms go, I have lightly achey breasts and some minor cramps, but my breasts always ache after O-AF, so it could be nothing.

Oh and can I be added to TEST on th 5th of August? I probably won't wait that long...

Tried Preseed for the first time this weekend. I started out using half one time, then most of it the next time- no leakage during. DH said he liked it. lol. Its just a little unromantic shooting it up there beforehand. It worked great with the instead cups- so add that to your arsenal. I got mine at Walmart, fairly inexpensive and have been using them for a few months. Maybe the combo will be the magic potion I need this time!

Did you have sex a day before ovulation? A few days before? The day after?

Sperm can live up to five days (on the high end, three days is norm) if you have good EWCM... and the eggy can last up to 24 hours. You don't have to actually have sex on ovulation day to get pregnant.

2in09, have fun with the birthday bash! I'm sure it's stressful to have to organize it all, but you and your little one are lucky to have so much family close by! Hope it takes your mind off the ongoing ickiness.

Alicewyf, I think your timing was actually really good. The swimmers probably had just enough time to get where they needed to be before ovulation. :

Scoobers, my cycle is weird this time too, I have no idea why. Sometimes the female body is just too mysterious. :

You have a huge chance!! Those swimmers were already up there waiting for that egg to pop out!

So, I took a test.. I know I was going to wait until the 1st but everyone kept pressuring me, because I was already late and all. So... here is my pic..

What do you think?

http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=ixbbqv&s=4

The line showed up in less than a minute, but it is so light.. and isn't it in the wrong spot? Shouldn't the dark one be where the light one is.. and vice versa.

Carol- I would say that is a bfp. Perhaps the FRER people put the strip in backwards and the quality control did not catch it. I say take another one and then jump for joy.:

It's an Answer test.. and I was thinking that too.. But then I found this online from someone who was asking the same questions as me. (Why is the test line so much darker than the control line?)

Quote:
This just means you have A LOT of HCG in your urine. Human chorionic gonadotropin is what you develope in your system once you become pregnant. This is what the pregnancy test is aimed at detecting. This is very normal, and a very good sign! It means your HCG is very high and the test line is just over powered by it, using up all the ink from the control line.

Go here: http://www.twoweekwait.com/peesticks/ind...

You'll see a lot of women take a new pregnancy test everyday, and everyday their test line gets darker. It just means your HCG is doubling as it should. Totally normal.
I am going to retest in the a.m.

2in09 I'm so sorry..... I was out of town, and came back late last night. I just got somewhat caught up on what's been going on here.

I'm finally temping, but I didn't have a single night of full sleep on my vacation, so who knows if my temps will correctly predict the O, however according to dates it should happen sometime around the 7-10th.

Please go ahead and add me to the list of waiting to O.

hugs 2in09, you're in my thoughts!

Is that our first BFP!!?

Congratulations, Carol!

For me, this is the fun part of the month. Just a few days to go before I O. Watching for The Signs, having lots of Alone Time with DH. There's not much pressure, you just have to make sure that there's always some spermies swimming around near the ovaries.

Then you get crosshairs - hooray!

Then you begin to watch as other women report their test results - hooray for BFPs! :

Then you start counting your DPOs, unbelieving that time can actually crawl by at such a slow pace - no way, only 6DPO?, surely I am at 10DPO today!? :

It's all very exciting.

Warm wishes to all you gals!!

Carol That looks like a BFP to me:

Kriket I have had that TMI problem with UTI's it sucks. I'm glad we're both feeling better.

I already posted this in another thread, but want to see what you ladies think as well!!

Hi Everyone! I have been hesitant to talk too much about all this TTC as I'm afraid to "jinx" myself, but I realize how foolish that is, so here goes!! I had a miscarriage in March and FINALLY had my first AF last month so this is our first real official month TTC after the miscarriage. We dtd every day for 5 straight days leading up to and a day after when I O'd. So, we did everything right in my book, I just hope it worked! I did start feeling sore nipples on Saturday which makes me feel pretty good because I knew I was pregnant or at least could be pregnant when my nipples were sore a week before AF was due which is abnormal. I have been having little twinges as well in my abdomen/pelvis area. Just little pains and sometimes aches. I'm also so thirsty lately. I drink a lot of water naturally and am not sure if I'm peeing anymore than normal except I have been waking up every night around 3 or 4 having to go really bad and then again when I wake up for the day which isnt always the norm. Also, I have a TMI question to ask. I remember reading and confirming that your vagina/cervix turns blue/purple during pregnancy so I decided to check that out and w/o saying too much I definitely see some blue. Wouldn't it be too early to see that though? FF said I O'd on July 19 making me 10 DPO today, but my monitor said it was the next day. So I'm either 9 or 10 DPO today. I can't help myself and have taken a couple of tests already and they were negative, but I am pretty confident that I'm too early. During my last pregnancy I didn't test postive until 6 days after my nipples started feeling sore (which I think must be when the hormone starts being produced). So anyway, sorry for the lengthy post and I'm going to DO MY BEST to wait until Friday to test again and I think by then I will know either way!!! These two weeks are so tough!!!!

What do you think?? ::::

I couldn't hold out to test until the first or whatever day I said I was going to test.

Today, at 11DPO, I got a BFP on an Answer early result test!!!! :: I was having a lot of mild cramps last night, and some stronger ones at around 5am, which I thought was odd since I usually don't get that before AF. I took an internet test around 8am, it was negative. OF course, I saved my pee and my partner smartycat just had to go and test using the answer one. And there they were! Two brilliant lines! :

Way to go Quasar and smartycat!!! :

Michander: I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage.
Sounds like you're having some good signs. I guess you'll know for sure in a day or two, when you test again. Fingers crossed!!!
