Not sure whether or not I believe I really O'd yet. I keep wishing the days could go by faster so that I will have more temps on my chart to be able to tell. I started a new job this week and have had some odd times for temping as a result (love my job btw!). I'm not really feeling like "it's" happening for me this month...

Fingers crossed for you SimplyRochelle, and best of luck to everyone else!

thanks ladies! 4dpo is so freaking boring!

April Fool's Day always seems so cruel now because it was my EDD with my little lost bean. Just like the entire universe played some sick joke on me. And to top things off, I somehow ended up on a baby mailing list and have started getting formula samples in the mail for my newborn that doesn't exist. It's rainy and gross outside today too which doesn't help when you're already feeling so down.

Sorry I'm just so mope-y today. Thanks for being so supportive.

Hi ladies,

Thanks, Brichole, for starting the thread!

So, preg test was negative. I was so annoyed today because I had to go in for me endometrial biopsy, which they said that my insurance would not cover. However, when I called my insurance company before, they said that they would cover infertility testing...isn't this infertility testing?! Well, I asked them to call my insurance company so we could get this squared away. They said no. Nice to know my doctor's office is that helpful. So I ended up paying because I just wanted it done with. And I'm so excited about the prospect of seeing another doctor.

I actually also asked them for a copy of my records, which incidentally, I had to pay for as well ($0.75 a page). They took 2 weeks to get it together and I was finally able to pick up the records today. After looking at it, I became even more annoyed...Month one, my lining was only 3.6mm and they made a note that it was too thin. And still told me to get an IUI. Month 2, my lining was 5 (same note that it was too thin) by the time I got the IUI. Month 3, lining was 5. Knowing how much of an impact clomid was having on my lining, do you think she would have maybe supplemented with something month 2? No. No matter how much I asked, my RE was not going to supplement with anything and she definitely wasn't going to give me an explanation about why she wasn't supplementing or switching my treatment. So I just feel like the last 3 months and more than $4000 were a waste. I know some doctors also don't do IUIs if the lining is too thin. I think my doctor was just out to make money.

Sorry, I'm just so angry, especially now that I see everything that happened; my doctor never told me the numbers. The only reason I knew my lining numbers for months 2 and 3 were because another doctor in the practice actually did the final sonogram and she was amenable to me asking questions.

The doctor who did my endometrial biopsy (another doctor in the practice) also said that I had really little lining come out during the procedure. She thinks it'll be enough for the analysis but it's not a surprise that I've not been able to get pregnant. DH and I are taking this month off from any intervention and hoping that my lining builds up a bit now that I'm off of clomid. Additionally, we have an appointment with a well regarded RE on April 11th, so I'm really looking forward to that. Apparently, he's open to people asking questions. Wow, what a concept.

Ok, I'm just going to stew in my bitterness for a couple of more hours and then I'll shrug it off and be happy me again. Thanks for letting me vent!!

Attempted induction at 38 weeks; ended up with a c-section.

In love with my baby boy Colin and baby girl Sienna!

Oh renavoo how frustrating! I'm glad you got all your records and can now move on to a new, better doctor (and that you were able to vent)!

Okay, well, now that we're actually on to intervention (and therefore there may be some actual ovulation!), I think I'm going to try rejoining this thread. :)

I'm enchanted by the thought of a BFP for Mother's Day, and all the stories of the many, many cycles it takes for people to conceive just can't touch this unreasonable hope.

Sorry I have been kinda quiet lately, but know that I'm always stalking and cheering you ladies on!!!  Feeling a little off today b/c DH and I were up with our dog at 4am b/c he had a grand mal seizure which wasn't fun at all and very scary.

Monkeyscience - Keep the hope alive!!!  Fingers crossed for you for a wonderful Mother"s Day present!!

Renavoo - Oh I would be pissed too!!!  I can't believe that they didn't just cancel your cycles w/ your lining that low.  I realize you would have spent the money on the meds and the U/S's to that point but at least you would have saved the cost of the actual IUI procedure.  My insurance is the same way but will pay if it is considered infertility testing and is not coded as infertility.  The whole insurance issues is a crock to me!  We didn't ask to have infertility just like joe schmo didn't ask for diabetes or cancer but they will cover his medical expenses.  Don't get me started.  LOL  Anyways, I'm glad to hear you are going to be seeing another dr.  Sounds like a good idea.

SimplyRochelle - hug2.gif  So sorry that April fools day is such a bad day for you.  Just doesn't seem fair... I totally understand.  Hope feel better and don't be sorry about being mopey it happens to all of us.

