BFN at 9dpo this morning. Still very hopeful though. I will skip testing tomorrow and test again wed morning at 11 dpo. BTW- has anyone ever used the internet PG test strips? I ordered some from ebay and the packaging they came in says Pg Test but the strips have the green strip on them like the OPK strips. Every picture I have seen of the PG strips are blue??

Congratulations NotYet! :

lynxeyedkat - How exciting!

mrscompgeek :

I ordered some ovulation & pregnancy strips, they should be arriving any day. DH & I are placing bets on whether or not we'll be able to wait until after Disneyland. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to ovulate two days before we go, but I don't want to stress during the trip

notyetamommy, congratulations! It's about time we got another BFP from this crowd.

I'm still anovulatory, so. Yeah. Waiting, and waiting, and getting more and more depressed, but what can I do? Just hoping AF will come soon so I can move on to next month.

Just dropping in. My husband and I have been trying much harder this month. We'll see how it goes. With all the time we are putting in, I'll be annoyed if the cold I have right now kicks ovulation back. I thought I would have o'd yesterday. I'm not up for it at the moment with my head clogged.

Someone look at my chart and tell me I have to be PREGS.
Seriously has anyone ever had all these symptoms and not been pregs?
Break down of symptoms
-Hot flashes yesterday and this morning at 9dpo/10dpo
-Nausea in the evenings since 3dpo
-Cramping since 3dpo
-Gassy since 7dpo
-Sore nipples since 3dpo
-Breast felt hot to the touch since yesterday
-Fatigue, too 3 naps yesterday!!
-Food Aversions
I tested today at 10dpo and BFN but I know its still early. I am also wondering if I should go get a different test. I bought internet stick ones and The control line is so light I am wondering if they are screwed up??

Sorry Mrscomp, I'm : for you, but you can have a crazy number of symptoms and not be pregnant. Last month i was the same way. I also nanny a boy whose mom said the same thing (the month before she got pregnant she had lots of crazy symptoms and the month she was actually pregnant- nothing). And I think 3 dpo is realistically just too early for actual symptoms. I know how it sucks to get your hopes up based on early symptoms, so I just didn't want to come and say that it sounded like you were def pregnant or something. Doesn't mean you're not pregnant though, and I hope you are!

That's how it was for me. I got all crazy excited about symptoms one month, BFN and AF arrived, then the next month there weren't ANY symptoms of note and got my BFP. Go figure. In fact, I didn't really have any symptoms until more like 7-8 weeks pg when the nausea kicked in. Then again - I've had hardly any pg ailments this whole time... so maybe I'm just not a "symptom-er" or something.

Doesn't mean you *aren't* pg, but I think we've all been there at some point convinced by symptoms and gotten a BFN, so don't be too disappointed if it happens to you. Still pulling for you though!!!!

Same here. Every month I had all these symptoms and BFN and then the one month where I had given up and was convinced pg was an impossibility and I had no symptoms was the one where I got my BFP at 18 dpo... but I'm keeping my : for you Mrscomp!

ETA: I did have mild cramping starting when AF was due (that felt like AF was coming) and continuing almost through 10 weeks... but it felt so much like AF cramping that that's exactly what I thought it was!

thanks ladies. Im trying not to get my hopes up. The only thing that gets me is that I dont usually have any of these symptoms when AF is coming. I get PMS but never cramping until the day of my period and I have had cramping for a week now. And my boobs get a bit sore during PMS but never my nipples and they never feel hot.

*nods with the other PP's*

What they said... with me, I can't really say one way or another because most pregnancy symptoms are normal for me with having fibromyalgia. lol So I could never really read into anything... the only totally new thing that came about when I was pregnant that made me halt and think a little was insanely sore nipples cause I have never had sore anything in my breasts ever! lol Til pregnancy... now my nipples are always sore. lol

But, also... be aware... our brains are funny funny places and sometimes when you want something so bad your mind can make up symptoms... there is a word for it, but forgive me as my brain is utter mush today... But I have had a few friends who were not pregnant at all but wanted to be so bad that they had every symptom under the sun... BFN.

I do have my fingers crossed for you though!!! : Just don't want you to be utterly dissapointed if not, you know? I say balance somewhere in the middle, creating positive responses for either outcome. Good Luck!

I'm choosing to feel halfway positive, even though any "symptoms" I've had are more likely attributed to having a cold, eating too much at Olive Garden , and being slightly carsick.

: to all of us, symptomful or not!

I have one wonderful husband and one wonderful little toddler boy!

hmmmmmmmmmm olive garden..I don't know why but when you said that all I could think of is their kick a** salad...

but as for your symptoms I will keep the faith that they are more than just a cold.

Aww lee, you look so cute pregnant!

Stop testing mrscomp, you'll just stress yourself out! Those internet cheapies aren't as sensitive as they say. I got negatives at I think 10 and 12dpo with those. Then I took a FRER at 15dpo that was without a doubt completely positive so I took an ic right after to test them out and it was BARELY positive. It would have been neg at 14dpo. Cramping is a good sign, that was my symptom. :

I had my ultrasound today and I'm embarassed to say my first thought was, omg there's a baby in there! Freaky.

Lol, I didnt test this morning! I am 11dpo so I decided to wait til tomorrow. I may run out today and buy a more expensive test. I have been having cramping ever since 3dpo !
Another question for you preggers that visit this board- my nipples are hard. They have been hard since yesterday morning and they normally arent. I have been wearing a sports bra all week because they hurt too much to put on a regular bra but I put my regular bra on today and my boobs spilled out of my 34C!!

My boobs haven't really grown that much... and if they did I think it was only in the last couple weeks... but I really don't want them to grow that much, I'm already a DD. lol

But when first pregnant, yes my nipples were constantly hard and sore and on fire! It was crazy and I couldn't wait to get home after work and take the stupid bra off and put a tank top on instead. lol

DesperateMommy... that's not fair! You could have given us a hint at least. lol

Andrea... I know what you mean... it is still surreal that there is a little baby in there somewhere. lol I was tapping on my tummy this morning and all of a sudden Kallie kicked at my hand hard! It was so surprising. lol Twice now that she has been able to move my hand with her kicks... little girl is strong!!

So did you find out if it's a boy or a girl?

Thanks! Our babies will have to play together! And to the rest of you - nana nana boo boo, I know what she's having (I'll give you a hint- it's a boy, or a girl)

mrscompgeek- Do you have a dollar store? Those are pretty sensitive tests. Also, I'm only 5 1/2 weeks and I started as a small B, but my boobs are definitely bigger. So is my areola (is that what it's called?).
