Has anyone ever noticed a huge increase in exhaustion corresponding with implantation? Starting yesterday (7dpo, and had temp dip), I went from good energy levels to feeling like an 80 year old grandma with 5 kids and cancer or something!

joyfam - Progesterone always makes me super tired. I think that's a common side effect. So, maybe your progesterone is rising as it does with pregnancy. smile.gif Good luck.

Hi everyone! I'm not quite sure where I belong on these forums anymore TBH. I went to the doctor on monday and he suspects endometrosis. They will be calling me next week to schedule the surgery. Apparently my doc is one of the best ones locally for surgeries like this. He does the robotic surgery and hes been doing surgeries for 20+ years, he did say that he doesn't think that I'll need the robotic surgery, just a normal lap. My mom had endo and had the surgery as well. I'm scared but hopeful. My hubby and I are both 27 and we've only been "trying" since May, but I haven't been on the pill since I was like 21 or so. Does anyone on here have any experience with this? What questions should I be asking my doc? I feel so numb right now but I'm glad to know that the pain isn't all just in my head. I had a strong suspicion that I was the one holding us up from getting pregnant. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all (if this is where I belong)! Thanks for listening!

Mo - how exciting! Fingers crossed you for.

Siuann - you belong here, of course :) Lots of people here are going through treatments to conceive - IUI, IVF, hormone therapy, etc., some people are trying to overcome repeat losses, some just having a harder time getting/staying pregnant than they'd hoped. So you are certainly welcome with us. These ladies are great!

Joyfammama - I often get a few days of fatigue in the 2WW, usually about the 7th day, but my 2WW is only like 9 days, so I think it is onset of period for me. If you had a temp dip and fatigue along with it, that sounds pretty promising to me. I think it is really really important to your body to REST when you feel like that - even if you "shouldn't feel tired." I went to bed before 8:00 2 nights this week, and I am about to lay down with my 3 year old (I am off work on Wednesdays) and take a little nap myself. I usually wouldn't but I've been exceedingly tired this week.

You might remember, ladies, that I had myself psyched out about being pregnant earlier this week because of fatigue and nausea. By my chart (which I maintain to see if my temps and luteal phase improve taking vitex) I am on my 12th day of luteal phase - which is outstandingly long for me - and my temp did not go down today. I spotted baaarely over the past few days but had a BFN on Sunday, which is good because conceiving on IUD would almost certainly end in a loss. I wonder if the vitex now IS helping lengthen my cycle and support my progesterone, and I'm having these symptoms as a result of the change in my cycle? I'm not really stressing about it, just thinking about it a lot because I am in unfamiliar territory now.

Adiejan, can't wait to hear some news from you - how are you?

Xerxella, sorry this cycle isn't shaping up how you'd hoped. Good luck!

X - Sorry this cycle is not shaping up to be a good one. But as you said, at least you weren't planning on IVF. Small consolation, but I hope it helps a little bit!

Siuann - Welcome! I'm not sure how many active endo sufferers we have on here right now, but I know both Sourire and toothfairy2be are unfortunately experienced in that arena. (ETA: I have no idea how to tag people in posts!)

Mo - I like your new picture. :) Good luck with getting started on your cycle!

LK - Sounds like your luteal phase is doing good things! I've heard people say both really good and really bad things about Vitex, so hopefully you'll be in the really good camp. :)

AFM, I'm going flat out crazy with the TWW. I keep checking FF on my phone, as if it's some form of social media that might update and give me some other piece of evidence or information besides what I've already entered into it myself. I can't imagine if I actually truly had to wait two weeks. It's really more like a one-week wait for me, since it usually is 4 or 5 days until I'm convinced that I really did ovulate and the temp shift isn't a fluke, and then I test at 11 DPO, not 14 DPO. So far, the temp pattern isn't looking particularly promising/triphasic. I'm certain I ovulated, though uncertain about the date. Trying to just breathe and not explode before Friday. And trying to steel myself for the fact that 11 DPO may not even be until Sunday, anyway.