Tantylynn - fingers crossed you ovulated!!!  Good luck!

Brichole - thanks for starting the new thread.  Hope work is going smooth and the house is coming along.

After 5 failed IUI's & 6 failed IVF's we threw in the towel w/ ART and then got a NATURAL miracle BFP! Hoping and praying it is finally our take home baby!  Mother to our twins boys in heaven -lost at 22.5wks on 6/20/09 and 1 other little angel in heaven.

Our Miracle has arrived... Caden James...

Ladies, it's nice to see a good turn out so far this month and last month was wonderful getting to know everyone again!!!

SimplyRochelle: I just wanna scoop you up and give you BIG HUGS!!!!  I really really really hope that you were able to catch your eggie this month!!! Will you be testing anytime soon or will you wait until AF is late?

renavoo: Big hugs to you too!! I know that it's frustrating when doctors are only out to make a buck and don't think about what they are doing to you mentally in the process!!!! Didn't you say that you were looking into finding a new RE?  I hope that the new one will be able to give you more answers!! That's one thing i liked about my RE's office.  The nurses were specifically trained to know what they were looking for and at on the U/S and would talk me thru it each time that I went in to have one done (which was like 2 to 3 times a week some times!!!)  I hope that you get your little bean soon!!!

monkeyscience: Welcome back!! I hope that the Provera kicks in soon so that your cycle can start!!!  I know it's nerve racking when you start a new cycle because you never know what you will get out of it!!!  Thinking of you and praying you get your BFP before the end of the month!!!

Blueyezz:  You have been a wonderful supporter to everyone here and I want you to know that I am praying SOOOOOOOOO hard for your embryos!!!!  Sending out LOTS of sticky vibes!!!!  Please do keep us up dated!!!

AFM: Work is still crazy.  But i finally got 2 off days to spend with my family (3 total this week but 2 in a row) so I got to actually relax and have a good time!  They have our shingles on the roof and so all they are missing from the outside is out brick!! YAY!!! I keep looking at the calander and we only have like 6 weeks or so before our house will be completed!!! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time!!! I really hope that we are doing to right thing and can afford the payment. (i know we can it's just hard to think that i'll actually be paying for MY house!!!)  As soon as they get the brick on the outside of the house i will post a picture!!!  Oh and i've decided that i'm never going to wish for AF to show up ever again...because i've had either brown/pink discharge or bleeding for a month and in 6 days AF is due again!!! I'm SOOOOOOO frustrated and so is DH!!!

Hi ladies! Thanks for the support. Hey Blueyezz, which insurance do you have? I have Cigna and the office keeps telling me that once it's encoded for infertility, I am no longer covered. However, I got the Cigna infertility coverage policy online and this is what they wrote:

“Once an individual meets the definition of infertility as outlined in the benefit plan or as listed below, CIGNA generally covers services associated with establishing the etiology of infertility under the core medical benefits of the plan.”

Additionally, it said,

“The following services are covered as medically necessary, when performed solely to establish the underlying etiology of infertility:”

The third bullet states “endometrial biopsy”.

To me, that is proof positive that my insurance company covers the test. This was confirmed on the phone with one of the representatives as well but I'm happy I have it in writing. I will be sending this to my doctor today to find out why they keep saying I'm not covered. This, to me, suggests that regardless of being labeled as "infertile", Cigna continues to pay for tests to determine the cause of my infertility...it's once they have determined the cause of my infertility that they stop paying for procedures. I don't know whether this is the same for you?

Also, I am annoyed I am out the cost of the IUI procedures but I'm more annoyed that she didn't see fit to vary my regimen in order to prevent my lining from thinning. It seems like a lot of doctors would use femara instead of clomid because i obviously suffer severely from the adverse events associated with clomid. After the first month, with a lining of about 3mm, shouldn't it have been a clue that perhaps they should have either supplemented with estrogen or switched me over to another treatment? Also, the stupid office charges $175.00 more to do an IUI than the office my new RE is in...I'm just thanking the stars that for my second IUI, I required it on a Sat and they send me over to this new office for the IUI so i found out how much cheaper it was. Suffice to say, I went there for my third IUI!!

Period is starting today. I'm having spotting. Therefore, it begins again, although we're going to be doing it the natural way this month!

Brichole, I totally get not wanting to have a period again though...I hope that this last month was an anomaly for you and that the next month, it'll be a regular period for you.

