I really like this recipe I saw on Rachel Ray last year, except I use regular almonds instead of blanched, buttery sticks instead of butter, and I add a dash or two of salt. They are a really nice basic wedding-type cookie and you can probably add any spices you want or try different kinds of nuts. I also like to make biscotti and panettone from Nona's Italian Kitchen, cut out cookies, and chocolate dipped stuff (pretzels, graham crackers, peanut butter balls, etc.).

oh my, cookie goodness I'm not making any this year, and even though I said I didn't need any my mom brought me some over already. it's really sweet of her but I CANNOT control myself around sugar, I'll eat what I have in the house. not in one sitting, but, well, it's still not gonna last till Christmas. I should work on that

sorry Amanda about only one insem.

happy monday!

Well, my molasses went bad and I was too lazy to go to the store for more, so I skipped cookies until next weekend. Better if I don't have sugar around too long anyway. I have a terrible sweet tooth.

I have to say, after this weird long cycle, I have this huge feeling of relief to be done with it and just waiting for the next one. I didn't realize how anxious I was about it, I guess. I can stop poking around at my cervix for awhile.

I hope everyone is off to the start of a good week.

snow~pea, thinking of you. looks like an anov. cycle, possibly? at least you'd be done with this wonky cycle and start a fresh, new, regular, early ovulation one! s

Maybe, I would kind of be glad to just get this cycle over with and start new. But I'm not sure. I have ovulated this late before. And, the spotting I noted on my chart is just from checking cm, not on tp or anything, I have had that in the middle of cycles before. I just hope something happens soon, anything really, AF or O. Thanks for thinking of me .

I have been lurking here for awhile and thought I would like to join you ladies. I see a couple of places that I may call home on here so I will post this in those places (TTC, Vegan TTC, UC TTC). I belong to two other forums; one that I love (but it can be very quiet over there sometimes), the other one I don’t really fit in because everyone calls the doctor for everything and I don’t. I am a “natural” enthusiast. I am a plant based nutrition instructor who loves to teach the natural lifestyle to others for their own wellness. We have been vegan for about 11 years. While we love animals, our decision to go vegan was primarily due to the health benefits. I really enjoy discovering natural remedies while recognizing the Great Physician who makes all of this stuff work.

My DH and I are trying for a little one of our own after 20 years. We know that the odds are against us, but we also know the Lord specializes in miracles that will glorify His name.
We are older (not old, just older), I have endometriosis/high estrogen, DH had his vasectomy reversed earlier this year (May 08) after 16 years and now has anti-sperm antibodies killing them. So here we are. We have been on a fantastic journey learning all about fertility and the natural things we can do. We truly are fearfully and wonderfully made!

Happy vegan wife to my Best Friend for 23 years, Mother to a Baby someday.
Wishing Since Dec 2007 -- Vas. Reversal in May 2008 -- Waiting on the Lord

KBL7, you will find lots of us here who believe in natural remedies. I am quite sure my PG is due to the acupunture and supplements I took. Welcome.

I am 41 and 7w3d PG. I had two losses earlier this year.

Welcome, KBL7!

I keep missing posts. I think it's taking me further into the thread than my last visit. Anyway, woohoo for a heartbeat, veganmama! And thanks for the almond cookie link, catemom. That's a lot of margarine, but that's never bothered me before.

I really hate the 2ww. Even though I know the chances are virtually zero, every little twinge has me wondering. I feel like a crazy person. I'm having constant dull cramps. Nothing major, but it's like my uterus won't let me forget it's there. I'm not mentioning it to DH because I half think I'm causing it somehow just by dwelling on it.

Maybe I'll go make those almond cookies...

Thank you for the warm welcome ladies.
I need to try to not become obsessed with TTC (I already have =P) so I will only lurk from time to time. I am more than halfway through the TWW. AF should come the 13th.

lol, sorry oceane. I didn't have time to post it before work this morning. Not too terribly exciting though. I had accupuncture again today. She decided to work on encouraging AF. I am definately ready for a new cycle.

Good evening. Funny, last month I had all sorts of symptoms and of course, AF came and BFN. This month, don't feel much different so I'm wondering if the absence of symptoms means something. Does everyone get crazy like this? LOL. I think I'll test tomorrow even though I'm due for AF on Monday.