I picked up a copy of my labwork today. It seemed to confuse the doctor's assistant why I would want such a thing, but I'm glad I got it. I was told everything was "normal", except findings that were consistent with PCOS, as expected. Um, no. No, it is not. My TSH is 2.94! That is NOT okay with me, especially since the last time the same doctor checked it (2 years ago, but still) it was 1.2. And everything I've read says it should be below 2 if you're TTC, and probably even if you aren't. Also, on the stupid paperwork itself it has acceptable ranges for pregnancy, and the highest "normal" level for ANY trimester is 2.91. For the first trimester, the highest "normal" is 2.66. This doc knows we are considering TTC, he knows that I have a strong family history of hypothyroidism, but apparently he didn't bother to look at it, or he isn't up-to-date on his thyroid knowledge. :irked So now I'm freaking out that my last miscarriage was due to thyroid issues, and that if I am pregnant now, I'm screwed already. GRRRRR! Going to try to set up an appointment with another doctor ASAP. I got a recommendation from a friend for someone who will actually test the individual thyroid hormone levels and work with that.

joyfam- I meant unbelievable in a good way for my NaPro doc. The reason I go between the two is I've only ever been pregnant through IVF. So I am still treated both ways. I wish they they would work together but I understand the conflict in interests.

Siuann- Welcome, I had surgery for endo 2 years ago, the procedure and recovery weren't bad in my experience. It took a few days to feel good again but that was mostly the meds. I haven't had period cramps or any other symptoms since my surgery. Good Luck!

Hi everyone! I'm on my phone and I'll come back for personals later smile.gif! I just had a question...one min I feel pg the next I don't...I know hormones are crazy but does anyone ever feel like AF is trying to push through progesterone? Is that possible? Could it just be emby snuggling in? I've had pinching in the back of my uterus since sat. The past few days I've had some light brown specs in my cm and a sort of brownish tinge I know tmi...just freaking out! I feel like I want to test tomorrow but dh wants me to wait until beta Sunday. Ahhhhhh help! Thanks ladies!

adie - Is Sunday 14 days past retrieval? So, tomorrow is 11 days past retrieval? Personally, I would totally test, but I'm a consummate POAS pusher. orngtongue.gif My opinion is you can absolutely test on 12 dpr with a very sensitive test like a FRER you can get an accuaret test. Go girl!

Adie - When I got pregnant with my son, I spent several days certain AF was on her way because of cramping. It is definitely possible! Also, I'm also a big POAS pusher... I want to know, too! But you do what's right for you. :)

Siuann - Welcome.gif Welcome!!!! I don't know much about endo, but there are ladies on here who can give you advice. Thanks for joining us!

Laggie - @Laggie Check in!!!! You've got to have an u/s coming up! It's been 2 weeks since you're BFP, right? So, you're about 6 weeks now, right? I'm ready to hear a heartbeat (and a nose count!) smile.gif

mo - I hope af comes quickly! I hate the wait for af. It's so negative. At least once af comes, you have a fresh start and hope. Roll tide, roll!

AFM - So, this morning the big follicle was still at a 17 and the other ovary had 2 at 13 and 11. At my encouragement, we're going to kind of ignore the big one and try to get the 2 smaller ones to about a 16 and an 18. I don't trust the big one to be any good. No one's certain it's not a left over cyst and it seems like it's abnormal because of how it's growing. It grew huge before my cycle even started and now it's barely grown in a week. The smaller 2 are growing right on schedule. Anyways, if everybody grows evenly the big one would only be a 22 which is still in the running anyways. So, the plan is to keep going and add in Ganirelix to keep anybody from popping early. Hopefully, everybody looks good about Sunday and we'll trigger then. IUI would be Tuesday then. That would be ovulation on CD 12, which seems more like a normal cycle anyways. I know you guys are all on the edge of your seat, so I'll keep you updated! orngtongue.gif