Blueyeez, any update on how you're feeling? I know it's early yet but i'm wishing you massive amounts of luck this month! Also, I'm so sorry about your dog!! Is this a regular thing for him or was this something new? Did they tell you why he's suffering seizures?

SimplyRochelle, I hope you had a good April Fools to counteract your awful one the last time. Any signs you want to share with us? How are you feeling? :o)

hugs to everyone!! Hope the week starts off well!

Thanks for the support everyone! I am feeling much better this week. I leave tomorrow at 6am to go to Utah until Saturday for the national student nurses convention so I'm hoping it will distract me enough for the rest of the 2ww and I plan on testing Sunday morning after I get back home. No real symptoms right now, just sore nipples but not even sore boobs. I had to wake up 2 hours earlier than usual today and will have to wake up 3 hours earlier than normal tomorrow so my temp from today is not reliable. I'll be reading from my phone the rest of the week so I may not post much but I'll be here in spirit.

Renavoo- I am dealing with insurance crap right now too but I think that they're right and I just didn't read the super small print on one page of my coverage. So that's $205 for the ultrasound that I had a few weeks ago because it was billed under infertility. Times like this I think I'd rather take a waiting list and free healthcare than the crap we have to put up with.

Blueeyez: I've been rooting for you for a long time (long before I started stalking the IVF threat) and woohoo! for having those little embies hopefully cozying up in your uterus right now. I hope this next week flies by and that 4-11 brings a great beta!

brichole: so glad to hear your house is going up so quickly! Maybe all this spotting is just your body taking it's time to regulate. I hope it draws to a close very soon though, for the sake of your sex life!

blueyezz Thanks and good luck to you too! I'm sorry about your poor puppy, is he ok now?

brichole I'm glad you got to relax this week! Building your own house is such a dream come true, I'm jealous! Can't wait to see the pictures.

SimplyRochelle Have fun in UT, that's where I'm from thumb.gif

AFM, Now I'm not sure if I Od on CD11 or CD18 or at all. DH accidentally woke me up early and now my chart can go either way because of the difference in the temp when I first woke up, and when I woke up later. I'm just really really hoping that it doesn't turn out that my chart keeps changing and that I never O at all...it would just confirm my worst fear crap.gif.

Tantylynn - Doesn't that drive you nuts when your temps get all messed up!?!?!  I remember those days and at that point in time for me I'd get tempted to give up charting.  I think I did finally stop when I started using the CBEFM and it would tell me when I was ovulating so I gave up the thermo which was so nice. See info below about our dog.

SimplyRochelle - Glad you are feeling some better!!  I hope you have  a good time in Utah at the conference.  Are you going with some friends I hope?  That will make it even more fun if so.  I hate having to get up earlier than normal b/c it kinda throws my body off when you aren't used to it.  LOL... I love having stalkers actually, especially the ones that will admit it.  I'm a stalker as well and I'm not ashamed of it.  I always get to know people on here and then want to see how they are doing afterwards esp if they get a BFP.  I also had to laugh at your comment about the "IVF Threat"  LOL...it is kinda threatening!!!  I knew what you ment! LOL

Renavoo - Our insurance is Anthem/blue cross-blue shield..... blahhhhh!!!!  I used to have Medical Mutual and they paid for so much more.  That policy that you wrote out for us does make it sound like you are getting the screw!  So frustrating.  I know this sounds crazy, but I wonder if you had DH call if you would get any better service.  I just had an issue with a bill and had been trying to get it figured out and was getting no where with those people and DH calls and he finds out that we have some type of co-insurance and his company should write us a check to help out with it.  HELLO!!!  It is the same way with car issues I find.  Drives me nuts b/c i usually am the one that has more time to call about these things in the day than he does, but he will get better service.  Just a thought.  Does sound like you  have it under control though.  You are right your RE should have changed your meds or given you Estrogen to support a better lining...something is wrong there.  Let hope that you will get a BFP this month trying on your own w/o any measures and then won't have to deal w/ any of it anymore!!!!  Good luck.  When are you suppose to have the biopsy?

Brichole - Glad you had some time off to relax and enjoy your family!!!  Also, glad to hear the house is moving right along!!!  Thanks so much for your kind words and prayers!  They are much appreciated.

