HI everyone,

Im booked for HSG on day 12 of my cycle and iv been struggling to get an appointment at a government hospital. Im wondering if CD 12 is fine to do HSG , or should i wait, wait & wait for a lesser date. Please advise i realy need one.

Welcome to the Mothering Community Motherbirthcont! I think they usually want to schedule an HSG for between your period and when you ovulate. If you typically ovulate after day 12, that should be fine. If it is close to when you ovulate, that might be good because your cervix will naturally be a little more open and it will make it easier to do the HSG. Is there a particular reason you think that date will be too late for you?
