@tracyamber - Woo-hoo!!!!! That is one dark line!!!!!! So, are you 14 dpo equivalent today? When is beta? I'm guessing both stuck right now. Look at my blog for my POAS journey and number comparison. http://xerxella.blogspot.com/2014/05...s-journey.html

So happy for you!!!!!!

And, I just found out you're only allowed 25 smilies per post! That's ridiculous!!!! Well, here's 25 more:

Thanks everyone. I'm excited but scared at the same time. Beta is in the morning at a lab near my house so it will be a few hours before I know on Friday. I will be there as soon as it opens.

@tinytina - Hugs to you. It made headline news down here, too. Scary stuff.

@tracyamber - Stalking you waiting for the beta number..... I'm guessing between 300. To spread my odds, I'll say 250-350. What dpo are you again?

No please don't say that yet... 270 is kinda high huh?
We are now waiting for our 2nd beta on Monday...... It's sorta surreal right now. I was so depressed this time last year. I even remember
I stopped posting for awhile and now? Dh and I are ( well I'm am) in a fog of emotions.
The last two days I slept from 12 to 5 in the morning. I'm just alert. With my son I remember staying up watching movies and I'd still wake before dh. I wonder why this happens?

I had my day 6 u/s today and it looks like we have 27 follies in the game right now. How is that for a day 6 ladies with lots of experience? They range in size from 5 to 8

TinyTina - I'm so sorry for your bad news. (And bursting my good news bubble is not anything you need to worry about - I'm just sad it didn't keep going for your sake!) I'm glad your dh is taking things well, and that you're able to be open with each other. I hope you enjoy your break! As far as IUI vs IVF, I'd definitely give IUI a shot if you don't have any known fertility issues yourself. Way cheaper and less invasive, and much easier meds, too. Also, someone mentioned to IVF so you can have bio siblings for your child. I believe (based on reading about others' experiences), that at least some sperm banks offer to let you buy/reserve additional "samples" from your donor for just that reason. I don't know if this will help at all, but my grandfather was a quadriplegic from age 19 until he died a few years ago (at age 77 - waaaay after he was supposed to have "expired"). He and my grandma were able to have one miracle baby (my dad). My grandma also had 2 miscarriages. They adopted 5 other children over a span of about 15 years (I think). They were/are wonderful parents.

oxford - Wow, what a tough blow! I don't think I've heard of 0 fertilization with normal-seeming eggs/sperm before. I hope the ICSI helps. That is great that you'll get another try for free, though!

Tf2B - It is so your turn to get off this merry go round. Did you end up having your official beta, or did you just skip it?

Tracy -
I'm going to buck the trend and say there's just one in there. My 12 DPO beta was 167, with a 28-hour doubling time, so it would have been well past what yours was, and I just had one inside. But you did transfer two, so who knows! From all that I've looked at with betas, it seems like they are very poor at predictors of whether you have one or two in there, even if you take doubling time into consideration. My high betas do seem to be a possible explanation for my horrendous morning/all day sickness, though! (Which has blessedly, finally disappeared in the past couple of weeks.)

I'm sure I've missed a bunch more people, but dh is getting whiny, so I have to go. I'm reading along, and cheering you all on, just not posting much from my phone.

Monkey (30) + Pirate (28) = a forever family (5/10) - Baby Bird (8/12), our long-awaited first, one (9/13 @ 7w 6d), and Baby Yummy (10/6/14)

I’m spotting.

According to the post transfer charts, implantation would be finishing up today. Day 5 post 5dt. Could be from implantation bleeding? Could be from the suppositories? Could be my period starting like last cycle?

Me: 33 PCOS Him: 33 vericocele
13 long years of TTC using various methods before the twins finally came - Too much history to list
IVF #1 11 weeks
IVF #2 Liam and Maisie (now 2 years old)

Oh hang in there! It could be from any of the things you mentioned. I hope implantation. Try not to stress, maybe go to bed and just give yourself a break. Hugs mama, I'm sorry this journey can be so stressful.

The spotting has stopped and the TP was stark white this morning. DH is treating me like an egg and won't let me do anything, not even turn the light switch. The wait till beta is a tortuous one.
