Well, after some light bright red bleeding all day long yesterday, I decided to go buy some more pregnancy tests to try and ease my mind until my 3rd beta tomorrow. Woke up this morning, still bleeding and took one. Not even a hint of a line, like super negative. So that means that since Tuesday when my beta was 127, it must have just started dropping soon after that. I'm not sure whether they will still have me come in for another beta tomorrow but I have to call them in the morning anyway since I will need a rhogam shot. It just really, really fucking sucks to get this close and have it all ripped away just as quickly.

Oh, Rochelle, I am so sorry. This isn't fair. hug2.gif

deborahbgkelly 12-02-2012 10:21 AM

I'm so sorry Rochelle. Hugs and healing to you.

skeemama 12-02-2012 12:34 PM

My heart goes out to you Rochelle.

So sorry!

BucketOfRain 12-02-2012 04:42 PM

I'm so sorry Rochelle:(

deborahbgkelly 12-02-2012 05:21 PM

I wanted to let you know that my ultrasound went very well. I had 11 follicles, all 5 mm or above. There were 9 on the left and 2 on the right.

brichole1214 12-02-2012 07:13 PM

Big hugs Rochelle! Sending out healing vibes!

Deborah: Those numbers on ur follicles sound great! Not much longer for you!

AFM: 4 dp trigger and of course it's still in my system. So ready for the next 6 to 7 days to go by as quick as possible! Thinking about all of u! And good luck to everyone who has testinf or procedures coming up!

deborahbgkelly 12-02-2012 11:34 PM

Yes, we already have nearly double what we had last year. It's so exciting and hopefully we have a much smoother retrieval this time around. I know I've discussed what I think needs to happen with my RE. Really hoping to get some frosties and I think there is a distinct possibility for at least a few!

planegreen 12-03-2012 07:02 AM

Rochelle, I'm sorry to hear that.  Keeping you in my thoughts.

Deborah, sounds like great progress!

AFM - nothing to report...

deborahbgkelly 12-03-2012 08:31 AM

Copy/pasted from IVF thread; Still waiting on the full report, but several of my follies got bigger. I have one at 12 mm, two at 11, and one at 10. The two at 11 were at 8 yesterday. Also, there are none smaller than a 6 now. Yesterday, my smallest were at a 5. The Saizen (HGH) is expensive, but seems to be worth it so far.

shesaidboom 12-03-2012 09:54 AM

Deborah, that is great news! I'm so excited to follow your progress. Fingers crossed and good luck sent.

brichole - isn't the wait the worst? I was just calculating this morning how long a trigger might stay.

AFM, my beta isn't until next monday (20 dpo, but 15 days after my transfer..for some reason my clinic is making me wait FOREVER), but I did an HPT this morning (13 dpo) and two lines showed up. I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic since it's still early, but I'm not very good at that. I kind of want to ask to have my beta moved up so I can find out sooner.

skj2011 12-03-2012 10:20 AM

Yay SSB! Congrats! joy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gifjoy.gifenergy.gifbiggrinbounce.gifgoodvibes.gif

SilaMarila 12-03-2012 01:48 PM

WHOOOO Shesaidboom!!!! Seriously clinic why the long beta wait!?!?

deborahbgkelly 12-03-2012 04:16 PM

Thanks everyone! Copy/pasted from another board: 12/3/12- Dateline Rainbow Baby Kelly Making. We start preventing ovulation tonight and are looking at retrieval for Saturday at this point. We will know with slightly more certainty on Wednesday. Right now, we still have 11 follicles (not going to get more since that's the count at rest and don't really need to). My smallest one is at 6 mm, next smallest at 7 mm, three at 8 mm, 1 at 9 mm, 2 at 10 mm, two at 11, an done at 12. They like them between 14 and 16 and expect a growth rate of 2 mm per day.

Shesaidboom- so happy. I hope to be 6 weeks behind you!

brichole1214 12-04-2012 05:57 AM

Shesaidboom:  YAY!!! I would be pushing for them to go ahead and do a beta also :)  That is so exciting though!!!   And YES, this wait is KILLING ME! I'm 6dp 1st 1/2 of the trigger i took and 3 dp 2nd 1/2 of the trigger sooooo of course the hCG is still in my system BOOOO lol.... I am going to keep taking my cheepies from wal mart until they are negative and then i'm going to probably wait until next tuesday to go ahead and start testing with the FRERs.....I've never been more anxious in my life!!!   I guess this being my VERY last shot at getting pregnant again really makes me want it even more.  G/L with your beta and i hope the numbers just keep going up and up and up ;)

Deborah: It is so wonderful that your body is responding so well to these medications!!!! I can't wait to hear more updates on how you're cycle is goingAF!!! :)