AFM - Not much going on  here.  I'm trying not to analyze any kind of symptoms at all this time b/c last time w/ my fresh IVF I didn't even think i was pregnant and i was, so I figured this time I'm going to try not to worry about it at all and over-analyze things even though it can be hard.  Other than a little nauseous and tired  (but that may be totally the progesterone) not much is going on.  I'm not working this week which is why I have the extra time to keep up on my posts.  My paper work said not to lift more than 10lbs which w/ my job i do all the time so DH and I kinda agreed that we have put so much time and $$ into this to let something like work mess everything up that it isn't a good thing to do right now.  Our dog issues lately have been a huge distraction for me w/ this TWW.  He is older and they think he may have bone cancer (has some hard masses several places on his body) so the vet isn't sure if it has gone to his brain and that is causing the seizures at night or what?  He had a 2nd one (smaller though)Sat night and last night he was fine.  We are trying several different things ourselves to see if we can pinpoint what else might be causing them, so maybe what we did yesterday (fed him 2 meals a day instead of one to see if it is blood sugar related and then made him sleep in his own bed on the floor instead of w/ us to keep his body cooler) might have worked I don't know.  We also just recently started giving him some arthritis meds which i think could maybe be the cause too.  It is so hard to know.  Unless we did like a MRI or CT of his brain we would know for sure but the dog is 12.5 yr old and I don't see that as being necessary at this point even though we love him to death.  He is his normal self though so he is actually doing okay at this point.  We will take it as long as he is comfortable.

Hello, not sure what and when to put this so here goes... I have no idea what CD and DPO are.
Name: KKFrance
Age: 31 almost 32
TTC #: 1
CD:
DPO (if applicable):
Testing:  Just told by the dr. to go in for blood tests and hsg
Trying Since: October 2009
Plan for this Cycle: To try as usual and cross my fingers that the blood work is normal.
Link to Chart (if applicable):
Thoughts: It didn't really hit me that there may be something bigger to the fact that I haven't gotten pregnant yet until I saw the paperwork for the blood test and the column where the dr. ticked off what needs to be checked is the "infertility" column.  Every where I go everyone is pregnant and I keep trying and trying with nothing.  Friends that I know who just had their babies keeps saying I will understand this or that when it happens to me... sometimes I feel like telling them to go (you know what) themselves because I have been trying and it isn't working.  My husband has a 13 yr. old son with one of his previous girlfriends so we'll see.  Blood work in 2 days then HSG in 1 month.

Welcome KKFrance!! Hope your stay here is short and sweet smile.gif and that you are able to get some answers from your tests.

Blueyezz Oh, I'm so sorry for you and your poor dog! I'm glad things seem to be on the improve at this point. It is totally frustrating temping, but worth it at this point so I get a feel for my cycles. Ugh, the things we do! Have a great week off of work and take it easy!!

Just got off the phone with the "Fertility Pharmacy" - my hCG and progesterone are only going to cost $159 total. Better than I thought, though I didn't realize I'd be getting so much progesterone at once (28 days worth). Last dose of Provera tonight!

Hey girls...

AM sorry I was gone for a little bit,,,worked 2 doubles, then messed up my laptop,,,I made it work again, but all info gone,,,

So:

Weekend Wrap-Up
Name: Lega
Age:29
TTC #:2nd IUI
CD:31
DPO (if applicable):12
Testing:4-11-11
Trying Since:4 -2009
Plan for this Cycle:
Link to Chart (if applicable) http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2a0114:
Thoughts: no more emotions,,,cold inside out,,,

So am scheduled to do test next monday but I have some plans, so am thinking to ask tmr or I could do it on Friday,,,It would be 14 dpo,,,

Renavoo I see you have the same insurance like me. I work for religion organization so the cover testing, but not the treatment. So if I do ultrasound to check on my foliculs they doesn't pay. But the would pay prg, estr ir lh test done at the same time. They even paid my ovarian tubs x ray (hsg)...Only thing is I have to call them each time because they let computers take care of claims and them dont catch all the small details (I found out they pay the testing just last year and tha I have to call them each time, already got my money back from hospital; still waiting for check from my doc office - I asked them to review the old claims)...Its funny how much they charge patiens and how much they charge insurance - I would say twice less!!!...

Best wishes to everyone!!!

Hello ladies!  I'm back from a long weekend in SC and feeling refreshed and rejunivated!  Got to meet my best friend's new baby and spend time with friends and family.  Welcome to all of the new faces here!

Last dose of Provera tomorrow!  I've been spotting, so I'm hoping I'll be able to tell when AF starts so I can begin counting cycle days...we'll see...It's a relief to be almost through this part and on to the actual "trying" part...that said, it's a little scary...

