Lilac-what a wonderful story and exciting news for the holidays for you.

Sourire-I am glad to hear you will be starting the FET soon, how exciting.

Deborah-sounds promising. Isn't it  a drag that promising symptoms have to make you so miserable.  Fingers crossed you will have wonderful news to start the holiday.

Toothfairy2be-What a way to start the new year. Best of luck to you.

Yes, it's a drag, but if it results in my take home baby, I'll gladly deal with it.

I think I'm out and I'm really upset about it. I woke up around 2 to discover spotting after I had been cramping this evening. I had cramped early on with the boys so I didn't count myself out, but I didn't cramp and spot at the same time.  Not sure why I was so sick.

Deborah - sorry about the cramping/spotting. A lot of people have had that, and gotten a BFP. You never know, this time could just be different that with the boys.

Does anybody want to take over this thread? Please.

Also, could you all remind me of the changes to the front page that you wanted me to make but I didn't make while I was on vacation?

RCR- That would be good. I cramped with them, but didn't spot. However, one of the members of the HH&C thread said she cramped terribly and spotted and got her BFP. First result is today. I'm not sure whether I'll be up for taking this thread over. It depends on what happens. I may disappear for a while if the result is not a happy one. I'm sorry i can't be more helpful, but if we were not successful, then I may be back in a few months for an FET.

I'm also hearing that a lot of mamas of girls had spotting, so that's interesting. One of them never had it with their boys.

Hey Deb, Just delurking to say that I had both cramping and spotting with all three of my pregnancies. I hope it is simply your little babes digging in hard and your uterus helping them out a bit. Best of luck!!

So, here's the scoop. My first test definitely came back positive, but my progesterone and estrogen levels dropped so I'm concerned about viability. Hoping that increased doses will help. Thanks for the support ladies. Monday is the test where we see if my betas double and whether we see better numbers on progesterone and estrogen.

Rcr - how are you doing right now? I can start a new thread in early January if you'd like, but I will be very busy for the next 10 days so I can't do it any sooner.

toothfairy - any new developments?

Deborah - I hope the med doses do the trick.

Deborah: Yay, congrats!!! I had spotting with both of my girls. Also, I know of at least 2 women off hand who had VERY low and dropping progesterone numbers early on after IVF - they added in more or different progesterone supplementation and both went on to have normal, healthy pregnancies. I hope that you will too!

RCR: Thinking good thoughts for you!!

Congrats deborah!

I am still waiting. The lab is closed but somebody answered the phone and said they would fax it over. Hope it goes through. I don't want to have to wait until after xmas to find out.

also deborah, i had spotting on and off my whole first trimester.  what kind of progesterone are you using?  part of my spotting was due to crinone, which was causing vaginal bleeding and not actual spotting from my uterus.

I am on PIO shots. I used Crinone last year and had a similar experience, Aura. It wasn't until 10.5 weeks though. I am happy to report that my spotting has stopped and my vomiting is back :-). I threw up everything I've eaten today. I'm thinking maybe this morning was a fluke and I was worried over nothing. Hoping I'm right.

It was a BFN. I have been expexting it all week, not that it helps. I got a negative test yesterday. My next beta is on the 27th, but I really don't expect it to to be any different. I am going to POAS on xmas though, which would be 12 dp3dt.

Thanks for all of your kind encouragement and support. It means a lot to me. I think this will be the end of IVF for me, unless we decide to move on to donor embryos. I was 34 when I started ttc, and now I am 38, so my chances are not promising, and I need to be realistic and move on.