AFM:  Yup, bored and ready to get to the real testing!!! I did find out that if i find out i'm pregnant in December I might as well wait until January to go to my OB because if i don't i'd have to pay my yearly deductible twice! I was like um....ok, i'm good at just waiting lol.  If i am pregnant I am planning on waiting until my birthday to tell the rest of my family.  That would put me about 10 days into my 2nd trimester and I need that time to prepare myself for how they are all going to react to the news.  My mom has finally decided it's my body, my life, i can make my own choices...i'm grown.  There are others in my family who act like it would be the end of the world if I got pregnant and had another baby....and may i say those people in my family can suck a lemon!!!!  Come on December 11th!! Please hurry up and get here!!!!

shesaidboom 12-04-2012 01:11 PM

Thank you all for the support and sweet comments. You are all really wonderful! I did call yesterday to ask about moving the beta up and a nurse who was a little rude (but I don't want to get into that story, some of you read about it on the IVF thread) said they can't, so Monday it is! I tested again this morning and it looked exactly the same. Not darker, but still there.

deborah - I'm so glad things are looking good!

Cait - I want you to be too! I am crossing everything for you and am hoping that this is the cycle for you.

sila - they told me the wait has something to do with wanting to know beta numbers on specific days, not just wanting to know if it worked. Something about multiples too, but we only put one embryo in so I'm sure it's not multiples.

brichole - oh, the waiting is awful, isn't it? We're having our betas within a day of each other so I'll be sitting here holding your hand through the computer screen, crossing everything for you! I don't understand why some of your family is being so negative. You're a grown woman who can make your own choices! If you want another child it's none of their business.

deborahbgkelly 12-04-2012 06:16 PM

Thanks SSB! I meant to say that on the IVF thread too but my brain is already acting preggo. Raging hormones and all from the drugs probably. AFM- Another mini-update on Rainbow Baby Kelly making. I talked to the anesthesiologist today. I ended up in the emergency room after my egg retrieval last year so we are doing whatever we can to prevent a repeat incident. I convinced him not to use Versed, so we will use fentanyl and prophynol (sp?) combo instead. I will take Prilosec about an hour before the procedure, I will also take my albuterol right before the retrieval. He will start an IV drip of Dextrose to keep my blood sugar up and an IV of reglan to keep everything down. I'm still a little nervous, but know that I'm in good hands and we are doing everything possible to prevent a repeat incident.

brichole- sorry your family is so negative, that must be really hard on you especially when you and dh are trying so hard to complete your family. Praying for a positive test next week!

Also, shesaidboom- Thank you for the new thread!

brichole1214 12-05-2012 09:14 PM

Cramping horribly bad today and tonight. Has anyone here experienced that with the trigger shot? It definitely wasn't like this almost 3 years ago when i did this

deborahbgkelly 12-05-2012 11:59 PM

Brichole- I only remember getting very nauseous with trigger, but it does induce ovulation so maybe that's sever ovulation cramping you are feeling.

brichole1214 12-06-2012 04:52 AM

I felt the ovulation pains a week ago....maybe my ovaries are still sore from the trigger....i hear it can cause pain for up to two weeks after greensad.gif Trigger shot is finally out of my system.....trying to refrain from testing until monday or tuesday...but i can't promise anything lol

brichole1214 12-06-2012 05:10 AM

shesaidboom 12-06-2012 06:18 AM

deborah - I'm keeping everything crossed for you! I hope your retrieval is as smooth as possible.

cait - I hope the December thread brings lots of luck for everyone!

brichole - same as Deborah, I never had pain or cramping from the trigger shot but I did get very nauseous. I don't think anyone can blame you if you don't hold out to test until Tuesday, just try not to worry if nothing shows up yet. You're doing your beta on 14 dpo, right?

AFM - just waiting for my beta. Had some worries over test strips not getting darker, but I took a digital today and it said 2-3 weeks pregnant so I'm feeling much better. Not ready to move to grads yet, but better.

deborahbgkelly 12-06-2012 07:24 AM

Thanks SSB! Brichole- I cramped like crazy with implantation, so that's a possibility. It felt like ovulation pain on steroids. AFM- Heading for an ultrasound and bloodwork. Please root for trigger tonight! I am so uncomfortable and ready for the eggs to come out.

Stevi 12-06-2012 08:45 AM

Negative test at 10dpo. I think I'll go ahead and see a doctor to get antibiotics for this Bronchitis. Then tomorrow if it is still negative (which I'm sure it will be), I'll stop the progesterone and start taking the medicine. I'm also thinking that it would be best to not do the last of my Clomid on the cycle that comes. Not only because of the medications, but also because I'll likely be ovulating around Christmas, and that is a bad time to try and line up donors!

It really stinks not being able to find out why I can't get pregnant.

Think Fertile Thoughts!

SilaMarila 12-06-2012 12:15 PM

Brichole - Yes I had some cramping after triggering. I think most of it was from the IUI's not the trigger shot though. Did you do IUI? Like Shesaidboom the trigger shots always made me very nauseous and very tired. Like I got hit by a truck.
