Welcome aboard mommies!! So what are we all taking right now to get our bodies ready?? I am taking a flinstone multi vitamin (I cant take the regular prenatals cause they make me sick so my midwife told me to take the flinstones) , a extra 400 of folic acid and I am going out today to get some Red Raspberry leaf tea and some b6. The B6 Im gonna start taking 25mg a day from now out and then if I start to feel sick from morning sickness I will up it to 50 mg a day.

I am drinking nourishing herbal infusions (red clover, red raspberry leaf, nettle, and oatstraw), eating my normal lacto-ovo vegetarian diet only minus all the cake and cookies , trying to drink at least a quart of water a day (gonna work that up to three quarts eventually), and doing prenatal yoga.

kriket, I love the fall and I love babies, too!! This is gonna be a great season for all of us! :

I'm taking some Wal-Mart prenatal, but yesterday I got a prescription for stronger ones (more folic acid). Not sure if I should fill the prescription right away or just finish the first bottle first. The doctor also said I need to get a potential heart murmur checked out. Hopefully that will turn out to be nothing or minor, and I'll be good to go to start trying with an early Oct. O.

I have one wonderful husband and one wonderful little toddler boy!

Notyet, thanks for remembering today was my first appointment! You are too sweet. Last night was my worst by far (morning sickness for me is "gets worse all day and really could be called afternoon and evening sickness") and today isn't much better. And I'm kinda anxious for this appointment, just another thing I've never done before (although I'd better get used to it!).

Jenifer, you're finding out the gender!? How exciting! I wasn't 100% set on not finding out until my MIL (whom I love) acted like it was her right to find out. There's a surefire way to set me in my ways!

Loving life with my amazing DH , luminous DD ( March 2009), and two crazy .

16 DPO and CD 41 and af showed up early this AM!

All this after yet another false hope, this time give to my by a doc! The hormone doc that I went to get my results from yesterday said that from some of the labs that he took he feels that I Od on the exact day that FF said I did, which just happned to be the day he took the blood test. he said I was late on my af and basically acted as though I was PG.

Called today to say that the HCG he took yesterday was neg and he now thinks I did not O because my progesterone was so low yesterday (1.something) so now I have to go back on CD 21 for more blood work to see if I am Oing.

Every cycle!! there is always something, there is always false hope as well as a doc thinking something is wrong with me!!!

on to cycle 4 and month number 5 wonder what this one will bring!?

here I am, I love fall, it is a great time of year here in GA! There is so much to do! So I hope that this fun season will bring good luck!

Oh, I take Duet DHA (prenatal) and 100mg of B6 Thats all I am taking.

Fall is my favorite season... and now it also means my baby is coming!! : I think that will be so cool, to have my LO's birthday be in my favorite season. I've only got 1.5 weeks of school and work left before I'm done and I can start seriously getting ready to welcome this baby. I've got lots of stuff to get organized that I've been too busy to do.

Good luck to everyone with a shiny new thread!!!

Funny how a new thread gets us going again. I am slightly less dedicated, so I get lazy to click to the end of the thread. For all us still trying, at least it'll be cooler in the fall! Good luck and many babies to all!

The ultrasound was awesome!! It's like getting a sneak peak at the baby's personality already. lol It kept moving it's hand to cover whatever the tech wanted to look at... mostly covering it's face. It was too cute. Then it was crossing and un-crossing it's legs just hanging out. hehe

But then... it opened it's legs and we got a great shot....

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

And she will be named Kalie Elizabeth. I am soooo excited!!!

I absolutely love her little feet! They are tooo cute!

Congrats Jennifer! :

Ok, as for me...my postpartum doula training has been canceled due to Tropical Storm Fay. Crap! I was looking forward to that as a way to pass the time quickly, doing things I enjoy, while NOT OBSESSING about whether or not I'm pregnant! Now what am I gonna do all weekend?!

I am 8 dpo today, and I *swear* my boobs look...more full or something. But it's hard to tell because I have really big boobs anyway. And what's weird is by now I'm usually getting really bad breast tenderness...all I have now is sensitive nipples. Strange!

Ah, see? I'm obsessing! I am NOT going to test until 15 dpo, and only if my temp is still up. Nope. Not gonna test.

The only breast changes I had for MONTHS was sensitive nipples.

I'm not helping, am I? Let's see... I'm not sure the sensitivity kicked in that early for me though, I think it was after I got my positive test (on 15 DPO) so see, you should stop obsessing and just wait. *nods*

(Did that help any?! )

I had only nipple tenderness until my bbs suddenly turned into leaded balloons. Don't remember when they got so full and heavy though, sorry. But still... wait to test!!!

Yeah JSMA!!!! Little girls are so adorable... ok, little boys are too, little BABIES are just adorable!!! How sweet you got to see her little feet.

Have you gone to a dr? I tried progesterone, Vitamins, Dong Quai, Red Raspberry leaf tea and still had no AF for 3 months and I was feeling horrible. So I went to my dr and she took a ton of blood work and gave me a pill called Provera and I took it for 7 days. I stopped them on Saturday and yesterday (wed) I got my period back!! I am not a big person to go to the dr a lot but I was feeling bad and ready to get it over with.

Hiya all. I have been MIA for a while here, school inservice has started up and I have been SOOOO BUSY getting ready for the school year to start. That and I wanted to give my brain a break from TTC for a week.

I am just so happy for you JSMa! I thought you might be having a girl! :

Just for fun, here are my predictions:

lynx- boy
desperatemommytobe- girl
steedalyn- boy
dachshund mom- girl
Amber Lion- girl
doglady- boy
merebella-boy
JSMa- girl
lee- boy

Only time willl tell!

not yet- I am not sure if I will chart this cycle or not. I have been waking up at all different times lately which will make my chart look weird, and I think I just need a break right now from it all.

feminine_earth- Hang in there! The first cycle is the hardest for waiting.

Thanks for the wonderful new thread everyone! I won't be able to post much due to school starting next Tues. I have been to all their houses and met them all, and I think it is going to be a banner year, but it takes a lot out of me. I will pop in to see how everyone is doing.

April 5th grade teacher and wife to hubby Justin : is expecting her first in April 2010!! Finally!!:
