well considering where they started (which is pretty high) you never know...
I am by no means trying to get your hopes up (sorry if they already are...) but you might wanna use a more sensitive test....but then again, maybe you don't...

i just wish, as do you I am guessing, there was some rhyme or reason for your long cycles...

I would imagine your cm would be the stretchiest RIGHT before or ON the day of O...am I wrong in that thinking?
and no one has answered this question yet...

well FF didnt give me cross hairs this morning. I have really sore nipples today though and I feel kinda crampy. Do your nipples get sore around ovulation?Cause my boobs get sore from PMS but I dont think I am PMSing yet since my OPK test are showing positive. I havent taken my OPK for today yet, I usually try to do those after lunch.

edited to add I am feeling nauseated today too

Figuring out O day was always a past tense thing. I'd have to look at my temps and my CM to figure it out. Generally speaking, I'd have my peak day and then the day after, or the next, my temp spike. After 3 high temp days I'd look back and consider O day my peak CM day, as usually CM would dry up in correlation to the temp spike. It's nearly impossible to say, "Oh, I'm 1dpo today!", much easier on 3-4dpo!

Yep, that's how I was figuring it, intuitively, also. So I O'd Friday and am 3DPO also, I think.

^But isn't it SO much better?!

This thread has gotten kind of dead, hasn't it? So sad. As I'm not TTC anymore I only check in every once in a while. So weird to think Lee and I will be having babies soon!

Hi ladies! I have been MIA for awhile from Mothering.com, the nausea and puking are making life difficult and I don't have much energy for anything after getting home from work. I am 12 weeks 2 days and I really really hope the pukiness gets better soon. I haven't gained any weight yet, in fact at my appointment last week I had lost a pound from my first Dr appointment! Anyway congrats to bornready! I just spent over an hour catching up on what is going on around here. Mrscomp, it is good that you started temping, it will tell you a lot about your cycles. I had irregular cycles before BCP and after but they were getting better before we got PG. However, I knew I was O'ing after going of BCP because I was charting. My cycles were never as long as yours were though, just not consistent length. But my LP was always between 11 and 13 days long which makes knowing when to expect AF and when to test easier. One note about they CM: if you do have pcos your CM might be confusing because your hormones are all messed up and the hormones are what cause the CM, thus, you may not have a clear CM pattern. Also your CM can be screwed up after getting off BCP because of residual effects of the BCP hormones. In our NFP class they showed charts where peoples cycles and CM patterns were messed up for up to a year after going of BCP. I had a weird CM pattern and almost always had CM after ovulation even when my cycles started to get better. But I eventually learned what was "normal" for me and what my fertile CM looked like. Some people also have fertile CM that isnt clear and stretchy, just a wet feeling.
Also, in our NFP class they said you have to wait for 3 temps higher than the previous six temps (or your coverline) to know if you ovulated or not.
Not sure if any of this helps or not but I hope it does.

Welcome Ilove!

Good to hear from you pregnant ladies!! Glad everything is going well!

Where are April and HMB? Are you girls lurking out there? We miss you!

Yay for ovulating mrscomp!

My temps are all over the place this month. It's kind of ridiculous, but I guess it's just a wait and see what happens.

Oh I had PLENTY of Stretchy Clear CM! I have never seen it quite like that before. And If you look at my Chart you will see I am on 4dpo and my temps have stayed up and are climbing today. Plus I have had ALOT of cramping the last 3 days, I never get cramping in the middle of my cycle. So I am taking it as a good sign
Thanks!

I've been missing April too.

And it is sooo close for Lee and Amber!! Our very first graduates!!! : I'm so excited for you two!!!

I'm in the third tri now... I am more tired now than I was in first tri! *yawns* I think mostly because I'm just so overwhelmed... it will likely get better as I get things in order, I have a tendancy to get panicky and anxious.

Received my Ina May's Guide to Childbirth yesterday! : And spent several hours reading it. I already started hoarding positive birth stories and will be printing them soon, creating a positive energy book for myself to prepare emotionally and spiritually.

My Mama has been bad and started doing too much shopping for clothes... I think baby now has 20 some outfits! lol Though she was smart and has them spaced out, a few 0-3 months, 3-6, and 6-9. She got more stuff for DSD too, but thankfully in 5T so she will have a chance to wear it! We only have her EOW now. So really only get to dress her twice a month, I told my Mom to not go overboard with clothes as DSD won't get to wear them with us, and I'm going to start sending extra outfits to her Mom's, then Mom was sad that she'd never see them... but really it isn't fair for DSD to have a bunch of clothes she will grow out of before she gets a chance to wear either.

We're hoping so for you too! My nipples got tender for a few days right around/after ovulation (from the progesterone, I guess?) then it went away, then it came back. Can't remember exactly when, but probably about when I got my positive. So even if it goes away that's not necessarily a bad thing!

Jenifer, can't believe how far along you are! And yeah, the third trimester has kicked my butt tiredness-wise too. Not *quite* to the level of first trimester fatigue, but close! I'm actually "due" tomorrow. Holy crap.

Mine didnt get sore until AFTER I O'd. Like I o'd on Saturday (I think I did on sunday but FF says sat) but either way I didnt start getting sore nipples until Sunday evening/Monday morn and have had them ever since. Today it was so bad I put on a sports bra instead of my regular one cause it hurt so bad!!

Do you feel any different, Lee? Do you know if baby is settled in down there yet? Are you bouncing out of your seat yet judging every movement down there?

You know we are going to want daily reports now. lol

*hugs you good* GOOD LUCK!!! Any day now.

Lee- Congrats : and yes we want reports as jenifer said...hehe!

Jenifer can't believe you're in the third tri. That's awesome. I'm 22 wks and 2 days, not sure how much that is in months, I lost track a while ago . Anyway just a thought: why don't you keep some of your dsd clothes at your house for when she comes eow? Dumb thought, you probably already do, my parents are divorced and that's what we did. Anyway how exciting third trimester. I can't wait to get there.

Mrscompgeek- That's awesome you started charting. You'll see in the long run you'll have more control of your monthly cycles, and what happens. As for the sore nipples I feel ya. For me right before my period I got very bad sore nipples, and my lower back hurt a lot but it would go away after I got my period. Now being pregnant it's always there, the sore nipples, lower back pain, of course I wouldn't trade it for anything. Anyway so for me it was hard to distinguish if those were signs of pg or not. For you however those are very good signs, especially the nausea. I'm keeping my : you're pregnant!

Notyetmommy- How are you doing? Thanks for letting me borrow those books, I'm almost done with one of them, and I'm learning so much.

April's chart looks like she's still semi charting. Just taking a break from mdc I guess. TTC is very stressful.

I wonder if HMB is doing ok. I hope her business is not having any problems with all the economy mess.

yup we do. We just have a lot! lol And if we get more, she won't get a chance to wear them all before she grows out of them, like some items from this summer. Our parents love to buy her clothes, but don't understand we only get to dress her twice a month, so if we have like 10 outfits... the seasons aren't long enough for her to get to wear them all in the amount of time we have her, and she is only 4 so is growing out of things every season! lol

For instance already for winter she has like 3 different sweat suits, 3 pair of jeans, one pair of courds, 2 sweaters, several long sleeved shirts, other jacket/sweaters, two skirts... lol She won't get to wear it all before the season changes again.