This cycle shall forever be known as the Ambiguous Test Cycle. I thought after last week's OPK as HPT fiasco, it couldn't get worse. I took one of my Amazon tests this morning (the one with no timing instructions), and despite a lot of squinting, it appeared to be a BFN at 5 minutes. An hour or two later, when I took my son to the potty, I looked at it again, and there was a very, very faint line. So I don't know what to think. It could be an evap line. I've never had one before, so I don't know. I've never had a line appear later that wasn't there before - and I've checked many times! It's so faint I can't imagine it showing up with anything other than FMU, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to test again. I'm kicking myself for not just peeing in a cup so I could do multiple tests. I'm going to call the doctor and get a blood test, though, since it's the weekend and I'm worried about the whole thyroid thing.

Oh my, monkey!! I'll be on pins and needles until you test again!

Congratulations Adiejan! I'm so happy for you.

I'm still exhausted, and of course will test positive, so it's not an answer yet. I'm 11 dpo, and my temps just keep going up and up. It looks like the profit margin of a highly successful business. Rofl!

Called the doc, about to go and pick up paperwork for a beta today and Monday! Wish me luck, or something. Hope it isn't an evap line, then I will feel dumb. If the blood test is positive, though, I'll be pretty confident I'm only 9 DPO, because 11 DPO  (in all two cases, anyway :p) shows up very clearly!

I am day 1 of no progestrone and just waiting on the crimson tide to come sweeping in. I'm a little crampy today so something tells me she will make an appearance this weekend. I guess I need to go ahead prepare my husband for the fatigue and mood swings I'm about to have. Maybe I should just sleep in the guest room :Sheepish.

Anywho, I somehow hurt my ankle last night so DH was massaging it and putting bags of frozen peas on it for me last night. It's still a little swollen but for the most part I am ok.

One of my new coworkers just found out she was pregnant last friday . She's about 8-9 weeks along and this will be her 4th (she had a son pass away 5 days after delivery). I'm excited for her but I have to admit that I felt some kind of way on the inside. Then they all looked me and asked why I wasn't pregnant (no one knows about the issues I've had). They figure because we're newlyweds it would have happened by now but no such luck. Needless to say, I am surrounded by 3 pregnant women at work. duh.gif

I called my Dr this morning, because they called me Monday to make sure I got the message on Friday, and I'm supposed to follow up within 7 days of my blood work, which was on Monday, and this Dr is only open Tuesday 1230 through Friday noon. Well, apparently, Dr. L had am "emergency" and won't be back til next week. And she wouldn't tell me my levels! Arg! I told her that I should have gotten a call saying that the Dr was out until next week, not just leaving me with nothing, after calling me Monday and saying you'll call me right back! It's extremely time sensitive stuff. I'm frustrated. I *might* get in on Tuesday evening, which is the only way it will work anyway, because I sure am not taking 5 kids to a fertility appt that usually lasts between 3-5 hrs.

Wife, 27, to DH, 33, and Mama to DS1 Josiah - 8/09, DS2 James - 3/11, 10 angel babies, 3 foster children, and one adorable ALMOST ADOPTED son - 5/05

joyfam - I hope the doc is responsive and you get some answers.

Mo - How do you do the @ thing????? I've got issues with my format. MDC is yelling at me about my outdated web browser and I've lost the smilies on the side! :P Come on AF!

Monkey!!!!! - OMG!!! So, what did the next test say? You bought the pack of 500 HPTs, right? So, you must have tested again, right? Do they all have the evap line????? And, when will you get results from the test today? Don't tell me they'll make you wait until Monday?!?!?!?

AFM - So, now the follicles are at a 19, 15 and 12 and my estrogen is at 202. I'm not doing the IUI. We're just going to do TI. DH is out of town Saturday through Monday morning. We'll BD Saturday morning and Monday afternoon and I'll trigger Sunday morning, so I should O Monday night. So, I don't have a lot of hope for this cycle, but we'll play it out.

Married to one of the last good guys left Jim
Mom to AJ 4/07 and Genevieve 5/09

And then: I'm really, really tired of making angels.

But wait, could it really be true?
