Thanks OP and all others on this thread! Makes me feel more empowered and hopeful! Going to give this plan a try! Congrats...though this is a bit old. I found it very helpful.

Daurelia- That is awesome news to hear.  My story is very similar to yours. We have been TTC for 16 months and no luck.

While I was seeing my gyno she ran the HSG test, blood work, and even a biopsy of my lining (hormone levels on this were a little wacky; taken on day 24 of my cycle but showed a day 17 sample).  My husband went to a specialist and was told that he has good motility and count.  In May he had to have a an operation to fix a restricted gland and everything went well.  My gyno started me on Clomid for 2 months and it had some nasty side effects.  When I told her about my husband needing the surgery she referred me to a specialist.

My RE currently has me on Fremara (4th cycle of this) and I take a vitamin B-complex to help me ovulate earlier.  I was ovulating late (day 16-17) and getting my period on day 24 and by taking the complex it has helped me to lengthen my LP.  I have been going in for my day 10 ultrasounds to look at follicle size and we have done 2 IUIs.

I have found that the last 2 cycles (which we did IUI for) I have also spotted about a week after the IUI.  I thought that it could be implantation bleeding but it definitely wasn't.  I am starting to think that there was something to the results of the biopsy and that my hormone levels are off.  I too, felt that maybe things are fertilizing and just not implanting.  I think that I will call my doctor and see if I can come in for a consultation before my next ultrasound.  We are planning to do IUI one more time and then take a break for a few months.  It is so hard to deal with the poking, prodding, bruises from blood work, and disappointment/anxiety.

I want to go in and be prepared for my next appointment.  Has anyone tried the injections that make you ovulate?  Has anyone ever tried a double insemination?  What has worked and hasn't worked for anyone?
