Okay, this is going to be my first cycle with injectables. Here's how the doctor has me going:

1) 5 days of 100mg Clomid, starting on day 4.
2) On day 9, begin Repronex injections
3) On day 11, go in for ultrasound to check follies. At that point, determine the best day to do the trigger shot.
4) After trigger shot, do IUI
5) After IUI, do vaginal progesterone suppositories twice a day (I assume until either AF starts or I get a + HPT?)

So here are my questions for you IF vets:

1) I've been charting my temps, and plan to continue. How will the drugs affect my temps? (I already know that Clomid raises them a bit). Will the Repronex throw them off?

2) Should I even bother with an OPK this month? I think I remember that the injectables cause a false +OPK. Also, since O will be triggered instead of happening naturally, it seems like it wouldn't be so helpful.

3) How...messy are the progesterone suppositories? Should I wear my grungy AF undies, or will my regular ones be OK?

4) What else should I know?

I don't think there's any point in charting your temps with a monitored cycle.

I could be wrong, and I'm willing to be corrected, but with the trigger shot and the progesterone, your temp will spike anyway. Even if you were hoping to get the 18 high temps to know you're pregnant, the progesterone will mess with that. I'm assuming you're going for a beta at 14 DP IUI/insem/trigger/whatever.

In my experience with 3 clomid cycles, you want to be more concerned about your endometrium anyway, and charting won't tell you a thing about that.

I don't know about repronex, never taken it, but if it contains LH or hcG it will mess with your OPK. You're hoping to not surge naturally anyway, the trigger will replicate your body's own LH surge. That's the idea, anyway. The trigger contains hcG, so if you get a + OPK or + pregnancy test following the trigger, that's why.

3) Grungy. And you might want a liner. So goopy. I hate them.

Good luck!
