Song, I'm so glad that your acupuncturist has hope! I TOTALLY believe in acupuncture.
We had a scare yesterday when I went to the bathroom (after holding my pee too long) and found blood dripping into the toilet. I freaked out, of course, but was pretty sure it came out with my pee. I checked my vaginal opening and there was no blood in there. We went in for an u/s yesterday, and a urine sample, and the babies are healthy and looking good. phew!!! The blood was, in fact, in my urine, and it's probably from holding in my pee too long. They are going to check it to look for a UTI, but I don't think so to be honest. I don't have symptoms or any more bleeding today. Anyway, baby B is now measuring a little AHEAD of baby A. Way to go, little one! Our next u/s won't be until two weeks from tomorrow, I think, and it will be with our regular OB. Our RE graduated us yesterday, since we'll be in Germany when we hopefully hit 9 weeks. Anyway, thanks for listening. Thinking of you ladies!!!
Tear - Great to hear how well A and B are measuring! What a scare, though. Glad you're ok! Yes, I love acupuncture!
Maureen - When's your next u/s?
Blue - When's your next u/s?
Keria - Yes, let's please get preggers together!
AFM - I'm not spending as much time online these days, trying to take it easy. DH and I are still both pretty down. We're angry that our RE and staff had such high expectations then *pouf!* they disappeared, kwim? Also, MIL is not in good shape. The fracture was right below the ball of her femur/hip socket and I think it will be slow going. She's not a fit and active 75 year old. My father is 72 and had a hip replacement 2 years ago. He exercises daily, lifts weights, does tai chi and yoga, takes tango classes, walks the dogs 2xday, etc. He recovered within a few weeks. My MIL--I'm worried she won't recover 100%. She doesn't like pain and doesn't understand how important it is to fight through it during physical therapy. We're praying hard for her.
Anyway, due to MIL's accident, DH and I won't be going to Hawaii. Big, big bummer! MIL and FIL have custody of their grandkids, so I've been helping out--a nice distraction from the IVF stuff. However, DH and I need time to just hang out, get away and love each other. Hopefully we can go away after the next round of IVF in February.
OK--that was a long vent, but necessary!
Must exercise lots these next few weeks to combat low mood and stress eating!
Hoping for a fertile, pregnant, birthing 2011 for all of us on this board!!!
