Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, so I apologize if I'm overlooking a thread that has already discussed this. I have a luteal phase defect. My doctor had me taking Tamoxifen in the fall, and I got pregnant around the third cycle, but then miscarried at only five weeks.

Now I am taking Femara CD 3-10, with Ovidrel. My doctor does not seem to think that I need to take progesterone supplements, as he believes that the Femara will help balance my hormone levels.

What is your experience with this? Should I be pushing to take the progesterone, as well? I'm terrified that I'm going to get pregnant again, only to miscarry because of my low progesterone levels. I want to trust that my doctor knows what he's doing, but I have some doubts.

Thanks for any help!
