I had a 8 week mc about four weeks ago, and just started my cycle back. With it seems to have come YEAST! I have not and a yeast infection since I was a teen and on the pill. Then, I got a perscription and it went away very easily. I am nursing my 16 month old and very picky abou what meds I use. What is a naral way to get rid of yeast? Will the baking soda work like it does on trush? Probiotics? Violet? Please give me some advice...
Firstly, sorry about the yeast-y beast-ies. I hate them! I've had lots of trouble with the monsters since me ectopic pregnancy 5 years ago. I like to use yogurt directly in the "affected" area. I use a syringe (like you get to administer meds to kids) and suck the yogurt into the syringe. Then, I blast it into my body. It's cold, but I suppose you could allow the yogurt to get to room temp beforehand. I also like to wear a panty-liner or pad to bed, otherwise my bed smells like sour milk the next day ;)
I combine the direct application yogurt with a pro-biotic pill for a few days. It should clear up on it's own. If it won't, then I pull out the yeast meds from the drug store (over the counter).
Hope you find that helpful!