Monkeyscience - I think I'm in the same place as you, mentally.  I'm ready to be doing something active and I know I have way to much hope for the first cycle.  But I just can't help it!  (Oh, and to make matters even more interesting, one of my closest friends just found out she's having twins...)

Sorry I've been absentee...I've been ill. Ugh!
That being said, I'd like ya'lls opinions...I've been sick for the past 4 weeks. Started with what I thought was a cold, then keep going and going and going, all the while I was getting worse and worse. I have had no energy and would have to rest/sleep several times a day. (I also have asthma and inhalent allergies) The pollen here has been awful! Finally went to the doctor, got 40mg injection of dexamethasone (steroid) and cefdinir antibiotic (10 days worth) and 40mg of prednisone daily for a week. I was already taking advair 100/50 (take that year round) once daily, but had bumped it up to twice daily during the pollen season. Continued to get worse, and now the antibiotic has caused a raging yeast infection. Start using otc miconazole for yeast infection. Also called dr. back and he gave me fluconazole for yeast (haven't taken yet) and the larger advair 250/50 (Using it twice daily) Had upset stomach and some diarrhea (probably due to antibiotics). Am starting to taper myself off the pred today....Have also started taking lypo spheric vitamin C. (which I think is what is really helping me get better) And I'm slowly coming out of it, I think.

Now, all this to say, I'm on cd 26 (my cycles lately have been about 25-27 days) and my temp has greatly risen the last couple of mornings. FF cannot figure out when I o'd, but I know I o'd on cd14 (Have the pain every month). Umm, can you see where I'm going? I pray that we have been blessed again...but what if we have? What about all the meds that are in my body? My plan is to test tomorrow....

Thanks for letting me get it all out. :)

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone is doing well. Just got back from a business trip; I don't like traveling so I'm really happy to be home!

Zanelee, UGH, I'm so sorry that you have to go through all this!! I know it must get scary because no one wants to use meds when they think they could be pregnant. However, it sounds like you have really severe disease! Have you spoken with your physician about it? I think that this is the first step; hopefully, if you're pregnant, it is early enough that all the drugs you've taken won't have an impact. I'm most worried about the steroids you're taking...those are pregnancy category X, I believe and therefore pretty unsafe during pregnancy. I hope the tapering goes well.

As for me, not too much going on. CD4 today so I'm just moving along with my natural cycle. I spoke with my doctor's office and they finally agreed to submit a claim for me so I'm going to be getting a refund. It still brings a bad taste to my mouth though and I'm looking forward to my new RE. Appointment is on Monday. Lega, yes, it does seem like we have the same type of insurance. Oh and I find it funny, too, when you see how much they get from the insurance company. This is probably why they love to make it difficult for us-it's in their best interest if we just pay out of pocket so they probably do whatever they can to make sure that this happens!

Anyway, I hope everyone gets to enjoy their weekend! It's supposed to be warmer here in NYC so I'm excited about the possibility of enjoying the weather!

Attempted induction at 38 weeks; ended up with a c-section.

Zanelee - fingers crossed for you!!

AFM... AF showed up this afternoon, 2.5 days earlier than expected. Whaaa?? So I started my dexamethasone, and will call to schedule my day 12 ultrasound. My body seems bent on reminding me that I have no control over it!

Hi ladies,,,

Zanelee I hope everything will be OK,,,I would think that all those meds would had affection, pregnancy wouldn't stay. You need to find out whats going on and try not to make it worse,,,,a lot of water would be my only advise, it would help to wash the chemicals,,,

Renavoo I have BCBS but I work for religic organization and this changes everything,,,church don't want people have babies,,,

Monkeyscience its always like that, when we plan it doesn't happen :)

MonkeyScience Dang it! I'm really hopeful for you now that you're starting meds, though.

AFM, I'm CD25, 8DPO and spotting. I'm thinking it's AF but this would be a really early AF for me. I have only ever had one cycle this short over the last 2 years. It's either a fluke or my multi-vitamin and chiropractic care have shortened my cycle...yeah probably a fluke lol.

Happy Friday ladies!  joy.gif

MonkeyScience - You just finished Provera, right?  Whenever I've done Provera (have done a few times) AF is sooo unpredictable...a lot of the time I spot while I'm on Provera, then when I'm done it takes 3-5 days or so for AF to show up.  Good luck with your new meds

Renavoo - Ideally, what would your new RE start you on?  Clomid + estrogen?  Femara?  Just curious as to what you think will work best for you.  Hopefully this RE will be better at listening to you than your last one!

