Can anyone help me? I have been trying to have a baby now for about 3 months. I am still not pregnant. I have started charting but, I don't know if I am doing it right. My cycle started on the 14th of Feb. on the 16th of March and the 16th of April. I don't understand if my cycle is irregular or regular and if and when I ovulate. HELP!!!! I have attempted to use an ovulation test by the name of Answer one step ovulation test and it noted that my LH surge was high on the 29th of April. Should I have than ovulated on the 30th?

hi newmom! i don't think that i can really offer any help, but i can offer reassurance!

i've been ttc for 3 months now, too. it sounds like you're doing everything that we can do, but we just must be a little patient...please don't think that i don't understand, because since childhood, i've been a very anxious & impatient person myself. I was very impatient the first month & somewhat last month & my 2ww always has it's trying days, but i've just realized i need to relax and enjoy the "ttc'ing phase" just as much as the "pregnancy phase" or the "infancy stagbe", that we just can't wait to get to. IMO, i think that the dp's love the ttc'ing phase, with all the bd'ing that we get to do!

from the reading that i have done, i've learned that on your chart, you should see a distinct rise in temp on the day after ovulation and it should stay elevated in that range indefinitely if you become pg; if you don't become pg, it will start to decrease near the time AF will start up. i think my chart shows a pretty "typical" rise, then decline before AF started up again. my af's aren't always exactly regular, either...usu. within 26-29 days. i'm also taking daily pre-natals.

best of luck & baby dust to you & all of us here!

That's ok
It's very comforting to me when ever I hear good advise. My husband and I TTC on the 29th of April untill the 1st of May so now I have the aganizing waiting period to look forward to. I hope that I planned correctly since my LH surge was detected on the 29th of April. I think that I am just worried because I have planned the same way for the last 3 months. PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE is all I need.

Thanks again everyone for your support

Here's my chart:

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/c...p?d=2006-05-13

FYI, to post your chart, all you do is go to FF, click on the address bar and hit copy, then paste it into here. I have to open Internet Explorer twice...once for FF, and also for MDC, to get this process to work. (I think!)

As for me, AF came to visit this evening, after a long LP and a 26 day cycle (which is also longer than normal for me). Oh, well. There's always next month....

on FF, once FF detects ovulation, what is the difference between the solid line and the dotted line? Does anyone know?

I hope this works... I am also somewhat computer illiterate.
Can anyone tell me what the white dots on the chart mean? Most of my temps are marked with solid dots, but some are randomly white/empty??

Katia.
ETA: Ok, failure. How do I get a page with just my chart on it?

For greater things are yet to come...

I think that the white/empty dots mean that the temp might not be 100% reliable due to taking it at a different time or other factors.

IIRC, the dotted line means that possible ovulation has been detected but not confirmed. Once you have a few more temps then it should turn solid if you o'ed.

Okay, here's my chart. I have been entering all my temps, and have more detailed notes on nuances and other symptoms in my paper charting binder. Tell me what you think!

This is my first month charting! From what I can tell (no elevated temps), I either am having an anovulatory cycle, or I need a new thermometer. Hope it looks better next month. (Chart in signature.)

Here's mine:

I'd love any and all observations and opinions. This is my second month charting, my first insemination, my first time as a SMC, and hopefully my third and (probably) final child.
