Speaking from experience, Ice the spot for about 10 minutes before your PIO injection.

@shelley4 - Frozen's fine. I was just curious if she was cycling with you. Great news on the appointment today!!

@ilovemykiddos - How's everything going with you? I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering where you stood. Have you made any decisions moving forward?

@naturallymo - Yeah for lots of pregnancy symptoms? Well, it IS a good sign. Embrace your pukiness!

@chuord - Off to research more info on flax seed! smile.gif

@Kewpie80 - I think that's what we're going to do. See below...

AFM - Estrogen was at 502 yesterday which is awesome for me! And, the follicles continue to look good this morning. They keep chugging along. They are at 19.5, 16.5, 16, 15, 14.5, 12.5, 12, 12, 11, 9. So, 10 total measurable. Lining still looks good. P4 and LH still low. I'll go back in tomorrow and probably Sunday and I'll probably trigger Sunday for a retrieval Tuesday. But, we'll see what the next few days look like.

ETA - E2 today at 775.

ugh.  today has been up and down for me!!!  the clinic just called me back for additional blood work.  it took 3 sticks to get the blood done :(  so my uterine lining is good, but now they think they found either a cyst or a follicle on one of my ovaries, and they need to sort it out before i start the progesterone.  i really have no idea what all that means, or if we will have to delay the embryo transfer, or try again for next month.  blood test results should be ready tomorrow morning.

any insight??

X - so excited for you this month is looking great!

Kewpie - great to see you, did you end up straight onto the next stim cycle? How are you doing?
Shell - the waiting is hard, but when the embryos are frozen they're not getting any older - fx you don't have to wait!
Mo - that is great! I agree that symptoms are a good sign really, except the allergies sound hard work... If it's nasal does a salt spray help?
On my phone and I know I'm missing personals - sorry!
Afm - feeling frustrated, life has been great no migraines - and I've been enjoying challenging myself physically. O was apparently Thursday, so far I've had a migraine every day from Thursday!!! I guess it's back to natural therapies to work out what solution!
Btw I so love everyone's updates!

It's so exciting to see so much going on here!

@shelley4 - I had a "persistent" follicle during our IVF cycle - it was already there when we did the baseline, and I'm pretty sure it had been visible on the ultrasound a cycle previously.  We delayed our stimulation drugs (and therefore the retrieval and transfer) by about a week to make sure that it wasn't an issue, but it doesn't appear to have cause any problems!

@NaturallyMo - I think there are antihistamines that are "safe" to take, but that seems to mean that they're category "B" - I drive DH nuts because I won't take them, either!  I do get allergy shots that help, but my MIL has 7 cats, and usually I take two different antihistamines before I even walk into the house.  I've gone twice, and I took a half pill of Zyrtec the first time and a whole one the second (everyone was watching me, and I couldn't break it easily...and we're not "out" to most of that side yet!)  Not looking forward to Memorial Day - that one usually has me miserable!

Good luck to everyone!!

I can totally relate to this. My DH caught a virus that caused heart failure and we had to wait years for it to improve enough to even start trying and then tried for awhile and reached out to the specialist to maybe consider IUI just to find out that we are both "less than perfect" and will need to skip right to IVF. I have wanted kids since before kids was even a thought in some of my friend's minds and they now all have children and I am still waiting. But you are right, at least we are in the game!!

Well it's picking up around here!

@toothfairy2be - this last time my period started 3 days after my last dose of BCP. I think 3-4 days is normal.

@Kewpie80 - I'm excited for you to start this next cycle! Good luck!!!!

@chuord - It sounds like progesterone gives you migraines. I don't know what todo about that if that's the case...

@shelley - I don't know. Hopefully it's nothing. What did they say this morning?

@Autumnlaughing and @mjwalker

AFM - everything looked good this morning! I'll go back tomorrow. Hopefully everything keeps chugging along. :fx

just got off the phone with the clinic again.  got my latest blood test results.. it showed that whatever was on the ultrasound yesterday was a cyst, which is good news for me.  if it had been a follicle, then they would cancel the cycle. i still don't quite understand any of the reasoning behind that, but whatever, it's good news!!! may 1st is our official embryo transfer date!!!!   please cross your fingers that the embryo will stick around and grow!!!

In march, I started spotting the day after and full flow the 2nd day.  In past cycles, it's taken 2-3 days.  The RN at my clinic said it's typical to come within 3 days.  And YAY for a cycle buddy!  hoping for BFPs all around!

Hey everyone!!! The follicles are growing well and estrogen seems to be rising appropriately, so we'll almost definitely trigger tonight for a retrieval Tuesday.

Wish me luck!!!

Woohoo X - fingers and toes crossed for a massive mature retrieval!
If anyone is interested I was reading about the SBD some of you are on and found this article of caution - I'm not being a misery just wanted to post in case you wanted to read and tweak a few aspects. From the nutritional advice I've been getting what he says makes sense.
Hope everyone had a great weekend?

I definitely modified South Beach to be more in line with my general nutritional beliefs. Like using stevia as my alternative sweetener, and not going with some of the more processed food suggestions. I didn't necessarily do things as low-fat as he recommended, either. But the general idea of a higher protein/fat diet definitely works for me, both for weight loss and just generally feeling better.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for disappearing this week. We had it all worked out and it all went wrong. We got a great deal to switch our phone, tv, internet provider (better services) so we gave notice etc. Monday morning the old company showed up and disconnected everything and we had an 8-5 appointment for our new hookup. We called and were given the run around that things were inputted wrong in their system and the earliest hook up appointment would be Saturday. We were called at noon on Saturday that it would now be Sunday morning. So finally Sunday we got hooked up again. Just trying to catch up on everything.

I got my last assignment passed in (course #2). Got a break for a couple more days before I take my next class (1 class this spring).

We got our call for our mock appointment May 14 (should be about Day 23 out of 26- needs to be done a month prior to IVF so we are looking at Mid-June for our first cycle) so hopefully we will be able to start IVF soon. It seems more real now. I am really nervous. It is starting to get more real. Me and my husband had a talk about our plan moving forward.

Haven't heard back from the job- given up on it now.

I will do some personals later!