Silverbird - I saw your post on the IVF thread.  I'm so sorry that your family is going through such a tough time.  You are such a loving wife to be there and be so supportive of him.

AFM - Looking forward to a beautiful weekend.  Waiting on AF after finishing up Provera yesterday.  I'm starting Clomid on day 5, so just need to get my cycle going whistling.gif

I'm feeling a little bloaty and crampy, so hopefully she'll show up soon.  DH is trying to plan a business trip, so it'd be nice to have some sort of idea (although it will be a wide range) as to when I'll O so we can plan accordingly.  I've never used OPKs before, so I'm sure I'll be chock full of questions for you ladies this month....Work has been crazy crazy what with tax season and all, so I am SO looking forward to this weekend!

Tanty - or implantation bleeding! Sorry, hard not to grasp at straws, but it's always possible.

lulu - Yeah, just finished Provera. It's just that the two other times I've taken it (huge sample size, I know!), it happened the same way... tiny bit of spotting the 4th night after stopping, AF the 5th morning. I was not expecting AF to make a definitive arrival 2 days after stopping, and in the evening! But hey, whatever! I will take it.

AFM... ultrasound scheduled for the 18. Second round of dexamethasone tonight, first round of Femara tomorrow. I'm so worried I'll forget to take the medicine! I've also been so overeager to get started that I kept thinking I needed to start the Femara yesterday or today.

Monkeyscience - I was always worried about forgetting to take my meds too, so I would set an alarm on my phone to go off everyday at like 8pm to take my shot or meds just as a reminder and it really helped. Life gets so busy that you just forget.  Hope that helps.

Lulu - don't you just hate trying to plan your life around all the infertility stuff.  That drives me nutty too!  Fingers crossed for AF.

Tantylynn - I like monkeyscience's idea of implantation spotting!!!!!  Fingers crossed!!!

Renavoo - glad to hear that your drs office is willing to submit your claims.  Good luck with your natural cycle.

Silver - hug2.gif thinking of you!!!

Zanelee -  Did your drs know that you were ttc or in the tww when they gave you the prescriptions???  Hope everything works out for you.  Hope you feel better soon!  I can feel for you I have asthma too and it isnt' fun but prednisone is the bomb when it comes to making you feel better w/ asthma/sinus issues.

Hi everyone! Sigh, I'm going through a bout of insomnia so I thought I'd check in. We just found out that we got approved for an apartment! It'll be a small two bedroom but we really wanted to get the apartment for the (hopeful!) coming of our little baby. So, this is exciting, although the upfront payment is a little crazy; luckily we have been saving! I shudder to think about how we will handle paying for the apartment, renovations to the apartment and then IVF but i guess we'll cross that road when we get to it!

LuluRoo, honestly, I don't know what i should be on. I don't think clomid is it because of how badly my lining responded but then again, the low dose might be ok, if I got estrogen supplementation (My doctor initially put me on 100mg...after the second round when she saw how badly it affected my lining, she dropped the dose to 50mg for round 3. Of course, that begs the answer to the question of why she started me on the higher dose in the first place...I read that, really, all women should be started on the low dose and then graduated up if it doesn't work. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.) Truthfully, I don't know what the right course of therapy is. I just really want a doctor to tell us but then also, to tell us why. I'm inquisitive and I have a scientific/medical background so I know I'll go research it and find out what is going on...it would be great if the doctor would just be more open to explaining why he/she is putting us on the selected regimen.

DH is a bit impatient (as am i) and he is open to trying IVF right off the bat after this next cycle. We just really want a little baby. I feel like we have such an amazing relationship and the only thing that is missing is our little baby. He's being so supportive but I still feel like a bit of a failure that my body can't seem to allow me to get pregnant! And I look at DH and think that he would be such an amazing father...it's just heart wrenching. I love that you guys all understand because it makes me feel better and it really does make me a bit more hopeful. I just hope we all get our bfps soon.

Blueyezz, how are you doing? Any signs yet? My fingers are still crossed for you!!!

Tanty, let's be positive! Go implantation bleeding!!

MonkeyScience, I think everyone gets afraid about missing their dose. Once you get started though, I think it gets easier...at least it did for me! It became part of my routine and I basically just took my pills when I ate!

Silverbird, I read your post on the IVF thread and I am so sorry about everything you're going through. You really are an amazing, strong woman and your DH is so lucky to have you by his side. I hope that he does end up wanting to try in October and it comes with a BFP. Until then, big hugs to you. Please know that you have people thinking of you and your DH and wishing the best luck for you both...
